Back from Phoenix....

Hello everyone! 

Well I just got back from Phoenix....HOT phoenix... LOL... Naw it wasn't that bad if 114 degree weather doesn't bother you...But it was a DRY heat... and I rather be hot and dry then hot and wet...(Well it depends on the Hot and Wet..but that's another story...)

I went to phoenix to see my best friend graduate and get her MBA in Buisness Administration...  Congrats Sheila!

Anyway we decided to stay down there for a week.. and I also have another friend who lives down there who i got to see..  We didn 't have time to go to the Grand Canyon which would have taken 4-5 hour drive..  So we drove to Sedona which i call Red Rock...

Anyway i had a good time...and now I need another vacation from the vacation i just had because I'm tired...  My body just couldn't get adjusted to the time difference.. So now I need a vacation where I just sleep...

Anyway you can check out some pictures in my pic section and i know some of you might think the pictures are just about a bunch of rocks...but they are not! Driving through and seeing the mountains up close makes you appreciate the beauty... Because if it was just a bunch of rocks man wouldn't still be carving it's way through them just to get the view!

Hip-Hop and You Don't Stop . . .

Since the whole Don Imus fallout Hip Hop has taken the blame for today's whoa's and black people in general....Although some of the blame is very deserved from the booty shaking video's, the misogynistic lyrics toward women peroid!  And gansta life style that brings money, cash, hoes and being shot 50 times the excepted reality... 

I am old enough to have grown up with Hip hop and seen it's transformation...Once the corporations got a hold of it and anybody else who could make a ton of cash in exploiting it we knew it would take a turn...for the better or worst it still needs to be seen..

Unfortunately It seems that's all the younger people know about Hip Hop which is only a small portion...Or C-rap as some people call it...For those of you who didn't know Hip Hop turned 30 and is dead...just ask Nas..

But I think of Hip Hop, just as life it has to go through it's trials and tribulations...For how else will it learn from it's mistakes..

Ties: Chapter II Siblings

Chapter II Siblings

 At age five Raquel knew she was special.  She was athletic, could sing and dance, and tested for having a high I.Q..  Also she was downright pretty and charming.  Her parents, teachers and family members all gave her special attention.  Although her siblings were jealous of her at times, even they couldn't resist her charms.  The oldest of the tribe was Lana Johnson; at age 37, with four kids and married to a Basketball Superstar.  Lana always held herself high above any one else, in other words she was bourgie ghetto, straight up!  Always in someone's business but her own, no wonder we couldn't get along.  Lana is lighter skinned complected, with long brown hair that came to the middle of her back.  At the height of 5'9'', a body she tries to remain at a size 8.  But after having four kids, you couldn't tell her that she needed to try wearing a size 12.

      Under Lana is Jasmine Ray; at age 35, married at age 25 and divorced about 10 days later, because she said " She didn't like it much."  But kept his last name because she like the way it sounded! Now ain't that a bitch.  She is in the entertainment business herself.  Starred in a television series called Heavens Keep, that ran for five years during the late 80's and part of the early 90's.  After Heavens Keep went off the air, she starred in some low budget films, but never could get past her image as the innocent black girl.  Like a black girl can't be nice and innocent.  Jasmine is about the same complexion as Lana, short; about 5'5", studied dance and the theater at Julliard. Jasmine is real talented; I just wish Hollywood could give her a break.

       Katina Cantrell (Tina for short) is 34.  Everyone mistakes us for twins, because we look that much alike; in size, and skin complexion, even though Tina is 10 months older than me.  The only difference is Tina's hair color; she either goes from extreme blond to bloody red.  She is my closet's sister and partner in crime.  Also in the entertainment business, I guess you can call our family another Jackson Five.  She is my drummer in my band, but behind the scenes we orchestrate one of the top production companies in the business, Rogue Studios.  Tina would have been the first choice as heir, but because her eyes are light green, and not the emerald green that is needed, it was passed to me.  We will get to that story later; it's an old myth that goes with our family history.

