3 Year Ghosts or 3 Year Luck?

3 years ago today, was a day that permenantly altered my life. July 30th 2005. For 3 years ive been superstitious and not drove anywhere this year will be the first year ive driven myself anywhere on a July 30th since.

3 years ago today was the day i was in my infamous "Car crash on the way to a Motley Crue Concert". but this year is alot different than the previous 2, i dont feel as haunted as i use to be, i can drive in the big cities no problem no anxiety attacks. i still feel my heart jump when i think someone is gonna run a stop sign infront of me though. and ive cried like a little baby when and freak out every time ive traveled down the road to white river amp since....



i walked away from that accident for a reason, ive walked away from all my close calls for a reason(believe me ive had my fair share of times i should have died), what those reasons are i still dont know. all my close calls have made me feel lucky im still kickin, that's part of my reasoning behind tattooing luck/fate on my wrist because i believe in both alot! i also feel i was being watched out for on that day...i know its a little crazy but i sensed a presence in that car before it impacted that day.

i truly am one of the luckiest people on this planet despite all the pain ive endured with my mom's death this past 2 months. how many people can say that they have gotten to do half the things ive done in life, or meet even a quater of the people ive met in my life?
but im truly the luckiest person in the world because i have the greatest friends a person can have, you all have been there for me through alot and i thank you all for the millionth time.


for those that dont know the story of my accident i will give you the short version......
i was driving to White River Amp in auburn,wa to go see one of my favorite bands in the world Motley Crue! i was not that far from gettin there when a man ran a stop sign trying to turn the opposite direction i was traveling on the highway. i stomp on my brakes and did all i could to avoid it but the cars collided......and then the man commit one of the cruelest crimes ever Hit and run!(but he had a bit of heart and actually talked to me before he left me for dead in the middle of the highway). I was then taken to the hospital by ambulance cause they wanted to make sure i was ok internally and because my heart rate or somethin was waaaay too high. the hospital did NOTHING for me, i got pissed and hitched a taxi to the amphitheatre where two friends took pitty on this poor cruehead and gave me their extra FRONT ROW ticket!!! the next day's events is a muuuuuch longer story for another time........
they did catch the guy who hit me but the fucked up legal system in washington did basically nothing to the asshole....he didnt have to pay a dime, he really didnt get punished at all. and of course when that happened i felt i was the one being punished. and i ended up getting screwed bad i lost my ass in that accident(not to mention the 1700 bucks i would have gotten back in 9000 miles or 7 months that my fam could have really used at the time), but that doesnt matter, and i was more pissed that the fucker could have killed the 2 little kids he had in his vehicle more than i was about me gettin hurt, what kind of person runs a stop sign and is negligent with two little kids in the car!!!.
in the accident i sustained a back injury which still acts up to this day...but since ive been living in seattle seems virtually gone but its still there and acts up every now and again. i suffered chemical burns from the airbag dust that blew out of the faulty passenger side airbag, several various cuts and bruises(including one of my necklaces being imprinted for a few weeks in my skin), my eyes acted up for awhile after from the dust and still occisonally twitch(i never had my eyes twitch until that accident). i know i should have been more badly injured in that accident i know, but i was lucky. my mom and cousin who saw my car before they saw me both said by the look of my car i should have been dead. what can i say i got a few angels up there lookin out for my ass?

i was being smart and photographing everything, i guess my camera-whoreness can be a great gift sometimes, lol.

this wasnt my biggest close call, i still credit the closest call ive had in life was when i was viciously attack by a dog 14 years ago. which i still have the scar on my face...1 more inch deeper on both parts of my head and i would have been toast!


live life to its fullest people, say what you mean and mean what you say. if you've ever had any close calls you know what i mean, and you know that life is too short.
do me and yourself a favor, tell everyone you love that you love them every chance you get cause tomorrow may never come!


this year ive really started to live life more to its fullest, and break out of my shell more, and really live more. i have a small group to thank for that. especially one who made me promise to live life to its fullest because life is too short(that person knowns that fact more than anyone ive ever met).

