Melissa Schroeder has a talent for giving her characters some major heat. Gerry and Charlie are full of attitude and sex appeal. The story is fast and sexy with great dialog. I loved the characters and will definitely look forward to more from Ms. Schroeder
The Twelfth Knight
Ms. Valmont gives her characters a heart and soul, and provides the reader with a wonderfully written love story.
Nocturnal Offering
This story bursts with emotion from the very beginning. It is as heart wrenching as it is sensual. Monica Martin takes her characters to the extreme and leaves nothing out. Her work is erotic and satisfying in every way.
Masked Desires
Ms. Poff has created a story that is both tender and tantalizing. The characters are intriguing and the story well written. The air of mystery created by a masked ball is a wonderfully creative way to enhance the level of desire, and makes for one very steamy read.
Knock Three Times
This is as fun and quirky as it is hot and sexy. Ms. Jans has developed lively characters with sharp and witty dialogue. This is a great read, and I loved every word.

Prelude to ’Crown Prince of Darkness’

The Surreal...
The distant thud of hooves pounded parched earth, kicking up dust and scattering it across the baron landscape, creating effects of a sizeable dust storm. Shouts blended with the excited whinnies that reverberated the cool morning air. Horses and chariots mounted the rise, chariot runners grouped behind them, and more… Drivers flailed the beasts' hides with abandon, forcing them onward, while archers readied their bows.
These ancients were indeed a remarkable sight. Their complexions ranged from a deep brownish-red to ebony. Sunlight bounced off their copper adornments and scattered light in all directions. Lean, bare chests gleamed with sweat, loincloths or white kilts fluttered about muscular legs.They bore braided wigs, save one. Pharaoh wore a tall, blue-flanged helmet with sun disks, a golden uraeus, and a vulture fixed to it.
Her breath caught in her throat. The clamoring beasts came at them. Their manes rose and fell in rhythm to their movements and their nostrils flared. The hoof beats sounded more like thunder now. Her throat tightened further and her heart thudded painfully against her chest. God, don't let them trample me!
He suddenly clenched her arm and she sucked in sharply, his touch awakening every nerve ending in her being.
"Fear not the beasts of Pharaoh, Lily, they will not tread upon us," he said, in an ancient tongue.
Somehow, she knew the long forgotten language, knew he knew her name, but many details remained hidden in the dark recesses of her mind.
"You've been here in the past, thousands of years before... over three and a half thousand, Lily."
She squeezed her eyes shut, willing herself to awaken and when she opened them, the vision was gone. It was night. She was in his bedchamber. Of that, she was certain. Sheer, linen curtains draped around an ornate bed of cedar, covered in linen and strewn with cushions. Lamp stands burned oil in bowls, creating a soft yellow glow throughout the chamber, highlighting hand-painted motifs of lotus blossoms on the walls, and a gleaming tile-covered floor. Frankincense and myrrh permeated the air, enveloping her with its heady aroma.
"Do you remember, Nanu?" he asked. The sudden intimacy in his tone startled her.
She turned her head and looked up at him. He didn't turn his face to her.The braided wig he wore brushed the tops of his shoulders, his burnished skin contrasted with the intricately pleated kilt he was wearing. She knew his name wasNifé-en-Ankh,high priest of Ra, friend, and advisor to Pharaoh. He was her husband, she his only wife. Her name,Nanu, which he bestowed upon her, meant beautiful.
It's a dream.
He turned to her, bent, and tilted her chin, his black eyes holding her captive. "Do you remember?"
She nodded her throat too dry to utter words.
His mouth descended, the soft brush of his lips sent jolts of pleasure to her belly and beyond. His breath mingled with hers and his tongue painting her mouth thoroughly, gliding over every inch before dipping inside to seek and mate with hers. His fingers made short work of her clothing and now laid claim to her yielding flesh. His tongue lashed at her throat as he pressed her back against the bed, he caught her feet and placed them over his shoulders. His eyes pierced her as his thick erection slowly filled her. She couldn't help but utter a low moan. He pressed deeply and thrust into her with urgency."It's been too long, " he whispered against her neck, his body shuddering.

He watched her dream of him. She tossed in her bed, the cotton sheets tangling about her long, slender legs.
"It is almost time for you and I to become reacquainted, chosen one."
Soon, I will come for you. Very soon..."
A tiny whimper escaped her and she rolled onto her back...
