Root of All Evil Tribute Podcast

I can't tell you how many nights I spent listening to Earl Root on "The Root of All Evil". When I couldn't stay awake, I'd start a cassette tape recording and listen later. I held on to some of those tapes for years. I was very sad to hear that Earl lost his battle with cancer last week.

So we're going to try to put together a local metal show on minneapoliscast.com. If you're in a band that wants to participate (even if you don't play metal) please send an mp3 to truetone at gmail dot com. If you know of a band that would like to take part, please spread the word.

HowWasTheShow.com 6th Anniversary Show

HowWasTheShow turns 6 years old this year and will celebrate with a party at the Turf Club on Friday, June 6th. Helping them celebrate 6 years of writing about live music and nearly 1,000 reviews online will be The Haves Have It, The 757s, The Evening Rig, Dallas Orbiter, and The Wars of 1812.

And...We’re Back!

We were in a bit of a panic here at Minneapoliscast. About 36 hours ago, we pretty much lost the whole site.

It's been moved to a new server and with a little tweaking, we're back up and running. If you missed the Roe Family Singers or Little Man, please go back and listen. It's worth your time.