Doin Somethin Special for My Mom & A Thank You to My Friends

im a realist, and in the real world i got to face the fact that my mom is very sick right now and who knows how long she has left on this earth.
and that kills me.
my dad and me spent the weekend copying pics that im gonna fix in collage format or somethin nice for her to look at everyday, because that makes her happy is seeing pictures, of firmilar people, places.

im gonna take what little home movies i found and play them for her, and im gonna take her, her fall from grace cd(and buy her a copy of rise from the ashes to go with it, id play her my copy but my good copy got lost and the other one is scratched to hell), and im gonna burn her a copy of some her other fave tunes from various other artists.

cause you know she lights up and is happy when she gets to look at pics i bring in for her. my dad brought over some old school pics of me as a little brat, and she loved that. my dad asked if i had some pics she might like, so im gonna get some of those printed off.

im thinkin about about gettin one of those disposable video cameras that the stores sell for like 20 bucks(or see if i come acrossed my ac adapter for my jvc camcorder which i left in seattle) and makin her some new videos.
like go up to my aunts and record a message from everyone up there, and shyann(my cuz kandi's daughter) playing cause my mom loves her to pieces.
record messages from maybe some neighbors too.
and maybe record some of the show friday. cause i know she would love that.
im so glad i got the video capablity back on my picture-camera but i can only do short clips on it cuz it takes up alot of room(that and lately i dont trust my camera not to delete stuff) but i recorded 2 videos that meant something since i got it back 1 was a 20 sec clip that is in my myspace videos of my mom wavin hi to the guys(cause she always tells me to tell them she says hi even know she has never met them), and when asked what her favorite band in the world is she said "fall from grace". too cute right? and the other video was a 10sec clip of the guys playing at hell's kitchen back on the 3rd during when they were playing covered in scars.
you should have seen my mom smile when i showed her that 10sec clip, it was a big deal to her.

being locked up in that hospital i know is hell for my mom, she doesnt have to say it, but i know it. from past history and that and common sense because im sure alot of us would get depressed or go crazy being in a hospital for almost 3 months, being away from home, and the things, places, and people you love, would we? and it's equally hard to be the one not confined to a hospital bed watching you loved one wither.

how does one cope? especially when it's family. this woman gave me life, and now i want to give her the same back, i want to give her pictures, music, videos that will bring back memories that will make her want to keep fighting and keep living. ive seen my mom in the hospital a zillion times in the past 8 years, but this is the only time i really thought she might not make it out of the hospital this time. im so close to my mom, she is the one family member who loves me for me and always has. we are alike in so many aspects my mom use to be so artsy she use to draw pics of mickey mouse, and she did a painting of my dad's old dog he use to have when they first got married. she use to do ceramics, and all other sorts of creative things. she loves music too, she would give anythin to watch neil diamond, she is like the hugest neil diamond fan in the world. neil diamond to her is like what motley crue is to me. and she absolutely adores my friends fall from grace, in fact one day she told me i could'nt play my copy of covered in scars again until i got her a copy. haha she's like dont come home without a cd from the next show, hahaha. too cute. my mom likes to chat ears off of people too, lmao. she lights up when i call my best friend staisie and have her talk to her.

but ive been doing my best to stay strong, its hard though when i have blows from every angle. and one person can only take so much. but i think things can always get worse than this. and they can.

Thx for takin the time to read this everyone, and if you would like to type my mom a get well message im sure she would appreciate it very much. (that's another thing a few yrs ago when she was in the hospital i had all my friends from motley.com type her get well messages and she loved that!). So get typin!

or if ya see me on friday and if i have enough extra space maybe i can record ur get well messages.

Going through this all just re-enforces the old sayin "say what ya mean, cause ya never know when you might get to again or if." So with that being said i wanna say to everyone reading i love you all! you all are truly gems of friends, i could never have wished or asked for better people in my life than the friends that i have been blessed with in my life.

Staisie---I love you so much and miss you, mom misses you too! i have no idea what i would have done in my life had i not met you 9 yrs ago. i would probably be that quiet, shy, boring girl i use to be. now im a fricken crazy ass motor-mouth cuz of you, LMAO

Derek K.--you know i love your crazyness, haha you are the bestest friend a person could have, it's crazy to think ive known you half my life. the world would have been a dull place without ya. you have giving me mountains of good memories, laughter and hope. you've always had my back, and im forever in debt to you for that. you are one of the only people who can get me to smile even when i feel like im about to die.

Bri-ness- I love ya! you know that, you are truly an amazing person! and are too kind beyond words! You have been such a help to me through all of this. And im so grateful that i met you on that rainy day in the guys' van, haha.

Guys!(Tryg, Ken, KB, and Btown)--Love you crazy guys! you are 4 of the sweetest people ive ever met in my life. and i thank you soooo much for your kindness and friendship.(and thx for puttin up with the blinding flash on my camera at your shows all this time, lmao)! You guys are the best! dont have a clue what i would have done had i never met you guys! and thx to you guys ive gained some other amazing people as friends like The Bri's(briness, and zombri), Ryan, Deeds!, Alabaster, Gordy, and more!

