Yes, we have been gone, out doing 3-D things and the like, on a hiatus as it were, but we are back to help you navigte your way through the remainder of this all too predictable Presidential Season.
No Cure For That has a yet, ever-morely improved new site and we are once again seeking submissions of Lit 101 items (send to cwar.ncft@yahoo.com.) We are about to unleash upon the world the wrath known as The Artichoke or The Beet (the name is still being mulled over by our resident teen.) Do you know or are you a smart teen who is sarcastic and likes to mock the adult world (is that all redundant,) then encourage him or her (or yourself) to send a satirical article to ncft@mac.com.
No Cure For That: It’s November Somethingth and The Hermit Got a What?
Current mood: busy
Category: Jobs, Work, Careers
Usually, we are all about business in this here blog, but lately we are anything but business as usual. You may have noticed (or not) that the way we were posting the lit pieces switched a bit before they stopped for a bit. Well, I had 3D life prevail and when I turned around, The Hermit had gotten a job!
Do what? Is he leaving us? Is he selling out to That Man? What man? You know, THE Man.
It seems not. He is now getting paid to do what he was already doing much of the time anyway, promoting Dennis Kucinich with his killer Vlogging skills. Now, there's a symbiosis that could have only been crafted in some sort of aetheistic heaven, like Cleveland. No Cure For That will continue to feature Hemit videos as well as our always luscious lit line up. We are now posting lit material on the main page, but you can always go back into the vaults and find our previous treasures, short stories, poetry, Lit 101's and I encourage you to do so.
I'd also like to encourage you to submit writing. No where else can you find a collection such as this (that we know of ) and where else can you submit your 101 word pieces of pure genius, I ask?
Recently, we featured the poetry of Michael Solomon. We currently are featuring a piece by Anna De Vaul and have a few great ones coming soon.
You can also come over and say hi to thepoetryman, who has joined the crew, the team, the few, the save-the-army, oh, and we're not too proud either. He's been posting some great theater pieces (some... might call those plays) and song videos, so come on over for that.

Okay, I know you guys (or ya'll) have come to expect the customary list of brilliant lit pieces that are neatly categorized back in the remote pages of No Cure For That in this here blog, but we are gonna shake things up big time today (well....)
Due to our newfound blog assistance in the form of an actual poetryman, we are now capable of posting each lit piece in it's own special entry, hermetically sealed for freshness and individually commentable.
We will feature one lit item (poetry, short story and our very own unique ncft genre, Lit 101) on our main page each day as well as post it back in the specialized pages each day, so SUBMIT, SUBMIT, SUBMIT! (Yes, that was three times. It MUST be important!)
Be sure to go back and read the awesome lit that's been waiting for you all along as well as the Hermit's new videos. Help "A Challenge for Students" hit 2,000,000 views!!! And even better yet Support Our Troops, organize a protest or whatever new medium it might take to end the US occupation in Iraq, like this at your school!!

I hate that phrase "A Day Late and a Dollar Short", but we are this week, but don't let that fool you into thinking anything less of the writing in this week's awesome No Cure For That lit line-up!
Guilt Trippin' for Your Submission, by Freida Bee.
Thanks Freida. Though increasing your guilt is not our aim, she does have a point. (Well, we asked her to write it.) We'd really like to see more of your Lit 101 pieces here. There may become a time (we hope) when we have so many of these to choose from that we can't include them all, so this is a good time to have your writing featured.
