Who were the Jesus People - Remembering the Jesus Movement-The Jesus Revolution

The Jesus movement was restorationist in theology, seeking to return to the original life of the early Christians. As a result, Jesus people often viewed mainline denominations, especially those in the United States, as apostate, and took a decidedly anti-American political stance in general. The theology of the Jesus movement also called for a return to asceticism. Also, the Jesus people had a strong belief in miracles, signs and wonders, faith healing, spiritual possession and exorcism. The movement tended towards strong evangelism and millennialism. The group's theology rejected the excluded middle. What they lacked in theological depth, Jesus people made up for in zeal for Christ and love of others. They strived for social justice and seemed to simply be in love with Jesus.

 I was one of the many people that were awakened to Christ during 70s Jesus Revolution. Where local houses and homes became places of daily worship and fellowship. Taking the message of Christ Love for all to the streets and the parks and the ocean was an ongoing event of great joy and demonstration of the power of Gods Love. The history books say what we lacked in theological depth, we, made up for in zeal for Christ and love of others (the letter kills, the Spirit gives life) God can do a lot with a little if He has it all. Zeal and Love are my roots and basic foundation. I feel most honored to be a part of what God is doing all over the world. The Levites were singers and musicians chosen by God to minister and worship the Lord. To usher the people of God into the gates of what He (God) was doing for that time and for that day. There is now ,theological depth, but if I had a choice of Depth or Love for others and Zeal for Christ, guess which one I would choose

How Do I Become a Christian?

1. Know that God loves you. Gods love is a real kind of love that does something wonderful for us. When God saw man's hopeless, desperate sinful condition, he decided to help man. He lovingly gave His only Son to die and be crucified for us on Calvary. Even though Jesus was innocent, He paid the price for our salvation. John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten, Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

2. Know that all have sinned. Everyone has committed at least one sin and that makes us all sinners. We all stand guilty before God. Rom 3:23

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

3. Repent for your sins. Jesus often started his sermons with the theme of repentance.

4. Know that Jesus Christ is the only way. There are people that teach that there are different ways to God and Heaven. This is not true. Jesus said that He is the only way. John 14:6

"I am the way the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Jesus is the only bridge between God and man.

5. Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior today. By inviting Jesus to come into your life today, all your sins will be forgiven, because Jesus will cleanse you from all sin with His precious Blood. God the Father will accept you as His own. God brings salvation and everlasting life. Spiritual growth is then developed by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Please make this decision now and pray this prayer: Dear Jesus, I invite you to come into my life right now. Please forgive all my sins and cleanse me with your precious Blood. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Dear Jesus reveal Yourself to me, and become real in my life from this moment. Write my name in the Book of Life and give me life everlasting. I ask this in Your wonderful Name Jesus, Amen.

New Element Discovered

New Element Discovered


The recent hurricanes and gasoline issues are proof of the existence of
a new chemical element. A major research institution has recently
announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science.

The new element has been named *Governmentium*.

Governmentium (Gv) has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy
neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass
of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which
are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called
peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it
can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes
into contact. A minute amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction
which would normally take less than a second - to take over four days
to complete.

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years; it does not decay, but
instead undergoes a reorganization in which a  portion of the assistant
neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.  In fact, Governmentium's
mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will
cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.

This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe
that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical
concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as Critical
Morass. When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium
- an element which radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since
it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

What Is Independence?

Wishing you all a joyous Independence Day.

Wishing you all the emancipation from dominating powers. Emancipation, which is the act of being setting free from the power of another, from slavery, subjection, dependence, or controlling influence; also, the state of being thus set free

Our independence, which is the state or quality of being independent; freedom from dependence; exemption from reliance on, or control by, others and is truly determine by the surrender of the rule of God in our daily life; whereby we can experience the reality of inner freedom with the omnipotence of the divine; giving Him the "the right to rule by His anointed power"

A revolution is a drastic change that usually occurs relatively quickly. This word can also be looked in terms of a personal Spiritual Revolution.where a drastic change occurs.

Let us all, each and everyone of us....(me too) get off the seat of our Thrown (our heart). Allowing the governing anointed power of God's rule in our life will truly bring about personal freedom and True Independence.. Let us all P.U.S.H the door open for enter change and pray until something happens.

CATCH THE WAVE - Positioning

CATCH THE WAVE

If I am going to catch a wave when surf is up I must make sure I am in the right location to catch the motion of that wave. Positioning is almost everything, Location, Location , Location. I believe its the same with Jesus. If we are going to catch that wave that has our name on it, we must be in the right position.

Defining the concept of life

How can one tell when an entity is alive? It would be relatively straightforward to offer a practical set of guidelines if one's only concern were life on Earth as we know it (see biosphere), but as soon as one considers questions about life's origins on Earth, or the other possibility , or the concept of artificial life, it becomes clear that the question is fundamentally difficult and comparable in many respects to the problem of defining intelligence.

Historically, slaves were often those humans of a different ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex or race than the dominant or aspirationally dominant group; typically taken prisoner as a result of warfare, capture meant death or slavery if one paid no ransom.

Jesus paid the ransom price for true freedom. Jesus said follow me.

Fugitive  Just Taking a walk
DEFINITION:  (noun) someone who has escaped.
EXAMPLE:  When two prisoners broke out of the local jail, police were warned to keep an eye out for the fugitives.
SYNONYMS:  escapee, bolter.

Most of us are not aware that we are all running from something or running to something. But all of us,,,,, that would be the human race,,,,,, the crown of God's creation need to break free and make the great escape from the prison. So if you break free, you might say, you are a fugitive on the run, trying to maintain a sense of freedom from______________(you fill in the blake). There is one way by which all can be made free, may you find Him NOW!
