It was at the top of my Flickr stats, and half the links came from Google. So i image searched for "murdered out" figuring it might show up there. But it didn't. Then i clicked over to the regular Google results page, and was surprised to see it right there on the first page.
Find Make 80 minutes to watch Randy Pausch’s lecture on time management. He declares time is the only commodity that matters. I’d say it’s worth a little over an hour to listen to his advice. Some of it is academic- and office-related, but the concepts can be applied elsewhere.
Almost everyone i know suffers from "time famine"—i’m terrible at managing my own time and not having enough of it to do what i want and need to do every day. And i’m never going to get back that wasted time; the only thing i can do is make better use of my time going forward. The professor covers all kinds of time management tips, providing plenty of great stories, statistics, and examples. Jump to 12:00 past the introductions right to the speaker.
FirstShowing.net explains why Robert Neville in I Am Legend was legendary: he was the last man on Earth and he hunted vampires. Put yourself in the vampires’ shoes and he is the antagonist—the myth, the legend. I never thought of it that way. The included clip of the alternate original comes closer to illustrating the concept. I’m more interested in reading the book now—the film’s theatrical release didn’t portray that concept flip. Or if it did, i didn’t get it.
My Canon PowerShot SD400 digital camera is dead. I did everything in my power to revive it. But nothing i tried would bring it back.
It mysteriously stopped working two days ago, and tonight's exploratory surgery revealed no problems or signs of trauma other than a very dusty interior.
I may research into possible causes and fixes; but i might just start looking for a new camera. Unfortunately, i probably won't be able to afford one any time soon. So much for my perfect record this year—only three weeks in, and i've already missed a day taking a picture. I'll have to figure out some way to get shooting again as soon as possible.