HellYeah!!

Any of you who've been to a hellyeah show know that they sell a few passes for a meet and greet after the show. Here are my pics, sorry i had to take a pic of my cellphone to get my pics, because cameras werent allowed into the venue even know some still snuck them in anyways.(this was my 2nd time meetin hellyeah, this time i was more nervous than last time. haha)

Out with 2007 in with 2008
Current mood: optimistic

Well it is time to say goodbye to 2007, even know i dont want to i like it i want it to stay 2007. (each year my anxiety/fear disorder is always higher at this time of year, with the thought of another year ending) but anyways......

it's been one hell of a year folks, one for the record books, absolutely one of the best years yet.

kicked it off with the best bday bash to date, celebrating it with my shout girls(love ya T, Jodie, Tiff, VP!) and made 2 new friends(Suz & Sonja). got to spend it watchin rockstar:supernova. and got to meet them(thx tommy, lukas, johnny and gilby for help makin my bday awesome!)  just hell awesome bday.

I got a grand total of 5 tattoos this year, 1 in Feb, 1 in April, 1 in October, 1 in Nov, 1 in Dec.(thx chas, vic, and derek!). got 3 out of 4 of the motley guys sigs which i had planned for awhile. got the FFG phenoix logo, and some of the lyrics from the dark gift(my largest tattoo at the moment) each piece special in it's own way.

i got to meet my hero thee one and only Nikki Sixx again, always a nice guy! ;)

got to meet lukas rossi 2 other times besides my bday, lukas is talented and one very cool person.

Had one long ozzfest week,  went to hellyeah in spokane, then ozzfest in auburn, then ozzfest in george. Met Vinnie Fuckin' Paul! i still think i was dreaming when i got to hug him. lol. Met Zakk Wylde, very cool guy...i also embarrased myself infront of Zakk by being so star-struck that i walked face first into the fye pavillion post behind me, smooth move, zakk was so cool about it though, he made me laugh it off. Met In This Moment at the gorge, all very cool people and talented as well. the only down sides of that week was durring the first bit of auburn i felt a little sick and worried that i was either gonna black out or have a seizure or something, i think it was exhaustion cause i only had 2 hours sleep between spokane and there, then at gorge i got trampoled fun fun!

I FINALLY got to see the amazing Rob Zombie live in concert after years of trying. got to see him twice, both shows where amazing, i loved the spokane show more, i think because it was a small venue, and him playing dead girl superstar may have had something to with it. and at the spokane show i got to meet his lovely and talented wife Sheri Moon Zombie, she is a total sweetheart, she is one of my fave actresses and it was an honor to meet her. and now my prized copy of the house of 1000 corpses script has her autograph on it, maybe one day i will get the chance to meet rob and have him sign it too.(and maybe sid and bill, now that be cool too)

Better Off Naked broke up, i was kinda bummed about that, but stuff happens

I saw Ozzy three times in concert this year, wow. that's alot of ozzy!

my friend travis aka bum quit talkin to me, just gave me the silent treatment for no reason, but im less disappointed because i heard im not the only one he is doing it to. very sad when one of ur best friends doesnt talk to you.

I got to watch Cheap Trick, Front row seats baby! i so wish i had been near the gate before the show though, cuz i could have gotten to meet robin, now that would have been sweeeeeeet! Cheap trick coming to the little old tri-cities is a pretty big deal. now if only we could talk motley into playing here, lol or even sixx:a.m.(nikki if ur reading, hint hint, LOL ok so i doubt he's reading but ya never know)

I accomplished a piece of one of my dreams, my writing was taken seriously, i won best of show, superitendant(sp?never been able to spell that word)'s Choice, people's choice and blue ribbion for one poem at the fair!!! never has any of my work gotten that kind of recgonition. It wouldnt have been possible without nikki, cause had he not inspired me to keep writing that poem would have never been written. and of course the troops have their owe part in it cause the poem was in ode to them! thanks troops for protecting our country!(if i can insert a shameless plug here, i encourage anyone reading to support opperation ward 57... http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=177283428)

now while i recap a few highlights of 2007, i save the best for last.....my friends Fall From Grace won Bodog Battle of The Bands & a recording contract with bodog music! They earned it, they deserved it, it happened to 4 of the nicest and most talented people ever. It's just so awesome! Im so very pround of the guys! guys you fuckin rock, congrats for like the millionth time! and thanks to anyone who voted for the guys! 2007 was for sure their year!

