i don't need no good advice

so yes, what a week it's been.  i never thought i'd resort to myspace for an audience, but i haven't yet made it to be a best-selling writer, or the popstar or stand-up comedian i've dreamed about being.

last week was totally action packed.  i saw three gigs in a week, and paid no money for any of them.  a feat achieved through a combination of competition win, generous friend plus one gig that was genuinely free.

sometimes it is terribly easy to take what is free for granted, and then when it's over you realised what you had let slip.  well, this went for the first of the two gigs.  especially with the alcohol involved.

the evening of the first gig ended with actually falling off a bus and hitting head first on the pavement.

it hurt a little, but no matter.  i was already wasted.
