Clu Gulager Fest Aug. 27-30! Director, cast and crew of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD in person!!!

Join us tonight (Wednesday) for the opening of the New Beverly Cinema's incredible four-day tribute to actor and friend Clu Gulager. The festival starts with a special screening of the modern horror/comedy classic THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD (1985), featuring a reunion of most of the cast and crew! The film will be followed by a very rare theatrical screening of the recent horror film FEAST, also starring Clu Gulager and directed by his son John Gulager.

There will be a Q&A after THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD tonight, moderated by Jeff Burr and featuring writer/director Dan O'Bannon along with stars Clu Gulager, James Karen, Don Calfa, Thom Matthews, Brian Peck, Beverly Randolph, John Philbin and Jewel Shepard. Also joining them will be makeup and effects artists Tony Gardner and Kenny Myers, along with production designer William Stout. This is going to be an amazing night folks, don't miss it!

The festival continues with a second screening of FEAST and THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD tomorrow night, with guests from FEAST in attendance, and then continues Friday and Saturday with the classic films THE KILLERS and THE LAST PICTURE SHOW. Each night will feature a Q&A between the films, with Clu Gulager and others discussing the making of these amazing films and working with some of Hollywood's greatest actors and directors. Also expect some incredible stories and behind the scenes info that you won't hear anywhere else as Clu dishes the dirt on working both inside and outside the Hollywood system!

Gorgeous prints of THE PINK PANTHER and A SHOT IN THE DARK

Monday, Aug. 25 is the last night to catch this Blake Edwards/Peter Sellers double bill of the first and second Inspector Clouseau films! THE PINK PANTHER is a beautiful new print made this year for UA's 90th anniversary, with digitally restored sound. A SHOT IN THE DARK is also a BEAUTIFUL, recently made print!
