Emo this bitches...
Current mood: enlightened
Category: Music
"And All That Could Have Been", written by Trent Reznor, performed by NIN Breeze still carries the sound Maybe I'll disappear Tracks will fade in the snow You won't find me here Ice is starting to form Ending what had begun I am locked in my head With what I've done I know you tried to rescue me Didn't let anyone get in Left with a trace of all that was And all that could have been Please Take this And run far away Far away from me I am Tainted The two of us Were never meant to be All these Pieces And promises and left behinds If only I could see In my Nothing You meant everything Everything to me Gone fading everything And all that could have been Please Take this And run far away Far as you can see I am Tainted And happiness and peace of mind Were never meant for me All these Pieces And promises and left behinds If only I could see In my Nothing You meant everything Everything to me This song is one of the best songs ever. All those fuckin' pansy ass dbag "scene" or "emo" kids walking around wearing black clothes and eye makeup, crying about their hard lives, and listening to the pussy ass shit they claim to be "emotional" rock do not know shit. They wouldn't know true emotion or feeling in a song if they were sodomized with the knives they cut themselves with and force fed that shit through their bleeding assholes while they fucking cried and tried to write a song about how much it hurts. Trent Reznor is the fucking man and NIN kicks every fucking bands ass out there. If you can't at least appreciate the song writing, you are mentally disabled. thank you. I can't wait for this concert in two fucking days!!!!

Old skool skate rap yo!
Current mood: nostalgic
Category: Life
This is an old rap I wrote back in the day about skateboarding. I thought it was pretty tight back when i wrote it, and now when I look back on it...well shit I still think it's pretty tight. What can I say? I'm just gangsta. (Well, it's funny to read at the very least)
Rolling down the street on my urethane 53s, cruising around on this movable tree; shit, nuthin in this whole damn world can stop me.
As the day goes by, Im kickin my feet, popping up curbs, rockin my favorite beat, jettin around the suburbs.
My next trick jumping around in my head, marking up my mind like paper under lead. Scribblin up my brain, pushing me to find that new terrain--a new spot to destroy, a new plot to employ.
It's a skaters mission to dish out what hes got worth dishin, all the while making a cops commission, keeping those haters wishin they didnt see it everyday.
As I go along my way, these four-wheels clickin over the concrete hittin up the streets; when my crew busts up the spot, you know its on like Donkey-Kong!
Nigga, you best listen to my song before you go judging me wrong! Just because I prefer a skateboard to the rest of the hoard, doin my own thing and taking my own trip, rather than sucking on societys nip.
I dont mean to toot my own horn, but fuckin beep beep! Now watch as the rest of them weep, watchin me as I drift away to the sun--to a place where I am one with my happiness and self, not lost in the shallow world of trends and so-called wealth...
Uh, nigga what? I'd say that rap is straight skillz. By MadJ the Mad MC

