Probably the strangest Amazon.com order to date (for me at least)
Current mood: amused

Strange order I think.

I love scotch, scotchy scotch scotch
Current mood: amused

My scotch blog:

Well, over the years I've developed a taste for scotch. I think the first real taste of scotch that I really enjoyed was Chivas Regal. It's still one of my favorites today. I have acquired tastes for Johnny Red Label, J&B Rare and Glen Livet. I've since moved on to Johnny Black Label. Well, now since I haven't bought records in a while, I decided to buy some scotch. Of the higher end variety. My next purchase will be an aged Chivas then I'll move down the line to different brands. Here are my latest purchases:

And this one, as soon as I saw it, I thought of Lost in Translation. This might be the whiskey that Bill Murry is advertising in Japan.

For a relaxing time, make it Suntory time.

EDIT: Upon actually doing some research, it is not the whiskey being advertised. However, I might look for that Suntory Whiskey next time I'm at Byrons. If they have this, they might have Suntory Whiskey.

Today, I opted not to buy records.
Current mood: amused

I almost ordered records then decided against it. I just wasn't feeling it last night at Blur. Anyhow, here's my new obsession:

My love/hate relationship continues with drum and bass. :/
Current mood: confused

I missed my show on jungletrain.net today. This is the second time it's happened since they kindly gave me a show. I just didn't even care enough to bother remembering it. I tried to make a dnb order on Chemical last night and could only come up with 2 records sadly enough. Maybe it's time for a short hiatus from dnb for a little while after the summer is over. Just a break, not a giving up. I've done this before and it shouldn't last too long.

Hancock, Get Smart and Wall-E
Current mood: accomplished

I saw Get Smart on Sunday with Christian. It was pretty good. I just got back from seeing Hancock then Wall-E for the second time. Wall-E was just as good the second time around. However, I saw it at Tinseltown USA this time. It was better on the 70 foot screen at Cine Capri in Harkins Bricktown. SEE WALL-E.

Wall-E
Current mood: amused

I must admit, that Wall-E was the best animated movie I've ever seen. Hands down. What an amazing film. It will be the best movie this summer. That's all I have to say. Everyone must see it. Slashfilm and Rotten Tomatoes have both praised it, if that means anything.

Dallas recap
Current mood: accomplished

Alright, so I went to Dallas on Sunday afternoon to hang out with Rachel. We had some Boston Market played Wii then went out to the Green Elephant. Highlight of the night: Squirt dancing around with a roll of toilet paper. Really drunk. Really fun. Monday: Sushi Buffet at Tokyo One. Wow, that place is fucking amazing. Yes, I did do work on the sashimi. The ramen station, how rad is that? Here's a link to the Tokyo One site: Tokyo One For dinner that night, a Texas bbq institution, Dickey's. The pulled pork and ribs, yeah, awesome. Here's their website: Dickey's BBQ I dj'ed at Zubar that night: ZUBAR Lots of fun, lots of Guinness. I bought some old records off some random dude, I'm still not clear on that. Rachel had not fallen at all during this point in time, but walked on gravel that night barefooted. Tuesday lunch, the African Village. Holy shit, it was so so soo good. No website for it, but that was the food highlight of the trip. Whole fried fish, Doh-Doh, rice, Malta Guinness and Palm drink. EPIC WIN. Dinner was almost as good, Brazilian. Here's their website: Delicias Brazil That night I dj'ed at Zephyrs: Zephyrs Lounge I played a bunch of 97 stuff, was pretty rad. Kept getting shots even though I didn't need them. Rachel did not fall this night either. However, there was good stories to be had about the random conversations with various people within the scene. Wednesday afternoon, lunch at Dickey's again. Lots of booze, lots of food and lots of Mario Kart Wii. Rachel is a gracious host! It was a lot of fun. I bought a couple of used records, a Roots Manuva ep and a couple of soccer shirts, and yes I was talked into buying Lil Wayne - A Milli on record, however, here is my bounty: Don't ask, I'm not sharing:

dallas trip!
Current mood: amused

I'm here in Dallas visiting Rachel. She is doing very well indeed. We have been eating and drinking nonstop and I've done a little bit of shopping. I even bought "A Milli" on record. LOLLERSKATES. I played at the Green Elephant last night and had soo soo sooo much fun. Squirt is so cool, quite a funny guy I might add. I'm dj'ing at Zubar tonight and then tomorrow I'm dj'ing at Battletech which is at Zephyrs. This has been a great mini vacation! Alright, back to the Wii. Did I mention that Mario Kart Wii was awesome?

My new radio show.
Current mood: accomplished

I have finally been accepted onto: http://jungletrain.net/
I will play Monday evenings from 10pm to 12am. So I'm going to have to think about moving my kunninmindz.com slot elsewhere. Or just giving it up all together. I'm not sure yet. Jungle Train is a way bigger station that kunninmindz.com, shame I could never get another bassdrive.com slot. Oh well. More to come later.
