update

Thanks to everyone who came out on this past tour. Fun times were had by all. The Chicago show was especially moving.

We have a few shows in December, than it'll be awhile until Margot hits the road again. Git yer fill. Right now it's back to individual projects and catching up on life related things. Possibly devoting some long overdue attention to panic attacks! Suffice it to say, there may be some good music coming from some of your favorite margot members in the coming months/year.

Thanks to everyone who has been supporting this record. It means a great deal.

long time no bitch slap.

Tour was a mixed bag. It was pretty amazing to pull off some of these songs with Anton and Lewis, two of the most incredible string players in the galaxy. Their band judgment day is one hell of a show. Nothing like it that I've seen or heard, but I've never heard a broken social scene song, so what do I know? We're eternally grateful to them for helping us pull of this album, faithful to the recordings, for at least one tour.

Alot of lows on tour as well, but we won't discuss those.

At the very least, Margot and the nukes will be going strong for 2008. We can only take it a day at a time, right?

We will be premiering a video for "as tall as cliffs" soon. Hopefully next week.

Something involving television will be happening soon.

And let's not forget, there is a tour starting in two days. If you'd like to see margot, please come out. We may not be touring with the same frequency for long. Can't keep up that same punk rock byofl touring schedule forever.

A death in the family

RIP Black plague 2006-2008

Our beloved travel companion and all around big black bus left this earth at 7:26 pm on Monday, October 13th. Although we will miss our baby, we are grateful that she is no longer suffering. We spent the evening in tears, singing her the new killers single and petting her softly. When all the tears were shed, I quietly put a a shotgun in her mouth and pulled the trigger, whispering, "We'll see you soon old friend".


This would be a good time for people to post stories of the black plague and what she meant to you individually. It would be what she would've wanted.

Animal! not being on itunes.

We've heard from alot of you who are upset that animal! has not gone up on itunes yet. Rest assured, it will, and we are trying to make it happen as soon as possible. Obviously we don't have any control over where, and how, each record is sold, but we are working on getting it up there, right along side that catchier, shinier other album.