America: the home of the brave, the idiots, and a lot of bullshit...
Current mood: pissed off
Category: News and Politics
I recently read an article in Time magazine titled, "How Safe is Myspace?" In the article, they discuss two girls who decided to do idiotic things with people they met on Myspace. The first girl, who was 16 years old, decided to take a plane to the Middle East where she was going to marry a man from the West Bank who she met on Myspace. Her parents didn't stop her until she was in the country of Jordan. The other girl, who was 14 years old, met a 19 year old guy on Myspace and they proceeded to meet up, see a movie, have some dinner, and then follow it up with some sex in a parked car. Now this girl's parents have decided to sue Myspace for $30 million for failure to "protect their daughter from online predators."
All I can say is, "Jesus fucking Christ man."
It seems that we here in America love to shrug our responsibilities off onto others. If we get too fat by shoveling Big Macs down our throat, do we exhibit some self-control and stop going to McDonalds everyday, do we maybe even decide to go out and exercise to lose some of the weight (gasp!)? Fuck no we don't! We sue McDonalds for millions of dollars because they sold us the food that gave us the large ass and Type II diabetes. Again, when two kids go to their high school and kill 13 people, who do we look at? Parents? The kids themselves? Hell no, we blame Marilyn Manson and violence on television. This Myspace issue is no different. Do we look at these stupid kids who decided to meet up with these random guys and say "What the fuck were you thinking you idiot?" No, we look at Myspace and say, "Why didn't you do anything about this?" No matter what it is, Americans cannot take responsibility for the idiotic things they or their children do, someone else is always at fault. America is the shining beacon of "They made me do it!" Shit, it should be our national anthem by now.
What I find really ironic is that the parent's of the 14 year old girl decided to sue Myspace for not protecting their child from sexual predators. All the sudden it was this internet website's responsibility, not the parent's, for educating their child and giving her enough god damn sense not to hook-up with a random guy she meets on Myspace. I guess the obvious question here is, "Why the fuck didn't you teach your stupid daughter not to go and fuck some guy she meets on the internet?" Again, the parent's don't take responsibility for their daughter's lack of thinking and the daughter herself isn't held responsible, it's all Myspace's fault. Shit, the guy who fucked her isn't even being held accountable (but he did get arrested for sex with a minor--sex that was consensual by the way).
And of course, this is giving the government a reason to shove their heads up Myspace's ass now. Various state prosecutors want different restrictions to be imposed on the site, ranging from minimum age requirements to join Myspace to things like anyone 18 years or older can't view the profiles of kids who are 17 years old or younger. Myspace is the new pop-culture pandemic for the youth, and the government has stepped in to save us all from moral corruption. It's no different than when they saved us from music with inappropriate lyrics or violent video games. I mean, we all know how mentally fucked up we'd be right now if we didn't have those warnings on CD's telling us there's naughty words on them. And who knows how many people we would of murdered in cold blood if we played video games with a little more blood in them when we were little. God bless America and its government, for they saved my fragile little mind.
I guess all I'm trying to say is that parent's need to teach their kids how not to be idiots. It isn't that hard. While Myspace may be the new playground for sexual deviants and perverts (anyone who's seen "To Catch a Predator" on NBC will know this), if you teach a kid how to avoid those sick fucks, then they should be alright. It's fucking common sense. Myspace shouldn't be held responsible for this bullshit. They don't require kids to tell a strange man where they live, where to meet up, and what position they like it in. That's the kid's own damn fault for saying those things and then actually going through with it. One argument is we can't expect 14 year old kids to "police themselves" and not partake in that kind of talk with people based on the common sense that it's a bad idea. All I can say is it's no wonder your kids are getting date raped if you see it that way. It's time for Americans to be big kids and take responsibility for the stupid shit we're doing, whether it's putting ourselves in positions to get sexually victimized over the internet by 19 year old guys or getting extremely obese through eating too much fast food. It's not the corporation's fault, violence on TV's fault, or even Marilyn Manson's fault. It's just our own damn fault for not teaching our kids any better and not showing any self-control as a society. I mean come on here! Our founding fathers would be ashamed...or maybe they'd just laugh at us for being such pussies.

America's youth...oh god we're in trouble
Current mood: contemplative
Category: Life
It seems that lately in my life, alot of people I know are just turning 18. Why I hang out w/ so many youngsters, I don't know. I think it has to do that I've been dating my girlfriend who is two years younger than me for about three and a half years now, so I got to know kids her age from that. But that's besides the point.
Turning 18 is a big cause for celebration in a kid's life, which is understandable. You gain the freedom from your parents, you're seen as an adult in society, you are given the respect to make your own decisions. But as I am watching all these kids turn 18, all I'm hearing is "I get to buy porn and cigarettes now! I can get pierced! I have no curfew!" Oh, thank jesus for the freedoms of adult-hood!
Watching this, I can't help but laugh. I mean, turning 18, are these all the freedoms we have to celebrate? Is this what our youth values? I mean, what about the greatest freedom we have in this country: the freedom to frickin' vote? Is this freedom not also gained at 18? But you never hear a newly-crowned 18 year old shouting at the top of his or her lungs their excitement to voice their opinion in our national government and actually be able to affect how we live as a people.
Now granted, I'm only 20 years old, so I can't sit here and claim that I too wasn't like that when I turned 18. But I know I did acknowledge and appreciate the fact I could vote when I turned 18. But it was also an election year, so maybe that's why. But still, just watching these events and seeing these reactions, it gets me thinking. I mean, I know tons of kids in my generation and of my age who are not happy w/ the way things are run in our government, and the only way for anything to change is for us to take action.
But I think as long as the main rewards for kids when they turn 18 and become an adult is the freedom to oogle ladies yum-yum's in a magazine and to be able to legally give themselves lung-cancer, not too much change will be acccomplished. We as a youth need to change our focus on to the larger picture before we will be able to affectively make a change in what we see as wrong w/ this country.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go buy some primetimes and a dirty magazine. Shit, it's my right as an American.
