So I got behind on listing the books I read and posting them here... and I have read a TON since my last post, so I hope I can remember all that I've read--and if I can find them lol
So I'll be doing that then posting it up. For my benefit of course but I also incourage people to let me know if I'm missing any good books that I should read. Or if ya wanna talk about a book on the list - I am always eager to read and talk about what I'm reading or what I've read... or what I'm looking forward to reading lol

Thanks Anna! I've been tagged and here's how ya play:
1. Link back to the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog
3. Share six random things about you
4. Tag six random people at the end of your blog entry
5. Let the tagged people know by leaving a comment on their blog.
Here are my Six Random Things:
1. I remember making fun of those who had romance novels or I would snicker at the corny lines in such books... now I read them lol ah youth
2. I have a tendency to obsess over certain things, but give me time and I'll move on
3. I love remakes of songs, I'll search a song and see who all has remade it, then I'll give it a listen... if I like it then I'll play over and over and over...
4. I have 7 tattoos - I regret 2 of them
5. Don't try to talk to me Thursday Nights, that's my Supernatural Night
6. I'll started to write a story and would write all night, but then I had stopped and all of a sudden it's year later and I've yet to finish it
To celebrate the upcoming release for Mine to Possess, Nalini Singh is have a Contest where we get to tell her our favorite/hottest hero(es) - well here are mine...
~ZANE COBRIANA~ Cobra shapeshifter from Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' HAWKSONG This was my first taste of shapeshifter romance. I read and re-read this book so many times I'm surprised the binding is still holding together lol. Of course my shapeshifting romance heros have since matured since falling into oh-so-many supernatural worlds for 'Adult Readers' but Atwater-Rhodes writes a great story with hints of raw passion that I think is great for 'Young-Adults' and 'Adults' alike :) and if I'm going to give credit to Zane then my next one is -
~AUBREY/ALEX~ Vampire from Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' DEMON IN MY VIEW He started off as a villian with In the Forest of the Night, but could be consider the hero in this book. He has the Bad Boy quality with heart, and who can resist that? :)
~LUCAS~ Alpha of the DarkRiver (Leopard Pack) of Nalini Singh's SLAVE TO SENSATION Need I say more! Of course I would need to list all of her heroes so far because this lady can write a great alpha, and I also gotta have-
~ACHERON PARTHENOPAEUS~ (and a lot of the other heroes from this series) Dark-Hunter from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter Series Coming in August this year, ACHERON, is the book in the series that people have been waiting for, and with good reason. Even though the series won't end with him I have to wonder, will the next part of the Dark-Hunter World be as good with Ash's story told and done with? I'm thinking, Hell Yeah, cuz Kenyon writes some kick ass heroes!
~RHAGE~ (and all the Brothers included) JR Ward's BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD Hello, have you read the series - 'nuff said.
There are just so many out there and I hate leaving them out, but I think you can see were I am going with this :) I love a strong Alpha who takes charges but knows when to back off. And alot of times you get the occasional bad boy with a heart of gold or nerd/geek with extra hot potential and sex appeal. Trust me they are all good and with a great writer they can be so much more. That's why my favorite hero cannot be constricted to just one or even one type. What can I say, I love 'em all ::lol ::
Okay so I’m going to have this blog be a book list - a way to keep track of what books I’m reading for the year (any and all books). I’ll keep coming back to this blog and updating everytime I finish a book/eBook. I can’t wait to see how many I read in a year :) I am also going to color the books differently, like eBooks will be Purple, Harlequin Blaze/Silhouettes in Red, etc. If I re-read anything, that will be in Green. When I come up with a color for a different book I’ll be sure to post it. And I won’t cheat, lol, if I haven’t finished it, then I won’t post it till I do - that’s for me so I don’t jump ahead of myself. Feel free to chime in with what you may be reading or have read this year. Oh and although I read the ARCs last year I’m still putting them up as books read this year, if they are being released this year. My rating system will be1-5 1-"Don’t Waste Your Time" 2 -"Could’ve Been Better" 3 -"So-so, an Ok Read" 4 -"It was Good" 5 -"Freakin’ Loved It!" Since I love reading and have yet to read a book that I hated in a while, I wouldn’t be surprise if I didn’t put up less than 3 which for me is,"So-So-didn’t hate it, didn’t freakin’ love it, but I liked it enough"

