post the jack daniel’s best rock band award, we are in nashville from tomorrow [ sponsored by jack daniel’s ] for the legendary mash festival.
it’s more of a chilled out trip with whiskey tasting sessions, distillery tours in lynchburg and dinner with the awesome back rebel motorcycle club thrown in.
april 12 [saturday evening], there will be an open stage in lynchburg and we hope to showcase a couple of our songs.

i am sure most of you were aware of this. but wanted to officially confirm once i had everything in place. now with the approved visas and paperwork, we are confirming the american tour.
it started off with an official showcase last march at south by south west [ sxsw ] in austin, texas. the first performance till date by any rock band from india.
this time around, we'll not just be confined to austin but will be doing a seven city regional texas tour. we, unfortunately, had to cancel some of the billed shows in new york because of immigration paperwork issues.
the tour starts from houston on march 1 and will move on to san antonio, san marcos, austin, denton, fort worth and finally dallas.
venues and show timings are still being finalised but i can give you a tentative schedule. the tour, promoted by dart music international, was to showcase three international bands -- menwhopause; 127, the underground rockers from iran [ http://www.myspace.com/127band ]; and stuka, garage rockers from the main industrial center of pancevo in serbia [ http://www.myspace.com/stukaserbia ]. however, stuka had to pull out because of visa issues.
instead, now we have hypernova, yet another pioneer of the underground counter-culture movement in iran, who've come forward to fill the vacant slot [ http://www.myspace.com/hypernovamusic ].
we can also confirm the participation of two more international acts at our gig at friends in austin on march 11 -- lily electric from denmark [ http://www.myspace.com/lilyelectric ] and the victorian english gentleman's club from the united kingdom [ http://www.myspace.com/thevictorianenglishgentlemensclub ]. a couple more international bands are lined up for the tour, depending on their schedule and visa status.
