Like people

If they feel liked

Only few people

Are not chained to this condition

Know their worth

And shun the game of reinforcement and reward

Behind the scenes

Everyone wants them

But in the open

The shackles rules apply

Most people

Know very well

That the few people

Are pretty much in the right

But only a few

Have the determination and might

To claim their freedom

And be disliked

one's life

whether yours or your beloved's

is like a flower

meant one day to wither away

but despite that

you keep watering it

to allow its beauty

to last the longest

every minute

your nurturing steals away

from the jaws of death

is a triumph of a century

for every life to come