2007 was for sure a great year, filled with many great moments, so many it makes you forget about the bad(like my mom being diagnosed with a anyerusm, and possibly MS, my dog rudey being murdered by some careless driver, my cousin calvin going fuckin mental and now probably wants to kill me and my cousin kandi...fun shit right kan?? LOL. and a few other things) but the good times make everything a bazillion times better, all those moments going to shows weither it just be chillin at a friends' band's show or a major artist like rob zombie, hanging with friends, to even the simplest thing of getting new ink, the good times make everything worth it.

Here's lookin at you 2007, im gonna miss you! and here's to 2008 without a doubt it will be just as amazing....i mean afterall we all have a new Fall From Grace album to look foward to , hehehe.

But my 2008 is gonna start off with a thorn in my side, having to be in the same courtroom as my older cousin to make the restraining order sticks (talk about stress). although according to him when he was in his psychotic-rage that one day im not his cousin anymore, and you know what, no skin off my back. i may have lost one cousin but i was protecting my younger cousin kandi, her daughter and her bf from getting hurt or killed by him and if that makes me bitch so be it. all i did was warn them and told them to lock the door. he only has himself to blame, he's the one who broke one restraining order...and now he is getting another one slapped on him, so now the whole road basically is off limits to him. but enough about that......

Hopefully in 2008 my mom will finally get her brain surgery on her anyersum and so Seattle will be seeing alot of me as i of it, cause if they find out that my mom also has MS i will have to drive her to seattle routinely to get treatment. i heart seattle, so i dont mind constantly going there, it's one of my fav cities. i got that madison st exit memorized pretty good now, LOL. any seattle ppls wanna keep me sane for the estimated 6hours+ my mom is gonna be in the hospital in surgery, cause seriously i will need a friend to keep me from going all girly-crying freakin out and shit. i give anyone permission to slap me if i get in hysterics, LOL. i have no clue how my mom can stay so calm knowing that she has something in her head that could take her life at any moment, i couldnt be that strong, hell i have anxiety attacks and fear of stuff like that as is(ya i have a fear of death, it wasnt that bad until my crash). i'll keep you all updated on what's happening with her surgery and shit.

I plan on kicking off 2008 with another bday bash on the west side, Anyone interested in celebrating my bday with me a day early at an awesome show?? The Vincent Black Shadow and Wednesday 13 are gonna be playing Studio 7 on Feb 17th(day before my bday). Im planning on going to the show, it'd be nice to see some firmilar faces there :) So if you are in the seattle area on feb 17th get your asses to studio 7 and come watch a good show and wish me happy bday!

Meeting Nikki Sixx Again!! So Awesome! Seattle Heroin Diaries Book Signing!!

Nikki Signing!! 10/27/07

First off I'd like to say thanks to Tiff and VP, for letting me stay with them and carpooling to the signing. Us crazy shouter ladies got are butts in line at 7am (lucky for that because Barnes and noble ended up turning away over 150 people, I'd hate to be them). And some of are other buddies showed up, we all sat chit-chatting in line until doors opened up for wristbands which fellow shouter and friend Stacey was handing out we have now dubbed her "Book Bitch" as she got to be beside Nikki during the book signing and fetch him anything he needed (Stacey is my new hero, LOL, I'm still jealous). Then since we had our wristbands all we had to do is wait until 2pm to meet Nikki. Me, Megan and new friend who came all the way from Florida Penny, sat chatting at a table while the rest of our group ran around. Then we all made our way upstairs and sat around waiting, as time got closer my nervousness set in.(when I'm nervous I literally shake, and not to mention I ramble, I stutter and turn into a total dork!). Earlier when we were all in line I wondered if my shouter buddy Larry was gonna show up and he did, it was nice to see him again and catch up since I hadn't seen him since the Tommy cd signing 2 years ago.(crazy how time flies, cd signing seems like only last year! LOL).

