Tonight we will have another wicked birthday-party on Campus...celebrating the 20th birthday of the spanish Nino... The previous parties have been kick-ass fun, so I am hoping that tonight will be FAB as well.
It is so childish as well...Teehee, I convinced someone else to pull down the pants, but she did not pull them down completely: (total nonsense, I know, but those things make the best parties)
Normal life during the abnormal
Current mood: lonely
Life in Liverpool has been exciting, but right now it has become a bit mundane. The rain is pouring out and Autumn has landed with a bang. University needs some attention, and social life is not that entertaining the last couple of days.
Actually, I want to go out tonight. Perhaps I will be invited, or, perhaps I will invite myself. I don't know. Otherwise I can still browse the H&M page at 23.00 for some Cavalli outfits (not that I am a fan of his, but I saw a cute blouse).
I have booked a supercheap flight during the Ryanair.com sales to Malaga. This sunday I might be going, but I am not sure yet...What to do, what to do?
Ooooh, this blog will be one of those blogs that apologises for not being able to update Myspace lately, because the person (I) was so preoccupied with other things. So yeh, I apologise and I have been busy with living in Liverpool etc (blah blah).
Last week was a bit like a (emotional) rollercoaster. My boyfriend and I went to the UK with the campervan in order to have a bit of a holiday, and bringing me to Liverpool in order to part from eachother for the semester (3 months). We saw York, Filey (Scarsbourough), Edinburgh, the peak district...and finally we arrived in Liverpool.
I was not able to get online for an entire week...which is quite long for a self-acclaimed internet addict. But it was allright.
Today I said goodbye to my boyfriend, who went back to Kingston-upon-Hull in order to catch the boat to Rotterdam. I hope everything went well, I will call him tomorrow evening. --> I cried a fair bit. I love him dearly, but I need to study this semester in Liverpool in order to broaden my academic knowledge, improving my English, and experiencing life beyond my small town in the Netherlands.
Liverpool is a cool city! The girls really dress up when going out at night...the shorter the better...teehee. That is really different compared to the more casual style in the Netherlands---> girls do dress up in the Netherlands when going out, but more for going to an exclusive club of a rave...not for going to a pub, which the Liverpudlian girls did...
Next weekend will be some kind of formula 1 race in motorboats...heeeheee...I will take pics for sure...
Next week thursday I will be leaving this small tiny country, and I will head off to the United Kingdom for a semester at the University of Liverpool. Yoohooooo!
Hopefully, I can absorbs some new and important knowledge, and have a good time browsing the English shops as well (Topshop, you guys)
However, this blog post needs some pictures, that is why I will put my latest polyvore over here...a lovely autumnal (is that correct English?) palette
This video is both beautiful and spellbinding, but it also freaks me out a bit (the changing faces.
Another thing that occured me is that the women on film in our modern age show more diversity in their faces: there is not just one type, but several types that can be a filmstar...nice
