Speaking of unforgettable , my trip to Kuwait was amazing.
When they asked me to be a part of this amazing event, I didn’t even have to think for a second before saying YES! Even though I didn’t know what to expect and how things will be…
After arriving in Kuwait and getting to the military base, I was ready for anything. The energy was over the top. The soldiers were inspiring and there was no time to feel tired after an 20 something hour flight… so after dropping our luggage off in our rooms, we went straight to the training section with the guys from Disturbed and Filter. It was great to get first hand training from the military… so I got to shoot some guns and feel really cool for a few minutes , even though there was no bullets ;)
After that we had lunch with the troops and got to check out the place. The food was really good! And seeing all our men and woman sit there with their guns on their shoulder was just great!
The thing that touched me the most was seeing the situation and how humble everyone was. Every single person I met there was thanking us for doing this show… even though we are the ones who should be thanking them for everything they are doing…
The night rolled around pretty fast, I guess I was having too much fun hanging out with the soldiers … next thing I knew it was almost 3am and we were still hanging out taking pictures, posing with guns, laughing and hearing great stories from them. So I finally went to bed around 4:30 am and thought to myself that I will be sleeping till noon and will get enough rest before the big show, well I was very wrong! Hahaha
At 6am I woke up with the fire alarm going off, I won’t go into details of how that happened, but it was crazy ! Next thing I know, a soldier came to my room and asked if we wanted to go on a helicopter ride in 30 minutes! I was like, FUCK YEAH …. So we got ready soo fast that I only got a chance to brush my teeth and run out. When we got there they gave us the details of things to do and not to and we were ready to go. Now I am scared of flying but man this was soo fun I will do it again any time.
After our ride, we went straight to getting the show started…
Once the show went live, the energy went back up a thousand time and the excitement was crazy… I have to thank all of you who tuned in and supported us and the troops . The show was amazing, the bands were awesome, the troops were happy and there was nothing stopping us! At the end I could not stop crying . All emotions were running wild… the thought of our journey coming to an end and time to go back home made me very sad. Leaving was not easy. I wanted to stay and hang out with everyone more. Looking at our men and woman in the crowd and what they go through for all of us , was soo emotional.
I want to thank everyone that was involved and made this show happen. I want to thank MySpace for giving me the honor of being a part of this amazing event. And I want to send my love to all our troops and thank them for being soo sweet and welcoming.
If I ever get asked to do this again, I will do it in a heartbeat.
After the show, we packed fast and drove another 2 hours back to the airport . This trip changed us all. You have to remember, this was not about being for or against the war, this show was strictly for the troops….

I just want to thank you all for being there for me and supporting what I am doing . This means a lot to me and I am thankful for all the love .
The past 3 years has been a hell of a ride for me. I met new bands, new friends, new Metalheads, and a ton of people that just fucking kick major ass !!!
I been working very very hard to get you guys the video's and informations about the Metal world. Its not as easy as you think it may be, but fuck its worth all the trouble !!! There has been a few times that I thought of giving up , but I didn't and I owe THAT to you guys !
I may have a some haters , but I have way more people that support me then the ones who don't like me and that just makes me happy to be doing everything and working as hard as I can to bring you the best shows that I can and connect you to some of your favorite bands.
Like I said before, I will say it again ... I AM A FAN JUST LIKE YOU! and I am honored to have the respect that you guys give me .
WE WILL ROCK THE FUCKING WORLD ! METAL IS A LIFESTYLE!!!! AND WE ARE HERE TO SHOW HOW MUCH IT MATTERS TO US .
