new releases by BAD STATISTICS & FRED VAN HOVE

dear (K-raa-k)3 lovers,
we're glad to announce you 2 new releases ready to come your way!
First of all we're releasing a CD by Fred Van Hove together with the Rhythm Section (Tatsuya Nakatani & Peter Jacquemyn). For the avant-garde jazz fan, Fred Van Hove and Nakatani will ring a bell, as they used to play with Peter Brötzmann, Han Bennink (The Ex), William Parker, .....
The album we're releasing is a live recording this trio made in the spring of 2007.
The second release is an LP by the New Zealand band Bad Statistics. They're a bunch of improv rockers, veering between prog, kraut, minimalism and Scandinavian doom. This is their debut album, limited to 500 copies of vinyl.

Awake again after the festival
This was kinda like a festival again. Witchcraft phoned us one hour before they had to catch their plane that the drummer had a really bad flu. Orthodox, a new spanish band on Southern Lord, was prepared to travel to Hasselt to replace them last minute. They did a more then excellent job.
Thanks to the great audience, brilliant and superfriendly artists, en to artcenter KC Belgie for all the support.
