Austin Reggae Festival (formerly Marleyfest) 4:20 weekend!!!

2008 Austin Reggae Festival at Auditorium Shores,
Saturday April 19th and Sunday April 20th (420)
from 12noon until 10pm.

C'mon out and celebrate the beautiful weather at this way-too-fun music event down on the shores.

Remember to wander the grounds and come visit me- I'm in my regular spot by the fountain, under a tree in the shade over on the hooters side of the grounds near the parking lot.
Look for the Jolly Roger flag on the fence behind me.

I've been busy jammin on new stuff made especially for this festival- so come by early to get the best picks.

Today I will be in SOUTH AUSTIN for all y'all who wanted special notice of when i'm down there- this would be it. ;)

I'll be at Kerby Lane on South Lamar from 9:30am until about 2:30 or 3pm.
C'mon out and get some of the new stuff while the gettin is good.

I could really use the sales at the moment, too, as I just had to have some major emergency car repair done and am in a bit of a panic about how to pay it off.
((sigh)) life is just damned expensive.

December 1st Thursday + weekend schedule

It's that time again. Xmas shopping. I can't believe there are still people who even go to the malls to "do the deed" especially in Austin where there are so many other, better, local shopping events.
Speaking of-
tonite, DEC. 6th, is FIRST THURSDAY on South Congress and once again I will be in my regular spot in the lot next to Homeslice pizza (across SoCo from Guero's) on the NE corner of Elizabeth and South Congress from 6pm-10:30pm. The weather is supposed to be pretty darn nice so come on out and stock up on handcrafted goodness for the lucky folks on your shopping list.

It's the big one tomorrow-

at Austin Convention Center 4p-10p

Handmade Revolution. Fashion Show and Guerilla Craft Bazaar.
This is where all the truly hip folk will be at tomorrow. I'm going with extra cash this year- it is some fine shopping for some of the coolest non-mainstream designs. I'm lucky to be cool enough to do this show. There is no other show I do that is quite like it.
I think the runway is around 8p or 9p- but it runs all day with different bits of entertainment on stage throughout- oh and drinks- and it's sponsored by Carlo Rossi himself. ;)

and Sunday- if I'm able to move after Stitch, I'll be at Kerby Lane NW183 (at mcneil/spicewood)
from 9am (ish) until 3pm.

The best choices will get sucked up at Stitch (and trust me- i've been making special "stitch styles" for a few weeks. This is the A line stuff- i mean it.)
SO..why not just GO TO STITCH!!!
I'm in booth 103 it's on a corner far left from the stage.

I'm amping up for the STITCH 2007 show- my biggest of the year on Sat. Nov. 10th at the Austin Convention Center (spot 103) (Stitchaustin.com)....
So my selection right now is some of the best I've made all year and I've made to abundance. My hopes are to move huge chunks of my fancier more original cuff designs into different boutiques to multiply my availability by leaps and bounds. So hopefully soon I'll be available in boutiques in more cities than just Austin. (chicago?? New york?? dare I even think.....L.A.??)
I'm working on it. Big things are coming.