Announcement came on the intercom for group 'A' wristband people to line up (meaning us huge group of shouter ladies!). We waited in line and my nerves just kept sinking in; even know I had already met Nikki before. (But you gotta remember Nikki is my Hero! Out of all the Motley guys). I was thinking of what I wanted to say to Nikki (which of course I wouldn't remember any of that when I got up there cause I was so fuckin nervous), I asked Megan and Tiff if the letter and the pic from Spokane I brought was a cheesy idea (but you know what I'm so glad I didn't change my mind on the letter thing because when I got up there to meet Nikki I totally blanked). We waited for awhile and they brought Nikki out, when it got my turn I was so nervous I forgot to pass my camera off to Tiff or Megan or somebody. I turned into an absolute nerd and mess of nerves, you could literally hear the nervousness in my voice I said hey to Nikki and told him I was so frickin nervous, he said hi and took my book from me and signed in he said my name to double check (cause they had everyone write down their name on a post it note so he could personalize their book). And I started rambling I couldn't even remember what I exactly said, I was like "I met you in Spokane" and Nikki was like "Spokane" and I showed him the picture and told him I brought it for him, and he was like "you want me to sign it?" and being the total non-thinking nervous dork I was; I was like "no I brought for you to have" and I think Nikki could tell I was very nervous and he smiled and said "No I think you'd rather have me sign it wouldn't you?" and I smiled and in the most dorky way said "Ok", and he signed and gave 9it back to me and I told him there was a letter in the envelope for him and he took it and gave me back the envelope. And then I asked him if he would sign an index card so I could take it and get it tattooed because him and Mick were the only ones I didn't have and that I already had Tommy's and Vince's autographs tattooed on my leg. He said sure. And then I showed him my chunk of bass from auburn and told him what it was and that it was my only souvenir from the show except totaling my car on the way to the show, and he chuckled, smiled and said "well that's not much of a souvenir now is it" and I kinda sheepishly laughed and said not really. I asked him if I could give him a hug and he said sure, and this is were I was total dork when I hugged him I was like "I totally love you!" he just smiled and I said thanks and said bye to him and he said bye. (He probably thinks I am either crazy or a total dork now, LOL). I felt like an utter dork afterwards but I was so happy to get to meet him again, I mean it's not everyday you to meet Nikki Sixx!! Despite being a total nervous wreck I manage to turn around and take a picture of Tiff with Nikki, poor Tiff was so happy she began crying when she met Nikki! I almost got a pic of her (and VP too) hugging Nikki but my camera went retarded on me and stalled so I didn't get them hugging him. All us gals had a great time getting to meet Nikki, and I am sure all of us would have looooved to have Stacey's job that day! LOL. Tiff or VP (I can't remember who right now) Told Nikki that all of us were nicknaming Stacey the "Book Bitch" LOL. Stacey wanted us to stick around but VP, Tiff, Michelle and I had to get back because Tiff had to get back for her kids Halloween party. We all had an amazing time, and would love to do it again sometime. I still feel like a total dork, but it was an awesome day and I would give anything to do it all over again! I feel bad for those 150+ people they had to turn away; the one Barnes and noble gal said they were just breaking hearts.

I'll post pics of me meeting Nikki as soon as VP and Tiff send them to me. And I'll post what pics I have from the day right away.

Thanks Nikki for coming to Seattle to do a Book Signing!!!(That reminds me I was so nervous I forgot to tell him what I thought of the book and cd! Well Nikki if you are reading out there in myspace land, I loved the book and think it is going to inspire a lot of people, and I totally love love love the CD, I could elaborate but then this blog would be a whole hell of a lot longer!!)

Lukas Show Blog!!! 10/25/07 Studio 7

Lukas Show 10/25/07

So I drove up to Seattle to Studio 7 and went to the Lukas Rossi show, saw my buddy Suzette again, and her friend Kathy, and made a new friend Kathy's niece Katrina.

The show started out with Triumph and Tragedy, and they were filming for a local cable show, I believe it is on the first and last Tuesday of the month on channel 77 for all you Seattle ppls, if you tune in you might see me in the crowd I stick out like a sore thumb cause I was like one of the tallest people there, lol. The film crew also filmed the 2^nd band Future Fossils, they were pretty awesome. Then came 3^rd act the wRight Brothers, they kick some ass, they are this band that is, made up of 2 sets of brothers and they dress in like WW era bomber outfits. Then came Lukas! It was just him this time with an acoustic guitar, during the show he said it was just like he was just playing to us all in his living room. He did an awesome show as always, in my opinion I like his solo shows more than the Supernova shows. He did a meet and greet after the show like always, and when he saw me he said "hey baby nice to see you again, I saw you up front and recognized you.", we chatted for a minute and I asked him if he'd sign another one of my pics I took at the Everett show and he said sure. It was nice seeing Lukas again, he is a class act and very nice guy. I didn't stick around for the last band (Riverbend)because it was already like 11:30 or so. So I headed to North Bend where I stayed hold up from the cold inside Ken's Truck Town Restaurant, (popular rest-stop on my family's journeys to and from Seattle). It was too cold to sleep in the car, so I stayed up all night just sitting in the restaurant, writing and chatting with the night waitress who had seen me just last week when I stopped there on my way back from the Rob Zombie/Ozzy show. Left there at about 5am, and headed my way back in the other direction.
