Got a COVER

I'm over the moon in LOVE with my new cover. It's fabulous. It took a lot of tries and tons of hours of hard work from the artist who created it, Tina. No matter, I am really pleased with it and can't wait until I get a copy of it in my hold little hands.

Now I just have to wait another 6 months or so. I wonder how I'll make it. LOL

Review - SEXIEST MAN ALIVE by Diana Holquist

This week I read the second book from Diana Holquist, SEXIEST MAN ALIVE.  It's about Jasmine Burns, a shy costume designer and Josh Toby, well known actor and People's sexiest man alive two years in a row.  Josh is in New York secretly to do a play and get respectability as an actor, but he needs a costume so people don't know who he is.  While Jasmine is trying desperately to get over her intimidation with men, she runs away from them.  So Josh hires Jasmine to keep his identity under wraps and he vows to help her get over her intimidation with men.  What neither of them expects is to fall in love.  It's simply not in their plans, Josh is out to prove himself as an actor and get over his fear and Jasmine is starting her new career.  But life has other plans for them.

The dialogue in SEXIEST MAN ALIVE is quick and funny.  Ms Holquist created lovable, likable and characters you can relate with.  I found myself identifying with Jasmine and feeling bad for Josh (I mean how many times can one hear you're a pretty face with nothing much between the ears before it affects you?).  I routed for them all along.  I truly loved her book MAKE ME A MATCH so I had high expectations for her second one.  Well I'm here to say she met and surpassed this reader's expectations.  I can't wait for fall to be here so I can get my hands on this wonderful author's next book.
