New Year, new me??

Nope....same old me, same old life. spent 2 weeks in ohio learning about water damage restoration and applied structural drying....so if your house floods, gimme a call and I'll dry your place out (might cost u a small chunk of change, but hey being dry is worth it!) The more time goes on the more skilled i am in my trade, in most situations, wouldn't that usually come with an increase in pay?? Just a thought, y'know if my company can send me to ohio for a couple weeks of training i must be somewhat valuable, maybe they could pay me more...wait, that's right we live in a capitalist society so thats not gonna happen!! Maybe one day I'll get paid what I'm worth, maybe...maybe.... hey I can dream!

I'm still alive!

I am still alive, I'm still kickin'!

I've been super busy and had little access to the internet in the past six months. For those of you who haven't heard, I live in Utah....I know, "WHY UTAH!?!?" cause this is where my life is now. I may not be able to gamble (not even scratch tickets) or go to a real strip club or get porn or a near decent price on real booze, but I do have my fiance! 06-23-2007 that's less than 2 weeks away from now...I'll be married!!! That's happy fun stuff....and more happy fun stuff, I finally got a promotion at work, I'm now a Full Time Crew Chief for Stanley Steemer!

Overall life is going good, I'm supposed to be getting up to take my future wife to Lagoon (its an amusement park...like Six Flags but not as cool) but instead I'm being a tad lazy....okay I'll go now.

I couldn't pay a few bills and lost my internet at home and somewhere in there I just gave up on things that weren't too important.

You'll be glad to know that I'm working full time and that's about all.

I'm still with Yohaira, but she's in Utah and I'm not....but I'm thinking of trying to change that.

I am alive, but I've become local, I don't stray very far from home these days, I don't really have the money to....

Maybe I'll reenter the world after I can pay off a couple of debts

I know I haven't been returning phone calls... I guess just count me out for a while... I'll call you once my life is a little more simple...

Voy a Florida
Current mood: drained

So....I'm headed to Florida in the morning. I'm gonna fly out there and then turn around and drive back. My plane leaves Denver at 6:05 am and I won't get to Sarasota, FL until 2:40 pm (that's 12:40 pm MST)!!! Then, my brother and I will take care of some errands and probably go out on the town, get up on Saturday and embark on our cross-country trek to my house. Upon arriving, my bro is going to move in with me!! The sad part is that I'm giving up Rambo :-( But it's okay because I'm giving him to my ex-girlfriend so I should still be able to see him every now and again... So, on Saturday, if you're bored, call me...I'll be on the road all day...and all night....and most of Sunday...And, if you would likea knick-knack or anything else that is not a "Southern Belle", let me know...I'll pick it up for you...I'll be driving through Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas...there might be another one or two states in there somewhere, but I think I listed all the ones that I'd be in for a couple hundred miles...

Wish me luck....and hope I don't break down in the middle or nowhere!!

So, today, it is official, my bike runs!!! I just need to get a flat tire fixed so I can take it for a test ride around the neighborhood(hopefull all is well!!) and then all I'll need is plates!!!

Again with the motorcycleness.....

So for those of you that don't know yet...and there should be very few of you, I finally got me a motorcycle...that's right, soon Danny will be cruising one of the two-wheely thingys! I've been doing tons of work to it in order to get it roadworthy, and I'm waiting on paperwork to get the title and all, so hopefull soon she (or he....how about we settle on it?) will be on the road!! Yes, I do have a helmet! Yes, I do have insurance! Yes, I do know how to ride a motorcycle! So please avaoid asking those questions... I can't wait to start saving money by spending less on gas!!! That'll be really nice and I will be able to make it out to Utah more often, I hope! It'll also be cheaper for me to go to regionals if the weather is nice and the liason meetings so I can rep. Aims!!

On a completely different note, I have an interview on Friday for a seat on the Larimer County Latino Issues Task Force!!! Wish me luck!

Latino Issues Task Force

So, on a whim, today I put in an application to be on the Latino Issues Task Force of Larimer County. This is a county board. I'm not exactly sure why I did this, I just figured that maybe I could help my community locally. Interestingly enough, they are only taking applications until the 12th. There are 16 seats on the board. There are only about 10 other applicants. That means that I have a very good chance of being placed on the Latino Issues Task Force... I wonder if that was a good idea??? Well, I guess that it could look good on applications and resumes...I mean how many 21 year olds do you know that have served on county boards?? I guess that only time will tell how this one is gonna work out....
