Guten nacht all ye late night myspacers! It is after 3am, and I find myself unable to sleep. Is it a guilty concious? Afraid not, this is not a confession blog.

I feel like a child awaiting Santa Claus ... I have butterflies in my belly something aweful, I'm waiting for something....

What?

Why am I so jittery... but like excitement , happiness. Does this need a specific reason? Am I the only one who gets the case of excitements... with no clear cause?

It could be that I get to go see my fat baby next week!
Seeing all my friends.... going dancing with the girls!!(OMG I can't wait)

I do not know....but I need to sing in church tomorrow, so I need to sleep... it's not gonna happen, but I need to!

well hi there! I haven't done this in a while. I've been a busy girl. For those of you who don't know, I now live in Maryland, like a few minutes outside of DC. My life is very different.

I have made some friends. Other teachers. A random male or two...

I am teaching elementary school music at two schools. I also sponcer an afterschool drama club, and beginning next week an after school African drum group( Lord help me).

Besides that I have had the honor of working with the elementary honors chorus (I'm makin sure the big boys know who i am!)
I also am singing with Choralis and the chamber ensemble Echos. Our first concert is the Brahms german Requiem on Oct 28.

I also have a Sunday church gig. So I am busy!

I've had the flu, but this week I managed to craw out of my death bed to see Marilyn Horne, not once, but twice at the Univesity of Maryland. There I got to meet face to face, Ms Delores Ziegler, and I am finally getting a voice lesson next week! ( about time eh?)

So what else,.. I am sitting here, burnign up ..in the undies drinking Mojito's and waiting for Desperate housewives... I am a bit homesick. Not a lot, just a little.
I miss my friends...well a few of them ;) And I miss getting to celebrate UK... did you know they beat LSU? I miss Ky Autumn.... because somedays you just need a hug, and I dont have anyone here to do that for me.....
Other than that it's all good.....

the martina had an audition today for choralis!!! i of course was a nervous wreck! i even showed up 45 minutes early for duty lol!

My choice was to go with a more, choir friendly solo...so I do O thou that tellest from the Messiah! With the recit of course....to calm the nerves! i was a wreck I sang my lil heart out..... and

it always makes me feel better when the conductor says WOW!!!!!

needless to say, I got in. Not only that but I was offered a spot in the chamber ensemble, Echos!

And now I say screw the diet./... I am having a waffle cone of peanut butter chocolate...nummy nummy! I am going to the gym imediately after finishing said waffle cone... ummmmm.. forbidden waffle cone!

oh ps! I will be sing alto, but ringing...for the tenor section! muwhahahah tenors everywhere beware!

So Ms. Wheeler has made it week one with the children. I am working with music students prek-3.

I have some definate trials.

1. My schedule is rough....having classes scheduled back to back, I am going to the classrooms. I cannot physically end one class, get across the school, and start the next at the same time! No flippin way!

2. I have a class of Kindergartener's, 17 of the 20, are limited to non- English speakers.

3. Bus duty... It rained tuesday and was cold... come this winter I will be miserable.

I miss my voice students!

I miss my fat-baby!

I really miss my friday nights with the girls!

But things are good!

I get lots of little hugs per day!

All this running, hopefully will take off this little bit of trouble jiggle! Ick!

I proposed doing a musical/drama a cute little patriotic dity! My principal comes to me today, and says, think you can get it ready by November? Heck yea! I get something Like this going...i get parent support.. i get community involvement..if i do that my job security rises exponentially! Woot!!!!

Not only that...plays are fun!

I now have insurance! And if I die mom and dad each get a small shit- ton of money.

My goals for this weekend include: finding a gym, and going shopping, perhaps an oil change!Also, I need to type up this weeks lesson plans, and create folders for each grade level, so that in years to come.. i will pull lessons from that file, rather than re-invent the wheel!

Next week... I must close out my old bank account! I need to get my addy changed on everything! I need to get my car payment to my new bank for automatic withdrawl! Oh and MOnday is a big scary audition! EEEP!

2:10 PM - I am not in a good mood!!

Hello all! greetings from Gorgeous Prince George's County maryland. I just got  my internet and I'll be dagonned if it hasn't taken all day! It's not as if I haven't been lonely in DC for 2 weeks now...  but of course they were supposed to hook up my internet between 8-11 am. I have waited and waited... they show up at 1, hook me up, leave it doesnt work! I have been irate on the phone ever since. and now ater 5 pm I can get online....EEEEEK I have managed to clean my entire apt and do three loads of laundry..so much for seeing the Holocaust museum today....grrrr.. well I guess i need to find something to do tonight so that Andre doesnt call me at 4:30am...wake me, and be surprised that I didn't go out...not tonight, oh no not tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greeting from the world of eastern Ky! Hope everyone is doing well, me i've seen better days, but haven't we all?

so I have been rather absent, you see I had surgery three weeks ago, and now I am preparing to move to the land of washington dc! this is scary because I will 10 shades of lonely..at first... although i must admit that i got hit on almost everywhere i went when i signed my contract last week! ;)

other than that i have been workin ( i dont know if i should be, but my surgeon is a smarty pants., and so i was likee can i work out, and he was like uhm no.. i was like can i go back to work? and he was like yeah sure go today...so i've been workin for two wekks now ;)
I have also been selling my artist formally known as FATASS clothes on ebay... I've made like 250 bucks thus far... and saturday b4 lst i took some stuff to te flea market and made like 90 bucks there. Hooray! I thought i would get to use all that on new school clothes... but moving is gonna be like freakishly expensive.

That and my 1000$$$ one bedroom apartment is gonna take some work... sigh.. in ky you could make mansion payments......for a grand... but alas... i need new clothes... i wonder if dc has a naked law? i'll keep my boots on ;)

So for those of you who dont know, I have been teaching a summer school-ish program this week. It is not actual summer school, but an enrichment grant so i have kids whose parentsa works, and some whose parents are teaching summer school themselves. ( SO it's supposed to be fun for them).

I have P-6, all in the course of an afternoon. We've sang silly songs, talked about favorite music, heard the difference in high-low/ loud-soft..ect...

I have no voice left! Holy mother...singers should not teach elementary...

So today we had dancing.

I taught them how to do the classic dance....

Good morning all! According to my computer it is 3:58am..... I am getting ready for work!
Missed me much? even noticed I've been away...lol.
I am a work a-holic..... and I'm poor.. so how this factors out I'll never know...

Anyway how's my life? Uhm what life?

Joey fatone lost on dancing with the stars...which hurt my soul....

I missed my Hiner, evanscence, buckcherry, breaking benjamin, three days grace, chevelle, operator,zztop, ect concert :( I'm a little obsessed with Hinder at this point...everthing they sing  makes me thing eighties big-haired monsted ballad!
But thatis ok b/c I have Nickel Creek with Glenn Philips tickets ;)

I am driving up to Maryland Monday after work :).... meaning I get up at this time work til one pm, then make a 7hr drive...
Is this safe? nope Is this smart? nope Am I poor? DING DING DING

I have been hired to teach a summer school type program for two weeks starting week after next... it pays 20bucks an hour, 30 hours a week... for 100+ elementary schoolers....
this is roughly 1200, so by the time taxes, taxed goods, and then taxed assets... I'll make about .50 cents..

My kitten  successfully had his sex change operation.... but he now has a cold... and let me say giving a kitten amoxacilin is not an easy task.... ok welp...i am about to be late.... lata!
