Gallery time?

I talked to a gallery today who was interested in the gaming aspect of my art as an extra activity for the "Art-a-Whirl" in NE Minneapolis May 16th-18th.

We're talking about setting up and playing games in their yard next to the gallery and displaying my bigger works in the gallery itself for the weekend. Shop staff (who aren't at the Scottish Fair that Saturday) may want to pencil in the weekend.

War for the Oaks trailer on Yahoo

War for the Oaks (1987) by Emma Bull (formerly of the MN band Flashgirls) is a fantasy novel set in modern day Minneapolis/ St. Paul. We had heard rumors of a movie that was being filmed based on the book including some MNRF musicians, but that the film ran out of money and was never completed.

The truth seems to be that in 1994 they were making no-budget trailer in hopes promoting the book as a potential movie script. I was just told that the 10 minute trailer has been uploaded to YouTube in four parts by Emma's husband, author Will Shetterly YouTube link

New Cribbage board

I’ve started sealing the latest giant cribbage board. This one has a design I have not used for several years, and I posted I all three of the current limited edition boards that we have in stock on our website.
