Please Read-Friend In Need!
Ivy Alvarado
A friend, and client of the HepKat Beauty Parlor &
the HepKat Ladies, and a lot of you on the Central Coast,
is in need of some serious prayer!
At age 16, Ivy suffered a massive heart attack.
No one knows the exact cause, but it's suggested
she went unconscious from the attack, and wasn't
found for a few minutes, lying in a flower patch, curbside.
She was being held in intensive care unit, at French Hospital.
After a few days, they have stabilized her, but are unable to
take further care of her. She is being relocated down south,
to Totally Kids in Sun Valley, Ca.
According to what we know now,
the brain damage she sustained is
mostly limited to her "white matter",
which is responsible for motor skills.
Her cognitive "gray matter" looks really good.
She's been responding to what is said
with laughter at the appropriate times.
This is definitely a ray of light and a spark of hope!
For those of you that know Ivy, then you know what a
loving, caring, and genuine girl she is.
One unique, loving soul in this world, whose
smile definitely lights up the room.
HepKat is planning on holding a charity event
soon, in support for the Alvarado family!

We are wishing for a most successful recovery.