    Since I am the middle child, I have two sisters and a brother under me.  Born Deandra Cicone, Dee as the family calls her, but people know her as Asia.  Asia has a 7 octave voice, has single handily taken over the music charts in the 90's, and is the reigning Queen of Pop.  She is also another sister I can't get along with.  Dee is 31, height 5'10'', she is the same complexion as Lana & Jasmine.  Dee was born with light brown hair, but with a little help from Paul Mitchell, she is a dark blond.  Dee also has a problem that no one in our family wants to admit, she is a Stank Hoe!   She dresses like one and acts like one, and this wasn't always so. She started out as a mature, well-respected singer, but once she got married to her ex- husband the producer. I believed he turned her out in some way.  I know you think that I am downing her, but I am just telling the truth.  Dee is beautiful and talented as a singer, but I always thought of her as off. Because she does stuff that is erratic and she has this far off stare that she get's sometimes.

       Born Yvonne Cicone, she is our baby sister.  Yvonne also gave herself a stage name, 'Jordan Hall'.  She is one of the top black actresses in Hollywood and part of the reigning ex-Beauty Queen's.  Yvonne is my complexion, age 30, and height 5'7''.  Yvonne is on her second marriage, knock on wood.  To a brotha named Derek Shaw, who is a computer science engineer (boring).  He is good looking, but I question my sister sometimes in picking men.  She usually goes for guys who are attractive and abusive.  Maybe that's why she picked Derek, because of what he did for a living, not another actor or model that was Livin La Vida Loca.  Yvonne also has problems with low self-esteem, even though she is beautiful to the eye.  She is always questioning her self worth.  Hopefully she has made the right choice in Derek, he seems nice, but you can never tell a sheep in wolf's clothing.

     Finally we come to my half brother Christopher Cicone.  Christopher is 21 years old and he looks just like my father. Bronzed skin, emerald green eyes and the height of 6'4''.  How can I put this, if my mother wasn't as strong as she is, she would had killed my father a long time ago.  My father had an affair with his mistress named Jessica Smith, which my mother knew about.  What my mother didn't know is that my father had gotten his mistress 4 months pregnant. Jessica decided to have the baby, thinking he would leave my mother.  Jessica didn't know my father to well, because he left her and pregnant with child.  He told Jessica, "If she was going to keep this baby, he wanted no part of her or child."   Five months later Jessica delivered a baby boy and gave him my fathers name Christopher Aaron Cicone.  Jessica also decided that she didn't want the child after all. So on a breezy summer night she dropped Christopher off on our front porch and left a note to my mother saying, " Here is the son you couldn't have." It was an end of a marriage.  It resulted in a fistfight between my parents, my mother burning my father's clothes and kicking him out the house.  Jessica was never heard from again.  I'm afraid to say, "That my father might have had something to do with her disappearance."  I know one thing; I would have never thought my mom would take in Christopher.  I asked her once "Why did she do it?"  she just replied, "Because he is blood", and she left it at that.

    As you can see I think all of our family needs to go to dysfunctional anonymous. We have so many problems, that we do not want to admit them to ourselves, so that we can try and resolve and heal.  Everyone one of us was born a Cicone. And everyone changed it in some way; to avoid it's dreaded history the name belongs to.

Hello everyone......

Yeah I know you saw me post another story(Ties), but you have questions on why i didn't post a chapter for Panurion.

I haven't forgotten Panurion it's just on the back burner for now, I have to really finish up another story first.   So I want to say I'm sorry for those who were waiting to read more about Panurion.

As for Ties it's a story I did about 5 years ago, so since I have not been updating regularly I thought I would post this story and see how you like it.

7:30 a.m.

            Sitting on the porch, Raquel is listening to the sounds of early morning, kids going to school and lawns being mowed.  It was the first in a long time that Raquel had time to herself and just relax, normal stuff that regular people get to do everyday.  You see Raquel is a very famous person; this singer/actress is too busy to enjoy life's normal joys.  Between traveling, time spent on movie sets or laying down recording tracks, Raquel is too busy to have a life.  While enjoying this peace she has been wanting for a long time, she reminisces of her past life, the life she ran away from. Knowing that is impossible to do, because people recognized her in every store, hotel or walking down the street.

