I read to her cards of white, pink and red...
trying to quiet the sobbing in my head...
on this day when cupid takes flight...
I quietly beg her to keep up the fight...
showing her pictures to remind her of home...
it pains me to leave her there, scared and alone...
she gasps for breath to speak to me too...
I said to her shhhh, I already knew...
I sit by her death bed...
one thing left to be said...
I whisper "I love you" and place a kiss upon her head...
I miss you Nanny...RIP.

I watch her caress him…

awe inspiring boldness…
her beauty, her insight...
I'm enchanted by their dance…
the very essence of passion…
The Mistress now stirs…
I do love dancing in this fashion…
Can Love transcend color…
Can you see the real me…
What about time, distance, gender…
Is there room here for three…

One wiggles and jumps…
One glides on smooth…
One comes in many flavors…
One has texture that soothes…
One is great spread on toast…
The other a banana…or two…
But bring them together…
Instant comfort food…
They are a mouth watering combination…
This perfectly matched pair …
Just make sure not to get them stuck in you hair…
