A new year...

Well, it's that time of year again...another year come and gone, and I have to say, it was an ok year.
Here in good old Northwest Nowhere, things have been pretty ok for the little family I have going. Nothing catastrophic has taken place and every one is happy, healthy (neglecting to mention the stomach virus and sinus infections we have going on currently - Ooops, I didn't neglect to mention it...there it is, right up there.) and otherwise pretty content.
This year we celebrated the birth of two new additions in the form of nephews, stayed close with some old friends and got a little closer to some new ones. Dave and I are still quite fond of one another and my babies are growing up into some wonderfully beautiful, intelligent and caring little girls.
If I had to make a resolution for the upcoming year I suppose it would be to take better care of myself, not just for my benefit but for the benefit of my little family. I could definitely give up the nicotine and stop indulging myself in late night brownie batter binges...We'll see about that though.
I hope each and everyone of you has a wonderful (and SAFE) New Year's Eve celebration, whether it be a quiet night with the family or an all out "Sex and the City-esque" bash complete with champagne toasts at midnight.

I HATE THE WAY THIS BLOG IS SET UP....
WHY IS THE CANCEL BUTTON ON THE LEFT?!
Calm...calm...calm....
I just wrote a really funny (you're going to have to trust me on this one ok?!) blog and I was just about to post it when
I HIT FREAKING CANCEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No "Are you sure you want to cancel?"
No no no no no! Apparently Tom believes if you hit cancel it's because you've taken a look at the tripe you've written and have thought long and hard about the decision to CANCEL it. What about those of us, Tom that are up at 3:45 in the morning because we're so emotionally drained that we have to let out some funny internal monologues on line while we're completely sleep deprived?! You can't give us an "Ooops! Do over?"
Nooooooooooooo....just CANCEL.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Oh and just for the record....I have changed my time zone preference on here about a million times and guess what?! I don't appreciate my blogs being Posted in PDT! Ok....
