Firstly. No, we have not disbanded.
Secondly. No, we're not lazy.
Thirdly. No, we aren't playing out for a lack of gigs (However, I can go on in length about this subject- past, present and future- and that in it self would be an unholy diatribe. Believe me- I bubble with furor at this subject and for better foresight I shall digress.)

The last point was the main reason for this communique- a lot of people have been asking when we're playing next. Fall. Simple enough- when things start dying we'll be back. why the hiatus? Well... nice of you to ask....

Our "hot" Canadian drummer is no longer with us- by him dropping out of school and losing his student visa he was forced between starvation and heading back to Montreal. Well, we all assume he arrived safely for the only sign of his existence was a phone call to Ian with a birthday salutation. Real nice, right?

Lesson learned: Never trust a mercenary.

So- we auditioned some drummers and found a delectible fit in a cat named Russell Garner.... a young buck, but the kid's got heart- and he's also picking up the songs quite quickly. (Which I give sincere kudos to- our music seems to be a mental workout for drummers in particular.) The long and short- we'll be back in the fall to ensure the most serious ass kicking yet from Lono. No bullshit. Gloves are off this time. Hell- the rehearsals I've had with him- and this is truely stage 1 preperations- have had me wanting to hurl myself all over the place- and I usually do that anyways... wonder if I'll break anything when we start playing out again....

Also, when we do start playing out again expect a whole new look!!! We're going to all get similar cropped hair cuts, we're going to smile more on stage and my lyrics will be goofier and mostly about girls and my feelings towards them.
I mean seriously- why would people want to think when they listen to music?!?! Please!!!!!

Honestly- that's a joke. However, when we return- you will all know. Be vigilante!!!!!

A distant rumbling....

Good progress as of recent. Things seem to be sticking more now.
Working the beast into shape for the live jaunt.
Starting to gather the flesh to spread over the frame of new material.
Begining the journey into our great unknown.
