Skulls- the newest Fad

Skulls have historically been regarded as a symbol of death, evil, and imminent harm.  Did you know that a sector of the guards stationed at the Concentration Camps used it as a symbol to represent their "brotherhood." Yet, many people proudly give free advertising to these spirits on their clothing, jewelry and accessories. We need to get to the point, where we as Christians, are more selective about the things we put on our body.  This holds true for our children. Regardless of the current fad or trend of the times, we have a personal responsibility to guard ourselves agains the discreet workings of the enemy. Every time a child of GOD walks around decked out in skull wear -you provide the enemy with a walking billboard. 

I know we all fall short, and this is definitely not a condemnation or judgement. However, sometimes we just make it too easy for the enemy to come in to our lives. He is the master of deception.  Let's not be fooled.

Single Parenthood and Christianity

Raising a child is hard, but it can be even more taxing if you are a single parent. If you are a single parent, were raised by a single parent, or if you are close to one-I need to hear from you.  Do you think the stresses associated with single parenthood are a direct "punishment from GOD" ? I know this is a touchy subject but I'm working on a book, to be released at the end of this year, on this very subject. I figured I'd open it up to my My space family. Let's talk...
