In case you didn’t notice all those d250 signs going around (I thought it was some jean add or new radio station at first) Well it stands for Democracy in Nova Scotia for 250 years. That’s fine and dandy but did you know that our government dished out 10.7 million dollars on celebrating it. Which is funny because with the food banks that cannot keep up its users, power increasing 9.5% and cost of living that has risen 4 dollars a person I do believe the money could have been spent better. I mean I understand why we should celebrate it to make us citizens be more aware but 10.7 million dollars..oh it came from our tax dollars FYI.

 Seriously, if my tax dollars are going towards this shit then I want a large envelope containing a black Styrofoam triangle hat. These hats where handed out apparently to anyone who knew of such celebrations. Environment? Hello ? Styrofoam is not really eco friendly. But still don’t we all deserve one. Were you aware of the fire works last Friday or did you think there was a shot off down town. How about the cooking contest that happened, I like food. Seriously, this is why we must be more aware and do like the Romans did when it came to government. Mob freaking rules baby. We don’t want our money to be spent on useless shit so we’ll all gather in front of city hall until its dispensed properly. But no, that won’t happen because we can’t even sit on a bus next to a stranger. So how can we form a big mob and get shit done?