 Raquel a.k.a. Rocki Cantrell age 32, but still can pass for 25, with brown taffy skin, height of 5'11 and green emerald eyes that she got curtousy of her father.  Raquel's mother Lena Cantrell is African-American, while her father Michael Cicone is Sicilian; along with five other siblings all girls, except for a half brother.  Raquel the middle child was born and raised in Chicago's middle class on the South Side.  Recently she thought of why her life was filled with such loneliness & sadness, a feeling that has had her in turmoil for over four years. 

Raquel made that sound of frustration of breathing air through her mouth, as it moved her short stylished Mary Jane hairstyle up on her head.  While jumping out of the chair, she decides to make a home-style breakfast her mom used to make when she was little.  Just smelling the bacon and the grits wafting through her head made her smile, walking through her large colonial kitchen that she loved.  That's what made her buy the house in the Marina Del Ray area of Los Angeles.  Plus it was a bargain because the previous owner had some back taxes he had to pay to the IRS. Starting with 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a family room and office space.  It might be considered small for a person of Rocki's fame but it was comfortable enough for her. Of course the pool was beautiful also, and enough enclosed space to warn off intruders, she called it home. 

While preparing her breakfast the telephone rang.  At first she thought it was her agent, and then she thought again, telling her agent she was through with working for awhile. Now her mind was really wondering, because the only people who called this early were her family.  As the ringing was starting on it's fifth she pick the phone up. 

"Hello Rocki?! I have some bad news."  At first she didn't recognize the voice because it was so low, but then the voice spoke up.

"Your father just died." It was her mother.  Time just stood still for those seconds she heard the word 'died'. 

My dad who I thought was indestructible, my dad who used to sit me on his lap when I was five in his office going over his work and teaching me the so called "Business".  My dad the son of a bitch that I hated and also loved. 

"Rocki! Rocki! Are you hearing me?"  My mother is screaming through the phone, "Yeah I hear you Mom.  How did he die?"  My mom in the conspirators voice she uses when she is telling dirt on someone, "You better come home, I rather not say on the phone, and don't believe what the newspapers say". 

I suddenly snapped and cursed at my mom, "Will you stop acting like a goddamn Entertainment Tonight reporter and tell me what happened!" 

"Oh no miss Rocki! Are they cursing their mama's out, out there in Marina Del Ray?" "Just bring your ass home! It's time."  Click was the sound of the phone hung up by her mother and the dial tone was the sound of death. 

Raquel finally got herself together and hung up the phone.  Her world has just gone from loneliness and sadness to dread and sadness.  She knew that this day was coming, knew the family she was born into, the heir to the family "Business."  Her eyes alone made that clear when she was born and now on a single word, the ties that bonded her to her family were devastating.

Panurion: The Kelyn Wars-Character Sheet

Main Characters

Alien Visitors:

Ship: The Grim Charity

• Cargo ship that handles items on the black market.  The ship takes the back lanes to avoid the official port lane authorities.

Captain: Ego Selarh

• Commander and owner of the Grim Charity for 10 years.  He is a willful man with deep set grey eyes that are like two pools of mercury.  He has a short spiky Mohawk.  Ego height is around 6'2" with a medium build and brown skin.  His wardrobe is attractive and strange.

Second in command: Lt. Paris Bodah

• This wordy woman puts you in mind of a bolt of lightening.  She has droopy coffee colored eyes.  Her fine curly hair is cropped short.  Paris is very short around 5'4" and has a muscular build.  Her skin is light-colored and her wardrobe is practical.

Engineer/Mechanic: Marco Keros

• Has worked on the ship for 5 years.  He keeps the Grim Charity moving with ease.  Marco wears dreads and has brown eyes and chocolate-brown skin. His height is around 6'4" and has a muscular build.  Marco wardrobe is mostly of leather and keeps a Rayknife on his persons.

Communications: Ginger LeFur (her brother is the Medic)

• This playful cat girl has slitted yellow eyes.  She has waist-length, wavy, orange hair worn in a cute style.  Her fur is orange with white streaks on her ears and tail.  She has a wasp-waisted build.  Her tail is long, thick and carried straight.  Her fashion preferences are best described as "Pin-up model".  She loves to find out more about other people.

