We're playing a benefit concert on May 16th at Christian Life Center in Humble, TX. All the proceeds from ticket sales are going to the "Joseph Project". It's a food pantry ministry that our church has started to feed to homeless in Baytown. We're going to be playing songs from the new record "Opposite Way". Today was a crazy, happy, and sad day all at once. After about 6 months, hundreds of thousands of miles, and 89 cities... the Altar & the Door tour is over. It seems like it's been a huge hunk of our lives and it's bitter sweet to part ways with John Waller & Casting Crowns.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the shows. We played for roughly 360,000 people and we got to meet some of the greatest fans ever!

The tour crew had the brilliant idea of wrapping all of our gear cases in saran wrap and tape. Then they hoisted them about 50 feet in the air. Amazing...

Ok... so we're here in Murray, KY right now. We just had an amazing show with 5,000+ in the crowd. The promoter was cool enough to buy a bunch of nerf guns for the dressing room. If any of you know Jake or Mike... you know how dangerous that is.
Anyways, I'm in the front lounge of the bus and Mike is playing Abracadabra on his iPod for everyone's enjoyment. Here are some pics from the road.

Hey guy's and gals. Hope you're doing well. We're doing great. I'm on the bus right now in the front lounge. We just watched American Idol, and Kristy Lee Cook just got voted off. Sorry Kristy... Every now and then we like to spotlight a ministry that we really believe in. As a band we know that there is a huge revival happening in our generation. God is raising people up to be world-changers and go the opposite way of "mainstream" culture.
A huge piece of that is media. How awesome would it be if there was more QUALITY christian broadcasting... something that’s actually relevant and really carries the gospel. Well, the Young Believer’s Broadcast (YBB) is doing exactly that. And their programs are reaching ALL OVER THE WORLD!
We believe in what they’re doing so please go check out their myspace, and put them in your top friends.
Let’s keep praying for our generation! We need to all partner together so the kingdom of God can become a reality for the people around us who are hurting.

It's Jack here. As some of you guys know, Leeland and I are pastor's kids. Our parents pastor a church called Celebration of Life in Baytown, TX. God's really doing some amazing things there. Check out the myspace in our top friends.
