So even though the week is now over it has been an interesting one for me. I know that I don't post updates hardly at all anymore. My mind has been else where and I am ususally preoccupied with life, but I thought it might be theraputic if I took a few moments to write so here it is.
Yesterday I hit the 20 week mark of being preggers. I'm half way there. Yeah!! Being pregnant is an experience..for me it's always a hard one because I spend 90% of it being really sick, losing weight, and feeling awful. This time around has been like that too, but it's slowly getting better and I'm hopeful that I will continue to feel better as the weeks progress. I'll find out on the 24th if we are having a boy or girl so that is really exciting. We'll see if my instincts are right in what I think we are having.
Sam is doing amazing. My little guy is 19 months old and continues to amaze me every day. We are using the First Steps program to help with his lack of desire to walk. He's 3 feet tall and weighs 30 pounds it's time to walk. All of the evaluations we have had for him say that he is well above average and in the 2-3 year age range in his abilities and his understanding. He's amazingly smart. :) It makes me happy to know that I'm providing great learning opportunites for him even though some days it feels like we do is sit around and watch Spongebob when I'm not feeling well. lol. Sam is very sweet too giving me kisses when I don't feel well and coming to give me hugs all the time. He know's his mommy doesn't feel well is trying to comfort me which is very sweet.
Work with Pampered Chef is doing fine. I like that I work from home when I want and that I can dictate when I work or if I work. I've been taking a little vacay from it and will be trying to do more work soon.
Todd and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anivesary at the end of December. I can't believe it's been that long and in other ways it seems so much longer. I am truly blessed to have him in my life and to have him as my husband. We hit a rough patch, but we are working through things. It's easy to let life take over so we are being deliberate about maintaining our friendship and love. I really am blessed.
My relationship with God is better. For many years I kinda decided to take a hiatus if you will from church and learning and growing in my relationship with Him. I was so burned out from being in a constant bubble of Christianity at Asbury that I didn't stop believing I just kinda stopped making God a priority in my life. Some circumstances have made me realize that with out him I can not be the person that I am destined to be. I've found new footing and am excited to see what happens next and how God is going to work. I'm reading and praying again and I know that in my heart that I have missed it and am glad for the wake up call to get back to what I need--God.
I have had wonderful people surround me in love and prayer and I am beyond thankful for that. I know that there is power in prayer and so know I ask you all to pray for my family. My grandparents are both suffering from different medical condtions that can be life threatning. They are some of my favorite people in the world and it makes me so sad to know that they are both in pain and suffering.
Well...that's probably more than I orginally inteded to say, but there it is.

I know that I haven't really written in awhile. I tend to use Facebook a little bit more and talk to people a little more frequently, but it's still no excuse for blogging I guess. Anyways...Just wanted to let everyone in on our big news. We are preggers again and expecting baby 2 sometime next summer. I'll have more details for everyone later. Todd and I found out like a week ago, but I've just been feeling so blah that we really hadn't had a chance to tell many people. So there it is...We are having another baby. We must be crazy since this time next year we will be parents of a newborn and 2 year old. :)
