Poor Hawaii...

Strong winds and some clouds today. Too cold for me. It's shameful how spoiled I am. Today I watched a few films that I borrowed from UH: one entitled Body Piercing and the other entitled Body Art. They were enjoyable, and necessary all in the name of research for my thesis. I have until the spring semester begins to finish writing the methodology, literature review and introduction. Besides that, there's always something to do on the island...I could never be bored that's for sure. Not saying that Cleveland is boring by any means. When I was in C-town for two weeks, it was fun and of course delightful to see family and friends, but I feel like I couldn't focus or get any work done whatsoever. It's hard to get motivated in a place where my blood really doesn't want to circulate through my veins. I hate feeling cold. The other day I mentioned to a friend that if Heaven is cold, then I'd rather be in hell. Nonetheless an exaggeration, my true belief is that heaven and hell aren't actually places, but states of mind, rather. Sigh, I need to get to work...

Ya take the good, ya take the bad...

I had a job interview at Kokua Market today and it went pretty well! At least I was on time which is more than I can say about the last interview!

Anyways, the bad news is that my purse was stolen off the beach on Friday morning, while I was surfing (if that's what you call what I was doing). So! I'm getting a new camera phone Wednesday the 24th - I can't wait! I feel so disconnected! And I had to replace all the important stuff, keys, cards, etc. But the most important thing was the keychain with the picture of me and Mom on our Ali'i Kai Cruise :-( at least she has one, maybe I can scan the picture!

Definitely DO NOT ever leave valuables on Waikiki beach unattended! I learned the hard way!!

Hump Day is coming to an end...

and I'm ready to hit the sack after a semi-productive day. Meaning, I could have done more I guess...

Like a retard, I decided to wear high heels to my 2 o'clock meeting with a client, only to find out that I took the wrong bus to the Aloha Tower Marketplace (duh!) and had to walk from Beretania St. to where I needed to be; this made me about 20 minutes late and earned me a nice fat blister on the bottom of my right foot-

-which was a perfect thing to have as I went to my Salsa Moves class at 24 Hour Fitness, as well as the 2 hour tap dance lesson which followed. Top it off with a killer headache that started at 3 and hasn't stopped yet- I'd say I'm doing awesome!! Sigh. Oh well, hope my feet feel better tomorrow for Turbo Kick Boxing class!

No thanks to the person who called and told me that I shouldn't love them because they don't love me. Boooooooo! That wasn't very nice! I hate it when the truth hurts!!

I was a blog virgin before today

I am breaking the myspace blog cherry today. Just too bad I don't have anything interesting to say. I need a job. I think I will go to the gym tonight for salsa aerobics. I had breakfast at Keo's with my roomate, Jasmine. See what I mean? Boooring!
