I don't know...
Category: Music

I have a tendancy never to write in this thing...and that's probably why I haven't in a long ass time.  I just don't evr have anything interesting to write about.  But here goes.  I got fired from County a month ago today.  Today, which would have been my two year mark.  Don't get me wrong, I fucking hated the place, and I don't miss it one bit.  But what I will miss very much are the memories I have had, good and bad, with the employees there.  It's really coworkers that make a job bearable.  It was about two weeks before I could stand to go in there for more than five minutes before emotionally collapsing.  It's clear that a lot of peoepl there miss me, even Nancy, the cigarette Nazi expressed her remorse at seeing me gone.  I've even been told that it 'just hasn't been the same without me around' by people that I didn't get along with.  But what really breaks me, is the people that I thought I did have a decent relationship with, have had no desire to contact me.  They're not totally at fault, I haven't tried either...though I did that on purpose to see how long before people noticed I was gone.  I don't even remember the point I was trying to make with this blog.  I guess I just wanted to share it.
I haven't found a new job yet, which sucks, but I still have things to look forward to.  Dragonforce in concert!  Yeah!  They'll be back here in MN with Killswitch, Chimera, and He is Legend on April 2nd.  Edguy will also be back in September, a ridiculously long time to wait, but what are you gonna do?
Other things of note...I'll be moving out at the end of the month, I grew a beard, my contacts are killing me...hmmm I can't think of anything else now, but that should take care of my blogging for the rest of this year...

I noticed I haven't posted a blog in four months, soooo...
Current mood: sore

I went to the Lacuna Coil/Dragonforce concert last night.  Dragonforce is awesomeness.  The keyboarder can play better with his teeth that I could ever achieve with my hands, and the guitarists Herman Lee and Sam Totman...well, here:

I'll post any pics I have later, if any of them turned out.

Nerdiness: Star Wars Databank Entry
Current mood: nerdy

SANDCRAWLER:
What is known: They are the huge things the Jawa scavengers of Tatooine drive around the desert in.  Not much other than that...
What else there is:  The machines were originally used for mining the very poor quality ore in the Tattooine desert by the Czerka coorperation.  A galaxy-wide company, much like the Trade Federation.  Dating back to 40 years after the Sith War.  Or approximately 1,000 years before the movies.  Because of the really, really poor quality natural recources on Tattooine, they gave up and abandoned the Sandcrawlers.  The Jawas, being recourceful little bastards, commandeered the vessels and repaired them and piloted them over the span of a millenia.

My best rant yet, which isn't saying much...
Current mood: aggravated
Category: MySpace

I've been getting a shitload of random PM's lately, but rather than just ranting, this is what my inbox looked like when I got home from work today.

Now let's take a closer look.

Well Roxanne, I'm sure your friend is real nice, in fact, I looked at her profile and she's kinda cute, her name is Nicole and she's from Austin, Texas.
Wait, Texas?  You want me to go all the way to Texas?  Sorry, I can't.  Damn, my one shot at true love...

How about this one...

How original, Fairy.  Just out of curiosity, why don't we check out your friend?

Well, I almost never say this, but she's not really my type, and also from Texas, I don't know Ashley, like I said to Nicole's friend, or freind, rather, I'm just not ready to commit myself to a stranger from Texas.

Now let's take a look at Buck's message:

Sweet Jesus, are you serious?!  Okay, Buck, fuck you.  What makes you think anyone would go along with this bullshit?  In fact you know what?

And yes, I did send it, and no, you should never go to the site I sent him...bad, bad things happen...

And also it's official, I get more messages from these pricks that my friends.
You should all be ashamed.

I'm retarded
Current mood: relieved

I've been a little absent the past couple days, because on Wednesday, I tried to delete my Linux partition.  I got a little carried away and deleted my Windows boot loader...and I don't have my own restore CD.  I cried for hours, well not really, but inside.  I'm  back now, but still don't have my Linux-allocated space back.  I'm not going to try again for a little while...

Damn You PETA
Current mood: Embarassed to be a Human

Reposted from this site: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,176739,00.html

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, has begun a campaign to scare children into becoming vegetarians.

The group, which formed to stop animal testing of consumer products but made its name by attacking women in fur coats with fake blood, is producing comic books that portray fathers as homicidal maniacs.

The handout, titled "Your Daddy Kills Animals," features a grinning lunatic gutting a fish, and warns kids to keep their puppies and kittens away from Dad because he's "hooked on killing."

"PETA is trying as hard as it can to portray the ordinary angler as a demonic, sadistic, cruel killer. This is what PETA does — it paints caricatures of ordinary people to try to convince the rest of us that we shouldn't want to emulate them," said David Martosko, of the industry lobbying group Center for Consumer Freedom.

But PETA insists that its comic is not outlandish.

"The scientific facts are that fish feel pain in the same way as dogs and cats. It's no more acceptable to hook a fish through the mouth and drag them into your boat and slice them in half than it would be to do the exact same thing to a dog or a cat," said Bruce Friedrich, vegan campaign coordinator for PETA.

Publicity stunts are nothing new for PETA, which has run ads featuring naked women in cages and people dressed in animal suits warning about the dangers of eating meat. But some critics feel the kid-targeted campaign goes too far.

"This is traumatizing kids by the thousands. There's going to be long-term psychological damage from these kids being exposed to the material that PETA puts in front of them on a regular basis," Martosko said.

But, Friedrich countered, "They can certainly find stuff that is more in your face on the Internet, more in your face on Saturday morning cartoons. We don't need to shelter our kids quite that much."

The pamphlet follows a previous one that painted Mom as a "chicken killer." PETA claims its only goal is to reduce meat consumption by changing children's eating habits. Critics insist alienating children from their parents isn't in anyone's best interests — human or animal.

Tips and hints Pt. 2
Current mood: sleepy
Category: Jobs, Work, Careers

I was inspired by a few 'special' customers today, to add a few more to the list...
1. The no smoking inthe building sign is not there as part of an artistic endevor, and even if its too windy to light up outside, too fucking bad ya old dumbass.
2. If a door is locked, has a sign posted that kindly insructs you to use the other door, and there is a yellow wet floor cone placed in the way of the door.  It means use the other door.
3. If said door is locked in such a manner, DON' UNLOCK IT(these first three are courtesy of the same dumbass)
4. Three cents off a gallon is not much, and it is no more valuable when the gas prices are higher...
5. And if you get to the point where you bring both cars in to get them filledbecause you only have one coupon, just to save 25 cents, you are a loser.
6. And if you not only bring both cars in, but place the nozzle in the trash can, right in plain view of the attendants while you switch cars, instead of hanging it up and starting over, then if ever I am in charge of such things, you will not be allowed to leave your house without your own government trained escort, at your expense.
7. AND if I tell you not to do it again, and you tell me you have done it before and it was never a problem, becaus eI was the first one to catch you doing it!  *SMACK!*

Current mood: frustrated

Lately, I have been watching waaaay too much subtitled anime, now I'm hearing voices, and they speak Japanese.  Also when I'm not actually paying attention, human voices sound Japanese.

Looks like I'm stuck with my history class
Current mood: chipper

Alright!  I got a B on my history test.  And since about a quarter of the class failed...I suppose it's cause for celebration.  I don't have to drop the class afterall.  I also found out that in the past, on one of the IDs for his midterm, a student placed Julius Caesar as a priest of Yaweh....looks like someone didn't do the reading....
