Well, my hubby gave in and got us internet.  So I'm back online!   I can't guarantee that I'll be on very often, but I will try to respond to messages and post updates as often as I can.

My new little guy is due in three weeks!  I am so excited!!!!!!  Even so, I am so sick of being pregnant already.  Time has just seemed to slow down so much over the past couple of weeks.  And, honestly, if one more customer asks me how much longer, I swear I'm going to start pulling my own hair out!

Just a quick update -

We moved into a new apartment and do not have internet, as of yet.  So, if I don't respond to any messages or postings for a while, I'm sorry.  I'm checking my messages at my father-in-law's when I get the chance.

Pregnancy is still going well.  Little guy is super active!  Only 6 weeks and 5 days until my due date!  Yeah, I'm starting to freak out a little!

It's a boy!  We just found out today.  He's already totally perfect, just like his big brother.  And, yes, I have a name picked out- Finnian Michael, Finn for short.  Of course we had to go classic Irish again! 

Sorry to keep this so short, but Big Bro Liam is running around like a mad-man, so I need to go catch him!

Baby News!

I went for my first sonogram yesterday and here's what we found out -

I am, as of today (July 28th), 10 weeks along.  That will make my due date Feb. 23rd.  So, I'm a few weeks further along than we originally thought.  So far, everything is going perfectly!  The baby is big and healthy will a strong heart rate of 171 beats per minute.

Right now, my first born is teething again.  (Tooth #9!)  And he just woke up sounding pretty upset, so I gotta go.  I'll continue to fill you all in as my pregnancy progresses!

New job!!!

I started my new job today!  I'm a bank teller.  Woo hoo!  Okay, so it's only part time.  But, I haven't worked in almost a year, and I'm really not ready to spend that much time away from my little guy!  Plus, even though it's only part time, I can still get benefits.  So, wish me luck!

Didn't think I was living in the slums!

So we get our gas bill this past Friday.  Four-hundred plus dollars!  I swear, it's almost as much as our rent!  So, naturally, I call my landlord to bitch about it.  He tells me to call the gas company to see how much the usage was this time last year to compare.  I mean, we've put plastic on all of the windows and turned the heat down as far as we can.  But, with Liam, we can't crank it down too far for his sake.  In the meantime, my husband discovers a gas leak in the basement where our dryer hooks up.  So I call the gas company today to have them send someone over to check the lines.  Not only do they find MULTIPLE gas leaks, the idiots who put the new roof on last year didn't put an exhaust pipe on the furnaces to the outside!  So not only are we paying out of our asses for gas, we're also having to deal with a building full of carbonmonoxide!  I mean, we have a 6 1/2 month old baby for Christ's sake!  Talk about unsafe living conditions!  So here I sit at my in-law's house, uncomfortable as hell, not knowing when we'll get to go home.  Our landlord says it should all be fixed tomorrow.  But, this is the same guy who hired someone to clean out the gutters in October, and they're STILL not done.  The same guy who said that he'd replace all of Erica's water fixtures when she moved in last spring, and they're STILL not done.  And, aside from all of that, what about the outrageous gas bill?  I swear to God, if he doesn't take care of it, I'm taking him to The People's Court!!!

Best Christmas ever?

Okay, so I'm new at this whole "blogging" thing, and I might not post many, considering my life isn't very exciting to anyone but myself.  But I just got to thinking...This might end up being one of the best Christmases ever!

First off - It's my little man's first Christmas.  He may be too young to remember it, but I know I always will!

Second - My best friend is getting to spend some time with the new love of her life for a couple of days.  And we finally get to meet him!  For any of you who know who I'm referring to, you understand how exciting this is!

Third - My little bro and his girlfriend are coming to town.  This is really exciting because he has yet to see his new nephew.

Fourth - Another friend's "favorite gay" is coming to town.  She's really excited about this, so I'm excited for her.

And finally - FESTIVUS!  YEA!!!

There is one sad point to the holidays this year - It will be the first without my grandma.  But she's getting to celebrate with my grandpa, so that makes me feel better about it.