A Naughty Noelle by Ann Bruce - EXCERPT
Current mood: excited
The Blurb
Two days to Christmas and Noelle Mason is in danger of becoming a New York City statistic when a walking cliché—tall, dark and unshaven—rushes in to rescue her. Thus, when he literally and painfully bumps into her just hours later, bleeding and with bad men chasing after him, she decides to return the favor.
His cover blown by someone on the inside, Sergio Ramirez knows hospitals, the station house and even his home are off limits to him. As should be the woman determined to help him, but it's snowing and cold outside, and Noelle's so very willing to share her body heat and work with him to generate even more.
Then the bad men catch up with him—and this time they have guns.
The Preview
"Are you hurt?"
The voice was low and raspy, but it triggered something in Noelle's still-recovering memory. Heart picking up pace once more, she peered up at the lean figure sitting rather rigidly on the backseat. She could make out the shape of the head in the gloomy interior of the moving cab. The shoulders were broad and the torso long. The line of the jaw was shadowed with stubble. Her eyes widened. "You."
There was a dry, masculine chuckle followed by a groan and a muffled curse. "Yeah, me. How are you doing down there?"
"I'm in pain, but I'll live." It was the truth. She had banged her head before and suffered nothing more than a raging headache for a few hours. Such were the trials of wanting to play pond hockey with four older—and much bigger—brothers.
"Can you get up?" he asked.
"Yes," she answered and began disentangling their legs. She was puzzled when he didn't offer his help. Maybe he only did one good deed per night.
Noelle slowly released her breath when she was finally seated beside the man who had saved her earlier only to violently barrel into her from behind a few minutes ago. Pain creased her brow. She closed her eyes, needing the refuge of darkness.
"I thought I told you to go straight home," he finally said quietly, turning to look at her.
"You did," she confirmed without opening her eyes. "I didn't listen."
"Obviously."
She made a noncommittal sound. "Where are you going?"
"Nowhere."
Noelle's lashes lifted and she caught the driver's gaze in the rearview mirror. She had to give the man credit for taking it all in stride. It couldn't be every night when he gets a woman shoved into his cab by a strange man on the run. Then again, what did she know? Maybe this was a common occurrence for him.
"Then why is the cab moving?"
"I told the driver to drive," he explained, the words labored.
Noelle frowned. Was he hurt? She slowly turned her head to the right and glanced down. Her frown deepened.
"Is there a reason why you're clutching your side like that?"
"Yes," he gritted between clenched teeth, the pain almost successfully veiling the sarcasm in his voice.
Her brow puckered, but it wasn't because of the ache in her head this time. "Oh." Her eyes widened. Realization dawned. It was belated, but it did dawn. "Oh God! How bad is it?"
Her headache was forgotten as her hands felt all over his face. It was heated and coated with a sheen of cooling sweat. His stubble scratched her fingertips. Noelle's exploration halted there as she savored the discreet tingle that shot through her fingertips straight to her tummy. She was a sick, sick woman to be turned on by a man bleeding all over the place.
And only hours ago, she'd believed herself in love with another man.
Noelle gingerly probed beneath her defenses. She should be hurt, torn up inside. Yet, all she felt was more anger at herself for being so stupid than at Gil for cheating on her.
The rough voice pulled her back. "Not there."
Noelle was glad of the darkness as warmth flooded her cheeks.
"Is it just your side?"
"Mainly."
"Are you going to let me check it out?"
"Are you a nurse or a doctor or a paramedic?"
She drew back as if attacked by a kitten. Her lips thinned. "No, but I do know basic first aid. Or do you think sheer macho willpower will take care of your injury?"
A rough sound rumbled from his chest. "I'm sorry." Very gingerly, very slowly, he moved his hands away from his left side and said, "Here."
Carefully, Noelle scooted down so she could better examine the wound. She pulled the black T-shirt from his jeans and peeled it up. A blade had sliced through the leather jacket and the T-shirt and left a long cut that wasn't as deep as she'd feared. But it wasn't as shallow as she'd hoped.
"We should get you to a hospital. You need stitches."
The only response she got was an indecipherable grunt. She assumed it was a sound of protest.
She sighed. "Shouldn't I call the police?"
He growled a very decisive negative.
"What is this aversion you have to the police? Is it cops in general or just the NYPD?"
"No," he repeated more firmly.
"Why not? Your tax dollars pay for their services." A thought occurred to her. "Uh, you do pay taxes, right?"

--ps-- still catching up with Feehan's Dark Series
"Breaking Silence"
When Brenna Kincade of the Snow Dancer Pack was tortured, no
one thought she would be the same. They were right.
Caressed By Ice is the third in the Psy/Changeling Series and
so far my expectations have far been exceeded with author Nalini
Singh. Judd Lauren, former Psy Arrow, had dropped from the Net with
his family to escape Rehabilitation, which is worse than death. Now
living with the Snow Dancer Pack, a pack of wolf changelings, Judd
just doesn't fit in. His family has been more excepted, for they
show more promise of breaking Silence. Silence has basically wiped
out emotions of any kind from the Psy race. A race known for their
cold machine like behavior. Judd fears breaking Silence or having
any emotions. We find out that by feeling, Judd's Psy powers could
end up hurting somebody, could even kill those he cares about and he
just won't risk that. Especially when it comes to Brenna. Brenna,
still having doubts about herself after experiencing the worse kind
of torture, seems to only want comfort from the one man who can't
give it to her. And it seems that Santano Enrique, the Psy killer
who tortured Brenna, had done something with Brenna's brain,
unlocking a door that she can't shut. Making her have Psy-like
qualities that she doesn't want. Judd seems to be the only one she
can turn to when her nightmares haunt her. The other pack mates,
including her brothers, don't trust Judd. They still treat her as if
she is broken, or will break at any moment. She can't stand that and
Judd, being the Psy that he is, tells it like it is and pulls no
punches. The more Brenna tries to get Judd to break Silence, the
more he holds strong. Judd knows that even though Santano Enrique
was killed during Brenna's rescue, someone is still after her. It
seems that betrayal has come from the once place it shouldn't, inside
the pack.
All the while Judd is also helping the Ghost. The Ghost is
someone still connected to the Net but is trying to stop the Council
from taking Silence to far. Talk of implants to the brains of the
Psy have more and more people worried of what will happen with the
future of the Psy race. Even some members of the Council are
concerned with the progression of the implants. Although none of the
Council members are trusting of each other, there are still
alliances. Though how those alliances will turn out is just one of
the many reasons to keep up with this series.
I never knew that by reading Slave to Sensation, the first in
series, that I would be pulled deeply in to Singh's world of Psy and
Changelings. The way that she has the two races not only fighting
with each other but also coming together is absolutely intriguing.
With Caressed By Ice, we find out what happens with Brenna and get a
better look into the Lauren family. We also get to see how the
characters from the first two books are doing and get hints of how
future books and characters may come along. I'm loving this series
with every story that comes out.
Don't miss Caressed By Ice, out September 2007
The Game: The first player of this game starts with the "6 weird things/habits about yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a blog of their 6 weird habits/things, as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" in their comments and tell them to read yours.