Medic: Sam LeFur (his sister is the communications expert)

• Unlike his sister who is more playful, Sam is more serious and takes his job as a medic on board the ship as such.  This willful catguy has hooded green eyes.  He has short, silky, curly, yellow hair worn in a practical style.  His fur is yellow with brown stripes on his ear and tail.  He has a masculine build.  His ears are down turned and rounded.  Sam's tail is long, thick and carried straight.  He usually wears jeans and a T-shirt.

Cargo/Weapons Handler: Tirgeng (Gen for short)

• Tirgeng is half Elf and is a complete jerk, but intelligent warrior.  This adventurer is quietly hiding the pain of a terrible tragedy.  His chocolate-colored hair is worn in dreadlocks.  His eyes are like two setting suns.  His clothes are a mixture between jeans and leather that suits his athletic build.  He has a tribal Elf tattoo around his left eye.

Ceofen Government: Kingdom of Celestial Seas

Hierarchy: King Amor and Queen Amilia

Military:

• Cavalry Aerial: The Seige Snipers- Ceofens riding magical gliders armed with Electrowhips and Blowriffles.  This unit is mainly used for siege warfare.
• Cavalry Aquatic: The Stealth Bashers- Ceofens using spells to breathe underwater, riding sea dragons.  Armed with Nettrapper and Vibrotracker.  This unit is mainly used for patrolling and reconnaissance.
• Infantry Ground: The Shield Shooters- Ceofens armed with Mindtaser and Cutrod.  This unit is mainly used for defensive operations.

Main Characters helping to find Kelyn's Fire on the Ceofen side:

• Dagger: A magical knight with slanted red eyes, white hair worn in a military-style. He is tall around 6'6" and has a muscular build. Dagger has light powers that are activated by chants. He is general for the Ceofen military.  His armor is like a second skin and camouflages to the changing rotation on Panurion.
• Soei: This confident magical girl's deep-set eyes are the color of bleached bone. Her neck-length, curly, silky hair is the color of blooming violets, and is worn in a practical style. She has a leggy build. She has technology powers that are invoked by sheer willpower. Her artistic, odd costume is mostly blue and gray.
• Wandfoot: This race evolved in a rainforest.  The race has small eyes, barbed ears, a powerful nose, a large mouth, and yellow leathery skin.  The race also possesses postcognition.  Mentally, the race has noteable common sense and amazing adaptability.

Delkolms Government: Kingdom of Golden Sands

Hierarchy: King Naju

Military:

• Infantry: The Death Troops – Called Dragon-Men, Delkolms armed with Painscythe and Blowblaster pistols. This unit is mainly used for assassinations.
• Calvary: The Patrolling Seekers - Delkolms, armed with Lashchopper. This unit is mainly used for patrolling and reconnaissance.
• Infantry: The Crushing Claws – Called Bird-Men, Delkolms armed with Stundriller and Toxic Bomb. This unit is mainly used for siege warfare and defensive operations.

Main Characters helping to find Kelyn's Fire on the Delkolm side:

• Garith Afnar: This man puts you in mind of a glorious phoenix. He has wide eyes the color of an overcast sky. His luxurious, curly, black hair is worn cropped close to his head. He has a graceful build. His skin is chocolate-brown. His wardrobe is mysterious. This mysterious wizard who is on the run from the law of King Naju and who guides the others on their quest.
• Cloremel: This unremarkable warlock is spurred onward by curiosity.  His skin is pale considering he lives in a warm sunny climate, with a slim build and eyes the color grey. People not knowing the real reason he is on this mission he keeps to himself. He uses elemental magic in his schemes.
• Banjo Lich: This is a wolf-like race whose initial environment is the mountains on Antorul.  The race has stalk-mounted ears and thick skin.  Mentally, the race has handicapped cleverness and exceptional memory.
• Dreta: This spiritual girl has round green eyes. Her silky, curly, black hair is long and is worn in a practical style. She is very short and has an amazonian build. Her skin is tannish. She has a crooked nose. Her wardrobe is elegant and strange, with a mostly yellow and orange color scheme.

About Panurion: The Kelyn Wars

Hi everyone!

