Jake’s Birthday is next Monday(the 24th). He would have been 21.
I’ll be at the Cemetery after 5 p.m. I hope to see some of y’all there. It is so very hard to believe that April 19th, Jake will be gone from us for 2 yrs. I MISS JAKE VERY MUCH!!!!
Having his FRIENDS stay in touch with me has helped me a lot.
You all don’t know how much I really APPRECIATE hearing
from you. I know Jake is looking down on us.
MAY GOD WATCH OVER US ALL & KEEP US FROM HARM!!

A Dream That Seemed So Very REAL!!

Have you ever awoke from a Dream & could have sworn it was REALLY HAPPENING!! I did this morning. I was Dreaming about Jake!! He had came to see me & we were talking. Just when we went to hug, the phone rang & woke me up. I started crying!! It was soooo REAL!! I wish i could have put my arms around him before the phone rang. I have been having a lot of Dreams about Jake!! It is so very hard to believe that in April, Jake will be gone 2 yrs. When we Dream of him, i take it as it's his way of saying he is THINKING of us & he LOVES us & MISSES us. I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to share my Dream with you. God be with everyone of us & keep us safe!! I LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH!! Take care!!

I have recently found out that i have Degenerative Disk Disease. I would like for ALL of you to PLEASE keep me in your Prayers!! I have 1 disk that has already deteriorated & 2 more are starting to. Jake's Heart Recipient

I received a letter yesterday that really touched me & I want to share it with you all.

To the Donor Family,
I wanted to write and thank you for the wonderful gift donated by your loved one.
I am a 63 year old male with a wife, one son and three beautiful grandchildren, all adopted from China.
I waited four and a half years for a heart and had been called two other times however it was not a match. I was gradually getting sicker and I'm sure without this gift I would not be here with my family.
Since the transplant I have been doing good, and just recently celebrated another birthday.
The morning of the transplant my wife asked to have a priest come and see us, however one was not available so a minister came in to say a prayer. He stood at the side of my bed and not only prayed for me but also remembered the donor and his family.
I know that this letter will not bring back your loved one, but I truly hope it will help in some way to know that your loved one still lives on in me.
God bless you, and thank you for the second chance at life.

I do not know if you would like to meet with me. But if you should I would be happy to meet you.

I cried so hard while reading this i could barely see to read it. It made me feel so warm inside to know that Jake has given life to 5 people. I hope to hear from the other 4. I can't wait till the day comes that i can meet them & hug them & hear Jake's heart beat.

I'M A GRANDMA!!!!!!

May 1, 2007 at 11:05 p.m. my grandaughter was born. My son, Michael Jr & his girlfriend, Ashley are the PROUD PARENTS!! They haven't decided on her name yet so i'll have to get back with you on that. She weighed 6-lb 15-oz & 21 in long. 

            HEAVEN'S VERY SPECIAL CHILD
A meeting was held quite far from Earth,
"It's time for another birth,"
Said the Angels to the Lord above,
"This special child will need much love."
It's progress may seem very slow,
Accomplishments it may not show,
And it'll require extra care from the folks it meets way down there.
So lets be careful where it's sent;
We want it's life to be content;
Please Lord, find parents & teachers who will do a special job for you.
They will not realize right away the leading role they're asked to play, but with this child sent from above comes stronger faith & richer love.
And soon they'll know the privelege given, in caring for this gift from Heaven,
This precious change, so meek & mild,
IS HEAVEN'S VERY SPECIAL CHILD

It's my 1st grandchild & she has pretty blue eyes. Her hair looks like it may be blonde.

Jake would have loved being an Uncle!!
Jake would have made a wonderful Dad also!!
