"I sat in with a group called DUB L.F.O. on Erev Shabbes. It was pretty cool. We were just walking around Ben Yehuda and heard some really tight reggae music playing. Went down an alley and there were like 200 kids rockin' out an hour before Licht Bentching (candle lighting). "

Two Special appearances by Matisyahu

Monday night, October 6, Matisyahu will appear as a special guest with Daniel Zamir at LEVONTIN 7 in Tel Aviv at 8:00 p.m. Aaron Dugan will also be appearing, both with Daniel Zamir, and in his own show at 10:30 p.m.

Tuesday night, October 7, Matisyahu and Aaron Dugan will perform for an intimate crowd at Avrom, 97 Yafo (Jaffa Rd) in Jerusalem.

Please note: These are very low key shows, with EXTREMELY limited seating.These shows will be mainly improvisation. They will be recorded and possibly videotaped, so if you can't get in we hope to share these special nights with you in the near future.

Also Wednesday, October 9, at 9:30 p.m, Aaron Dugan will be returning to Tel Aviv for another show at the Levontin 7.

Blessings for a Good and Sweet Year

Hello to everyone from the Holy land. Spending the high holidays here in Jerusalem to get charged before the upcoming year.
I've been up every night jet lagged and reading everyone's messages. So psyched that everyone is so positive and supportive. Can't wait to see you all this fall on tour. If we're not coming to your city on this tour hang tight and we'll be there at some point this year. We're gonna be on the road for most of it. In terms of new music I spent the last year recording and it's done. EP called shattered is coming out on the 21st of October and the rest sometime this winter.  We're gonna be playin the whole record for everyone after the shows this fall in listening parties where myself and the band will be saying hi to everyone. Also check out the sight matisyahuworld.com we are re-doing it and it should be up in the coming weeks.
