Grounds & Sounds...
Hello Everyone,
I'm very excited about the upcoming show at Grounds & Sounds in my home town of Stony Brook. It will not only be the first show of 2008, but the pre-release celebration of my new CD "Box of Truth."
If you're wondering what a pre-release is, in the world of Marci, it's me making the CD available before the official, national release which involves press, mailings and many headaches:-)
I had such a blast with singer/songwriter/photographer extraordinaire Terry Winchell. I'm doing the unthinkable and letting you in on the photo shoot including outtakes. I don't love having my picture taking, but Terry made me so comfortable, it was actually fun!

Tuesday, 8/14, I'm sitting in with Mostly Moptop to celebrate the release of "Taking Woodstock" the book at the Cutting Room in NYC. I'll be recreating Janis Joplin & Grace Slick on 2 songs.
