Interested in coming to Korean Punk shows? Please read...
Welcome!
Korean underground music shows are unlike any other. Everyone is welcome regardless of race, nationality, gender, or profession... and if its your first time at a show, you'll likely meet a lot of people.
Having said that, keep in mind a couple of guidelines:
- You are not automatically more punk than everyone else just because you are from North America.
- Don't heckle the bands if you don't know them. This might have been OK at a Warped Tour, but local shows are a different matter.
- No fighting. Fighting is extremely rare at shows, and if you start one you probably won't be welcomed back.
- Don't throw drinks. It damages equipment and pisses people off.
- If youre into moshing, get a feel for the place before you start dancing. Don't be "that guy" who accidently punches a 15 year old girl in the face.
- Punk shows (much to my chagrin) are not good places to pick up loose women.
That's all. If you're interested in coming to shows, don't hesitate to ask for directions.
