The Presence of Love

And in Life's noisiest hour,
There whispers still the ceaseless Love of Thee,
The heart's Self-solace and soliloquy.

You mould my Hopes, you fashion me within;
And to the leading Love-throb in the Heart
Thro' all my Being, thro' my pulse's beat;
You lie in all my many Thoughts, like Light,
Like the fair light of Dawn, or summer Eve
On rippling Stream, or cloud-reflecting Lake.

And looking to the Heaven, that bends above you,

waiting for death

my wife

Amidst the Flowers a Jug of Wine

Amidst the flowers a jug of wine,
I pour alone lacking companionship.
So raising the cup I invite the Moon,
Then turn to my shadow which makes three of us.
Because the Moon does not know how to drink,
My shadow merely follows the movement of my body.
The moon has brought the shadow to keep me company a while,
The practice of mirth should keep pace with spring.
I start a song and the moon begins to reel,
I rise and dance and the shadow moves grotesquely.
While I'm still conscious let's rejoice with one another,
After I'm drunk let each one go his way.
Let us bind ourselves for ever for passionless journeyings.
Let us swear to meet again far in the Milky Way.

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail

The Invitation

It doesnt interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for
and if you dare to dream of meeting your hearts longing.

It doesnt interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
for love
for your dream
for the adventure of being alive.

It doesnt interest me what planets are squaring your moon...
I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow
if you have been opened by lifes betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closed
from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain
mine or your own
without moving to hide it

Work & Travel / Beautiful Island of St. Maarten

For those of you who do not know what I do for work, I sell shoes. I am a shoesalesman. Or should I say, saleswoman. I sell shoes at wholesale prices for many businesses around the Caribbean, and the U.S. I get to travel alot. And go to alot of trade shows. I usually do not write about my excursions, nor do I rarely take pics.   

But this past week, I bought myself a fabulous new camera. The SONY DSC - T5 . It is really awsome. I don't know yet all the buttons, but I do know how to point and shoot.

So this past week, I was in the beautiful island of St. Maarten, I decided to take a few pics. I only took some of where I like to go and my view from my hotel balcony. It's really amazing, this little island. So these pics are just a little bit of what St. Maarten is, a tropical paradise. I hope you enjoy.

These are of my hotel. The Holland House. I love this hotel. Its right off the beach, the service is great and my view is spectacular.

These pics are Front Street, in which the shopping starts. They are full of jewelry stores, electronic stores, boutiques, cheap alcohol, which I bought some Grey Goose this trip, 1 liter, $ 17.00. Cool !!!! And there is this little block called Old Street, they have cute boutiques, a Belgium chocolatier shop, great pieces of chocolate and my favorite french cafe. I always have a ham & cheese croissant and fresh squeezed orange juice. They sell, coffees, teas, jams, cookies. Its a lovely place.

This is the reason I love St. Maarten, the mountains, the deep blue clear skies, the beauitful waters. It is really a tropical haven. There is not that many people here. It's pretty interesting. There are many other places here on the island, Simpson Bay, The French side called St. Martin, you have also in this island a nude beach. There are also lots of local artist. A very artistic island. And the people are very friendly. Just 1 hour away on spead boat you have St. Barth's and Saba, very reclusive and beautiful islands too. 

This is the plane I take to get off the island. Pretty small. ;o)

Anyways, I just wanted to share this with you. I hope you enjoy !!!

Facial Bliss

I just got a facial today. And it was fantastic!!

I feel really great. Relaxed. Soothing. Stimulating. I want another one!!

Now I want  the whole works. I am in need of it.

Anyways I am happy, I am now going to the boat show with Chris and my sister and my nephews (4 of them) I am happy !!!  I am the favorite aunt !!

Contacts !!!!!

I just got new contacts !! Yippeee

I had been unable to get contacts all my life since I have really bad stigmatism. But as of today, I am wearing contacts.
Well the ones that I have on are trial. But so far I can see.

Don't worry, I still love my glasses !!!
I had just gotten a new pair of Chanel which are fabulous and funky. I will still wear them.

Now to get contacts with color...........
