ur fucking out!

im in los angeles today, spent the morning playing video games, i just ate a cheese dog. i can't imagine these summer blogs are still interesting to you, i feel like i've been touring forever. i've crossed this country five times in three months. only one more trip across to go.

i've been playing bad company which is kinda awesome. a guy came to my show at the social and he was like everyone at my office loves ur stuff and i was like where do u work and he was like EA. i've been kinda wanting to play bc all summer. why? because you get to blow shit up. meaning you dont just have to take the guy out hiding in the house, you can blow up the whole wall and leave him exposed and prime for the plucking. ai's tight, graphics is tight, story is tight and different except the maps are so huge i can't find any of the gold (ur a soldier gone awol hunting for gold) u most def need treasure maps. unfortch u only get one weapon at a time: a gun and a means of exploding stuff. it's kinda fun to just look out over a hill and call in an airstrike on the buildings and then go down to plunder ammo. sweet game.

im waiting for my friend brian who just finished testing bond for tara. im staying in the bus until i have to restock my merch, it's hot as all get out. oh and i saw clone wars. it wasn't that bad, i did fall asleep tho, so i guess that's all u need to hear. i mean i liked how stylized everything was, how u could see brushstrokes on the characters, making them look like thunderbird marionettes, but i think the main problem is why are we still in the clone wars? it's cool that they framed it with a ww2 like VO kinda like starship troopers, but i dunno, id rather see the yoda chronicles. i think we're all in agreement on one thing: why are we revisiting something we didn't really like in the first place? it's for kids yes, but all of it is. some of us adults like kid stuff, doesn't mean it's ok for it to suck. i still liked it ok, i just didnt get it. amidala had nice boobies, but the nicknames were a little bit too much. skyguy, snips and little stinky. u think kids wont learn and say whatever word u throw at them? not true. u never have to dumb shit down for kids. they're smarter than us.

tomorrow is slo brew then san fran and then reno. fuse called me up and asked me to be on a panel show, i've got all these press requests i'm gonna ignore i think. i hate promoting myself or my album. it's gonna do as good as its gonna do and then i'll make another one. why comment on clockwork?

pax is this week, i hope everyone got their shirts, please check in if u did. i wish i could be there. i made the right choice though i think. this tour is life affirming and it really feels like one of my greatest accomplishments. i feel like i could do anything after this summer.

oh and good news, jj mcdonalds is flying into minnesota for my birthday on september 2nd. i never have good birthdays, at least not in my adult life. now i'm all kinda of stoked. happy happy birthday to meeeee!

east bound and down

in arizona watching kenny versus spenny the octopus episode. they watch k and s on the bus. or looker does. looker's in reggie. i hang out with members of the band, it blows my mind. james and i made a song already on garage band. and frank from my chemical romance would come in and let his chihuahua pee and laugh. all of this is crazy. i can't believe im here. when i'm not blogging it's no biggie. but when i'm blogging, i'm like dear outside world i'm in my hero's castle and he's cool with it!

we just watched a hbo danny mc bride pilot eastbound and down or p.e. they had perrier in the fridge and sydney made me a sandwhich too(she's my personal chef, check her blog link on my myspace prof.) it's been amazing so far. and looks like i gotta drive to tempe now and get there before doors in an hour and fifteen. more details later.

i’m a baby bird.

yesterday might've been one of the best days ever. wake up go to universal meet jake blues at the gate and get in for free, (thanks gameface and company!) then we immediately get on the simpsons ride.

got lots of shit as is to be expected for not liking tropic thunder, dark knight, incredible hulk and iron man so i was feeling kinda detached from the rest of america. either my audience is becoming too conservative or im just too punk rock. that's right i said it. (and if that sentence made you angry you just fell in a tiger trap.)

well let me just say that I LOVED THE SIMPSONS RIDE AND RODE IT TWICE IT'S BETTER THAN THE GAME AND THE MOVIE, ITS THE BEST SIMPSONS THING EVER!!!

see i can like on stuff.

it's set up like krustyland, with a giant krusty head you walk through, and right next to it is a kwik-e-mart filled with flaming moes and buzz colas and everything simpsons including action figures and the original dont have a cow bart shirts. everything is simpsons, like you're really in springfield. (i got a simpson ride hoodie for tour) waiting in cue was awesome, they have original content that's all totally funny and really well written. better than the movie, the game or the tv show.