One of my friends was thinking about writing a fantasy.  I have never wrote a fantasy but an idea came to me the other night and it was still there when I woke up in the morning so I had to get it out of my head.  It might sound Sci-fi but will be fantasy or maybe a cross.  Let me know what you guys think so far, I just put an outline out but I still need to get this first chapter out of my head.   I came up with how the planet looks and I have ideas for maps and how the terrain looks and it's inhabitants.  I should have the 1st chapter up soon.

So here comes my other problem can some one please tell me how to post pictures in this damn blog!   Everytime I try to post pictures they do not show up, so if anybody can help me I will appreciate it.  Thanks

Panurion: The Kelyn Wars

Galaxy: Messier 77 or M77 (Spiral Galaxy)

Planet: Panurion

Number of Suns: 1

Number of Moons: 4

Panurion Planet Description:

The Panurion Planet sits diagonally and has 2 different sides with a close ring around its middle that looks like it is seperating the planet.  The one side of Panurion is blue in color and is called Aquius and the other side of Panurion is reddish brown in color and is called Antorul.  Panurion has 4 moons that are also diagonal from each other.

Moons:

• The moons rotate every 8hrs in 3 positions.
• The 1^st 8hr rotation the moons sit diagonally from each other.
• The 2^nd 8hr rotation the moons come together and eclipse each other.  While in this state the planet changes and becomes whole, changing its color to a blue, green and brown state with no divide.
• The 3^rd 8hr rotation the moons move back into a diagonal position, once again dividing the planet back to its one side blue and one side reddish brown color.

Aquius:

• Aquius: Has a lighter air mass but because of the four moons it keeps the gravity of the Panurion planet steady.  Aquius is comprised of water, lush plant life and tropical storms. The inhabitants of Aquius are Ceofens.
• Ceofens: Because Aquius air mass is lighter the Ceofen people over generations have genetically change to fit the Aquius atmosphere.  The Ceofen are slim and tall that enables them to move at fast speeds.
• Food: The Ceofens diet consist of polyam fruit, whey rice, telemar greens and other fruits & vegetables that grow on Aquius.
• Minerals: Aquius minerals consist of silver, platinum, diamonds and some iron.
• Government: The Ceofens have a royal hierarchy that consist of a King and Queen.  The King and Queen are Amor & Amilia Norosa.
• Because of the lush life on Aquius the people live a rather easy life.

Antorul:

• Antorul: Has a denser air mass its terrain is rocky, sandier and has volcanic activity.  The people who inhabit Antorul are Delkolms.
• Delkolms: Because the air is denser the Delkolms people over generations have genetically change to fit the Antorul atmosphere.  The Delkolms are heavier in body mass and come in various sizes and range in heights.  Because of Antorul rocky terrain the Delkolms have enormous strength.
• Food: The Delkolm diet consist of merry yams, fire berry's, sand grass, beans and meat that come from the prong-horn antelopes who graze near the mountains.
• Minerals: Antorul minerals consist of iron, adiantum, diamonds
• Government: The Delkolms have a royal hierarchy, as of the moment the King resides as ruler.  The ruler of Antorul is King Naju.
• Because of the rocky terrain on Antorul the people live a harsh but proud life. 

The people of Panurion are not sure if the planet has always been divided.  They only know what's been told in stories handed down by generations; that the planet was whole once such as when the eclipse comes into affect and did not change back divided when the eclipse past. 

Panurion was once a place of peace and prosperity amongst its people until its heart was taken and tore a rift in the planet to make Panurion a divided planet. Both sides blame one another for taking the heart away from Panurion. When the heart of Panurion the Kelyn Fire is returned the planet will return whole, but can the Panurion people over come this divide?  Because when the battles begin and blood is spilled can the people of Panurion overcome the Kelyn Wars!

The Pennings of Aminah!

Hello Everyone! 

Some of the stories I posted are my earlier writings about 4 years ago.  I stopped and now I am taking it up again.  You can tell how I progressed in each story and I am still learning and I hope that you guys comments will help in that progress. 

I am now in the process of writing a crime fiction my first one and it's a full length story.  I have gotten some positive feedback on it so far so I'm excited about that.
