A hard week
Current mood: crushed

Its been a hard week at work.  A very good friend of mine passed away last Saturday due to a seizure.  Tino was a great person.  Always was there to give you a hug when you needed one and a shoulder to cry on.  He had a personality and a heart that was so big that its very rarely seen today.  He leaves behind his daughter and a loving family.  He was a great Man.

so far
Current mood: blah
Category: Life

I know I haven't written in like forever, but I haven't been in the right mind set to do so.  There is a lot going on right now.    Between work, Joel and my family my time has been very limited.  Lately it seems that all of my patience with people is growing very very thin.

First I hate gossip!!!  Working at Sams is like working with a bunch of backstabbing, two faced little 2nd graders.  Grow the F* up!!!  Just because people don't talk to you or hang out with you after work doesn't mean that you should make up shit and tell people shit that never ever would happen.  I seriously just wanna smack a bitch!!!  Second I have a enough drama in my life not to be caught up with yours.   Don't get me wrong I will help where I can, but don't come crying to me everytime someone looks at you wrong.

Besides that shit I've been really stressing about the a couple of personal things.  I recently just saw a doctor for the first time since bootcamp and everything so far is okay except for a few minor things.  Other than that I'm okay.

I really miss actual seasons!!!!  I miss all of the Fall COLORS.  I miss the cold and the rain and everything that makes Autumn awesome.  Instead I'm stuck out here with plam trees and 70-80 degree weather.  I was really bummed about missing out on the Johnny Appleseed Feastival (IF your from FT Wayne you know what I'm talking about).

After all of that everything is fine.

questions
Current mood: worried

What do you do when nothing is turning out right??

What do you do when the person you love and need the most, isn't here to help you because he is at work for another week??

These are the questions I have running through my head right now....

This something everyone should consider!!!
Current mood: relaxed

Two defining forces
Body: Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This is one ticked off lady.

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't
they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia .

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg 's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in
mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move
because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and -you guessed it -I don't care ! ! ! ! !

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your e-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous
behavior!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great country! And may I add:

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem." -- Ronald Reagan

I have another quote that I would like to add AND.......I hope you forward all this.

"If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." Also by.. Ronald Reagan

One last thought for the day:

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair 's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:

"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out."

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

1 Jesus Christ

2 The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET BOTH OF THEM.

OK IM DONE!!!
Current mood: bitchy
Category: Blogging

Ok so here is whats been going on lately.  Friday my neighbor (who really is a sweetie) hit my car with her tahoe.  Which completely killed my mirror and put a HUGE dent in my passenger door.  Needless to say its in the shop getting surgery done on it.  Then on Tues.  I was putting dishes away and Joel bent down to plug in his phone to the computer and when he got up gashed open his head on the cabinet door.  After talking him into finally going to the hospital he had to get 2 staples put in.  NO Painkillers just click click your done.  Then due to the fact that I'm not really happy with sales, in fact I pretty much hate sales.  I don't care to much for my job...The story of my life.  Sooo right now I'm sitting in my kitchen bored to death dreading that fact that I still have to go to work tomarrow morning.  Oh well.  Money is Money afterall.  Also to add that icing on the cake I really go in to it at work with this B*T*H who is as anti-military, anti-freaking everything then anyone I ever met.  I can't stand that shit!  How dare you sit there and insult the people who protect your freaking right to say the shit!!!  I HATE FREAKING IGNORANT PEOPLE!!!  All I ask is get your facts before trying to make a point.  Cuz you will just come out looking stupid!!  Do your freaking research!!!  Thats all for now!!!  I feel soo much better.  Thanx for reading about my rant!  Love ya all!!!

Family
Current mood: loved

So here it is...  Joel and I want to start a family sometime soon.  Right now we are engaged but not sure when the "date" will be.  The last few days when he was home we were soo happy.  Its like everything clicked for us.  I really can't explain it.  I love him bunches and it just makes me feel good about the direction we are going in.

Even going through all of this we still want to wait a little longer.  We BOTH want to be finanically secure to be able to provide.  Not only that but we both want to become a little more mature.  I really want children but I think at 21 and 22 we are both too young to handle such a HUGE responsibility.

As for marriage, we have yet to come up with a date and for that we would have to agree on a place:  Me- Colorado (is the place I want to get married the most by where my parents got married), Indiana, or California  Joel- Indiana, or California.  I will definately post where and when, when we figure it all out.

Actual News
Current mood: busy

I got my first ticket!  Which is not so good it is going to end up costing me around $400 Thats includes fine and traffic school (if you go to traffic school it won't count against you).  Then Joel will be leaving me twice for a "camping" trip. The first one is like a week the second is like 3 wks.  At least its not 6 mths.  But other than that.  I have the "in-laws" coming out here to visit next week. It will be nice b-cuz its the first time that we have had ne one actually coming out here to see us and visit. *hint hint* At work I have been gaining a lot of responsibility and recoginition for the work that I do for the club, which is nice.  Lately I feel like I have been living in the club rather than at home.  Since the reason I haven't been on the computer.  The past weekend was Seabee Days and it was a lot of fun! I got to work a Sam's Club booth and got to hang out with one of my best friends from work (Valeria) and Joel.  All of us got majorly sunburned.  And thats about it for right now.  soo....  I will prolly talk to some of you laterz.  Love you guyz!!!!  Miss all of you!!! ~~MARLIS