SPOILERS!!!! sideshow bob has broken out of prison and is back at krustyland seeking revenge. the simpsons go on the ride at gunpoint and right before the ride starts yp bob switches it from thrilling to killing. you get lifted up on hyrdraulics and ur at the top of a huge rollercoaster. its all projected on screen, but it's so much fun and so well done, it's prolly better than a coaster could be, because you can't build all of springfield. but here you fly through krustyland, springfield and even the simpson's home. professor frink catches you at one point with this harpoon thing right before you fall into hell and he flies you through downtown springfield. it rules and it's funny.

you see pretty much everything and when you have high vantage points you can look out over the city and find stuff, like the big donut boy (you fly through the donut later on:) same with krustyland which is really funny. the whole ride is constantly making fun of amusement parks and how ruthless they can be for your dollar, all the while providing questionable food and service. it's pretty heartless and true. don't worry homer says, they won't kill you as long as u have a dime in your pocket.

and when they're aren't showing new animation about sideshow bob or maggie growing fifty feet tall they are showing amusement park clips from the the tv show (in line i mean) and it's all funny and awesome. you basically get to watch best of the simpsons while you wait in line and then the ride is awesome too. in fact i rode it twice. the park was raining and everyone was in ponchos so the waits were both fifteen minutes.

second time i rode in the back on the left and that wasnt a good seat so i rode it again front row in the middle and FUCKING LOVED IT, IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER. the way they send up jurassic park, disney world (little elves in panda land), pirates of the carribean: all awesome. and the ride is fun too. there's even a star wars joke. the title of my blog is the best part of the ride. i took pictures of every single detail btw and will post. riding it twice is the way to go because there's so much shit going on you don't know where to look and there's lots of little hidden stuff to find.

afterwards we went to the comic shop where an artist was signing. the staff got me caught up on secret invasion and then didn't let me pay. secret invasion five was killer and i cant wait to read old logan 2 with a clint long haired and blind, driving the spiderman jeep. maybe the comic event of the year. so good. no new kick ass. but new new avengers, a brand new day is finally over it seems, initiative and new warriors, im looking forward to mystery house 2. the comic shop was so cool to me. thank you guys! here's a link to their store:

after that we went to wallmart to get socks and they had wildbill, barbecue and commando snake eyes. triple yoink! then i got dropped off at the social opened up the door, james was mic checkin, mc chris is in the house, he says. his voice sounds like the drunk guy from album one who spits on the cd. everything he says makes me laugh cuz its like that guy.

you have to understand. james is like jesus and god combined to me so the trick of this tour is not go all fanboy. turns out frank, lead singer of leathermouth is in mychem and i happen to like them quite a bit too. it was thrill to have him come over and say that he was a fan. i kept on asking is that why i'm here, is that why i'm here. turns out i did a show in jersey that had pirates, one of the pirates, hambone, called up james and said mc chris covers you in his show. turns out james had been wanting to get in contact with me for years to tour. gerard way from mychem had tried to get us together because i guess there was time when we both lived in brooklyn in neighboring neighborhoods. so it's unbelievable to know that my hero has been trying to make this happen for a while. i'm so easy to get in contact with sometimes not having managers and labels makes it actually harder for people to get in contact with me because they just dont think that all they gotta do is hit contact on my webpage and it goes directly to my phone. oh well. at least it's happening now.

i got butterflies for my set, because its not totally my audience and there might be some haters or whatever but i knocked it out the park. after i got off stage i met james in the green room and he said, what a hype man! i'm speechless! i should be opening for you, he said. can you believe it? he made mc chris happen, he made me think music could be funny and good at the same time, and now he's speechless?!!!

i was just so happy, the ride, the free comics, my girl i text nonstop, opening up for my favorite band. i could retire tonight to be honest. i dont see how it can better than opening up for reggie and the full effect.

well...

i did have an ace up my sleeve all day. sixty minutes hollered at me. they're filming my september 7th show. that's right. MCCHRIS IS GONNA BE ON 60 MINUTES!!! in a piece on nerd culture and nerdcore. not something i usually want to be associated with, but im not gonna be stupid and say no to the biggest news show on tv. im actually hoping it gets cancelled and i dont mind jinxing it, because i dont want things to get out of hand and definitely dont want people to get sick of me. it'll prolly get edited down to me saying nerds are assholes and then that'll be the end of it. crucifixion.

the bus was awesome, huge bunks and more candies cookies and goodies than hogwarts. eating is the demon this tour. i was gonna eat all healthy and get super slim for my girl, but then anthony the tour manager's mom brought four trays of lasagna. we been playin ninja gaiden all day, got stuck on the flying chrome boss. i've been trying to play this game all summer. quite honestly i'm in heaven. it's my mom's birthday today and i called her up and said, mom im gonna be on sixty minutes, and she replied, my little nerd. happy birthday mom!

can it get any better than this?

