Hey everyone, since our website is acting silly and difficult, I'm taking the time to let you know that we will be playing some shows in July with the Plain White T's. There are only a handful of dates, we don't want to do much more because, as you may know, we are writing some songs and getting a whole heap of ideas together which we will all inform you all soon. So anyway, without further ado...some dates are listed below.

Sun. July 6th at the House of Blues in Atlantic City NJ. (Doors at 7 pm, $26.50/$28.50 DOS)

Wed. July 9th at Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA. (Doors at 7 pm, $12/$14 DOS) This is a headlining show :-)
So there you have it, the handful of dates we have coming up are listed above. I know there are some details left out, but if you check out the Plain White T's website, Pollstar or Ticketmaster you could get some more information. I know some of those ticket prices are high, but that is not our call and we apologize. Please come have a good time, we'll give you your money's worth. We love you!
we arrive and we are greeted with our weapons of choice:
A nice wurley?
Maybe a piano and some synths?
This picture makes me salivate.
We have the patent on Maestortion
Then we get to work. Is that Chris from Days Away playing bass? Indeed, he was nice enough to come help us fill out the low end while we were in the studio. He's an awesome person and an amazing bass player. Score
Then we eat food This is Ben, one of the two engineers we worked with. He and Jacob are enjoying some pizza and beer. We worked hard on our diets while we were there.
This picture is kind of gross, but we're having obviously having fun.
Then we get back to work, but at this late hour, we get loopy.
Then we leave the studio when the sun is coming up.
We have a good time. Looking forward to all you people listening to this new music.
Hello friends, it is 11:30 pm and we just finished our lunch break. We are hanging out at Drexel University recording some demos with our new friends Matt and Ben. I can't believe how beautiful this city is right now. Even at this time of night the city still breathes with an enegry. Everywhere you look you see different manifestations of creativity lurking just below the obvious. The air outside is a strange cool warm, like the Atlantic ocean on a September afternoon. We are busy until 3 am most evenings, fueled by coffee and creativity. I just wanted to share the moment with you. You are the reason we are here you know. Thanks for reading, listening, and being a part of this story.
We knew that there would be some confusion this week, considering the fact that we changed our name to "Snakemilk" for the sake of the Bamboozle weekend, but the overwhelming response was crazy. Come on people, would really change our name to Snakemilk after 6 years of being Mae? We could never do a name like "Snakemilk" any justice, it's way too great and awesome. The name was not random, and those of you who knew where it came from, that is awesome. We got some pretty amazing comments....like people telling us they would never buy another record, some people really upset that we would change our name, and all sorts of opinionated comments on how it was a bad decision to change our name and how they almost deleted us from their myspace page...it was a fun week. Either way, it was fun to play bamboozle in our sweet Snakemilk t-shirts, and those of you who bought the limited edition t-shirts will be privy to some exclusive content over the summer. We're in Rochester today, we're playing at Roberts Wesleyan University with Switchfoot, and after this show, we will be headed home to start writing again. See you people soon! Keep checking back with us, we will not be hiding, simply writing.
We will be playing a very special show in Seattle on June 1st at the Nectar Lounge. We'll also be announcing a special guest in the next few days, so stayed tuned for that. All in all, it should make for an amazing evening, so please come out and join us!
Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to update our website, but it’s not working, so I’ll just do it this way. The tour has been a lot of fun so far, thank you for coming out to the shows. We hope you enjoyed yourselves. The Habitat for Humanity shows have been going really really well. We’ve already raised over $1000, and it’s just over a week into the tour. Today we are leaving Chicago and headed for Madison, Wisconsin. I can’t remember the last time we played Madison, so I’m glad we’re playing there on this tour. Aside from an accidental trip over into Canada (maybe I’ll explain later), the tour has been running smoothly. We got to do some bowling, we saw the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, and it’s been great meeting new people and hanging out with old friends. See you on the road!
We're headed out to start the tour in a little over a week! Make sure you come out and say hi. We can talk about anything you want..from politics to literature, from The Godfather movies to the pros and cons of the emergent church or the social benefits of the philosophies of Anton Lavey! Also, Jacob will give you a science lesson, or we'll give the mic over to any astrophysicist to discuss Singularity. Most likely, we'll just play songs, but you never know unless you come to the show!
Hello everyone, we haven't been around for a few days, and we apologize. We're having a very very beautiful time in Australia, although, internet is hard to come by for free..and that is somewhat strange, but whatever. I wanted to take the time to say hello, and to tell you a few things:
1. we saw koalas
2. we saw kangaroos
3. we've taken many pictures
4. we've seen many friends
Needless to day, we're having a very good time, and we have met some great people here. We'll be home soon! And then of course, we will start our headline tour which we expect all of you to be at! bye byee for now.
Hey friends! We're hitting the road in March for a full national Headline Tour with The Honorary Title, Between The Trees, and Far- Less! We've had a nice break and we're looking forward to get out on the road and play some songs, hang out with our friends, and listen to some great music. This tour will mark the 5th anniversary of the release of our first record "Destination:Beautiful" and to celebrate that, we will be touching on that record a little more than we usually do, so you'll have to come out to the shows to see what is in store.
Go to our website or our myspace to see when we are coming to your city.
A limited number of tickets have been held for Mae fans and are available through an exclusive presale on sale now! By buying tickets through our presale, you'll be able to get your tickets before anyone else AND save some money on service charges.
In other news, we are flying to Japan in a few days, and when we will head over to Australia to play the Soundwave Festival. We have never been down under before, and we can't express in words how excited we are. A lot of our friends with be there, as well as some amazing bands who we haven't had the chance to see yet. We're definitely bringing our cameras to capture the good times. In addition to the Soundwaves Festival (you can find out all the details here at www.soundwavefestival.com ), we will also be playing some club dates which are posted on our website as well. This will be our first tour in Australia, come out and say hello!
We will be doing a chat at Absolutepunk.net on Sunday, Feb 10th at 3 p.m. eastern time, and also if you check out our myspace, there is a blog posted that let's you vote for what Destination:Beautiful songs you want to hear on this next headline tour in March. So check it out and while you're there, find out what day we'll be closest to you.
