Hey buddies!
We're hitting the road once again this Fall and we're pretty damn excited to play some rock shows. We'll be hitting a few spots we missed on the last Spring tour (yes, I'm looking at you Texas, Florida, and the South). Annuals will be supporting the entire tour and our friends in 27, Helms Alee, Themes and Sylvie will be joining us for a few weeks at a time.
Presale tickets are available now--get them ahead of time and save some cash on service fees.
See you soon! -MTB

If you live in the LA area, get tickets for the show here! We'll be playing a mini-set of 5-6 songs after the taping.
In other news, Minus the Bear's recently recorded session for Daytrotter will see the light of day beginning Wednesday July 2. And for those of you in Portland, Oregon, the band will support Foo Fighters on Thursday July 10.
In addition to the performances above, the band has a few festival appearances in the works, including BC's Pemberton and Washington's Bumbershoot festivals.
Sorry it's been so quiet here on the blog... I meant to write on tour... but you know.... got lazy.
As many of you know, we recently finished up another tour, driving across Canada and hitting many places in the US that we missed last Fall. And guess what? It went really well! We saw some cities and even states we had never been to.... and to show up and actually play to a room full of people was amazing. Many, many thanks to everyone who came out to the shows.
We also had the pleasure of becoming buddies with our US tour-mates Portugal the Man and The Big Sleep... and of course our Canadian homies in Sylvie.
Coachella was a blast. I got some kind of heat/sun ailment from playing and then walking around all day in the near-100 degree weather, but it was totally worth it. Fortunately, we had the next day off to watch Roger Waters. As expected, it was mind-blowing. Surround sound. Lasers. Dark Side of the Moon. What else could you ask for?
On another day off in Northern CA, Erin and I drove down to San Francisco to catch Tim & Eric Awesome Show Live. Mind-blowing in a totally different way. Highly recommended, if you haven't checked it out already.
Hmmm, what else...
We learned some acoustic versions of songs and played them for a few radio & internet outlets, including the KEXP performance mentioned in a previous post.
This was our first bus tour, instead of the usual van or sprinter.... and let me tell ya: It's great NOT driving. Our driver Jethro had that covered, and drove that beast like it was nothing.
Our friend Hiro from Japan took about one million pictures. You may have seen him on stage or jumping into the crowd at some point. Hopefully we'll get to see some of those soon.
So now we're home for the summer, BBQ'ing some delicious things, writing some new tunes, and playing a few shows here and there.
Next month we'll be playing Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN and opening for Jimmy Eat World in Phoenix, AZ. In July we'll be playing Pemberton Festival in British Columbia with Nine Inch Nails and some other big'uns. So yeah, it's looking like a pretty good summer!

Later this year, you can find us rocking Coachella in Indio, CA and making our Bonnaroo debut in Manchester, TN. More festival action to be announced soon!
Secondly, there's a Spring Tour!! On March 24th, Richard's on Richards in Vancouver, BC will be host to the first of over six weeks of shows in Canada and the US. This will include the performance at Coachella, where the band will happily have the next day off to see Roger Waters perform Dark Side of the Moon. Booyah.