REGGIE TOUR STARTS TODAY

the thundercado ran away cuz its a little bitch so the show is on. we're off to the simpsons ride and then the comic shop and then i meet reggie (james.) a big day for me.

i was thinking about this last night, because people have started emailing about the first few years of touring. which begs the question?

tropic blunder: ORLANDO HOLLER AT ME

all quiet on the eastern front. im in orlando, my wonderful girl friday, who runs my facebook and before too long will prolly run my myspiz, picked me up bright and early, although it was cloudy. the flight is was straight out of the john lithgow part in twilight zone the movie. it was like freegin lost. one lady lifted up into the air and got body slammed against the ceiling. well not really but i do think the pilot was steering us through a series of rings like ratchet and clank when clank hanglides. you know what im talking about.

the reggie tour checked in and was relieved to see i had gotten here safely. if you look at the tour, there are gonna be some long ass overnight drives. i had a little trouble sleeping my first night off because i wasnt moving while i slept. i had two flights last night, spent most of the time listening to gil, watching lost boys and starship 3 (both are hard to get through fyi.) i spent most of my time making a mix for jersey. just going through it again again, it was one of those important mix tapes where u kinda want to say a bunch of stuff and everything's really meaningful. it's mostly songs from the fifties. they seemed to have falling in love on lock down.

i upgraded to first class for my flight from miami and to orlando. fell asleep immediately (it was 7am) and then we landed. that one hr made me really sleepy so as soon as i got to my hotel i slept for 8 hrs. like a vampire bear!

now i'm here and we didn't go to universal because of the thundercane. i didn't do sixflags either. i saw tropic thunder. which suckt. sorry. i know i don't love things everybody loves anymore and it prolly isn't good for business or social relations, but fuck it. that movie sucked, robert downey junior's character just made me feel kinda wrong. but then again every character did. it was a hodgepodge of types and nobody was real except for maybe the undeclared kid. his character seemed grounded and i was kinda like thank god someone has a brain in this script.

unfortch nothin was remotely funny to me, except jack black. not the fart stuff but his coming off of heroin stuff. jack black is still awesome. and he can still be a movie's saving grace. and the reason why is that i think he's just still a really funny guy and always will be. he'll be better than the material every time (see king kong) we may not all think so anymore. but he's still who he is, even with a pointless bleach blonde hair do that was as wtf as the rest of the pic.

and fyi if you want to dismiss fat suit humor and say that ur better than that, first off be funnier than the nutty professor (which is wasnt) and then dont end the movie with tom cruise in a fat suit trying to dance. cruise can't a: dance b: act. all of his parts made me feel sorry for the movie because his schtick fell on deaf ears. not even a chortle. not funny. i repeat not funny. black face though, thankfully will always be funny to americans because we enslaved so many black people way back when. it's how we deal with it. our solution is to make it worse. way to go jews. u really got everyone's number this round. including the gays and retards too. multi-zing!

my host in LA was my awesome friend tara. she was in the pink panther two trailer in the boxfoffice. she was the girl that was funnier than steve martin. when she's not being beautiful on the big screen, she actually recruits people in LA to test video games. she's currently testing call of duty 5 and is having a hell of a time getting good testers. which seems crazy to me. she's doing guitar hero 4 and quantum of solace, the new james bond. if you live in LA and you want to test games. let her know. how do u get in contact?

last day of warped tour: super uncle

my set is at 4:35 then katy perry's signing is 5'ish. so the babies will miss my signing i think. it's gonna be a stretch but our tents are close thank god. im about to go buy two kaTy perry canvas bags for them, maybe fill them with cd's and stuff. i kinda like automatic loveletter too. i wanted to hear them yesterday and i couldnt get online, and then they went on stage outside my bus, i just had to open the door and there she was wounded, hand over heart, her voice almost dead to the world.

today is the last day. i stopped by against me and ava's tent to get merch. ava has a dope star wars one. i want the starwars guy to do something for me. it's on the bucket list. i paid for an against me hoodie and got the ava for free. they want me to join their modlife website that tom owns. i guess tom has been a big supporter from afar this tour. i onLy hear it second hand, but i guess he and his wife listen to the CD i gave him repeatedly and he told a fan wearing my shirt during an ava signing to skip his set and go see mine. what more could ask of warped tour.

i'm gonna miss everyone but it will be good see family and get my merch/shipping figured out. there are lots of fans here that want to help so i'm calm and not worried.

warped has been hell, i won't deny, and i think i prolly slept through the best parts, like kevin lyman and fat mike storming onto shwayze's bus and turning it into a dance party. when i heard about fat mike showing up and everyone crowding around him, it just made me think that we all want it to be the nineties, when the music was better.

i talked with gil in line yesterday, he was off to LA to make some music and relax. they had a mini tour coming up and then they really wanted to finish their new album have it out by thanksgiving. seems like they might be too busy i can't tell. i think totally michael is totally down though. so we'll see.

im ready to holler at six flags in the morning and get the low down on the x2. thanks for the warning on it being broken. i'll take pics as always (please dont be a creeper and stalk me, it's my day off!)
