Burning Man?
Oh my. It seems my new piece has stirred someone up in a negative way.
They thought I was trying to hurt them in some way with this message.
Then when I tried to defend it and say what I meant by it they took that to mean that I am mean?
The burning man's message was very simple.
we all judge and are being judged.
Funny cause that gives us all common ground for being part of something that scrutinzes differences.
Makes us all the same in some way.
And where we all suffer in that way he represents our burning or the pain inside.
That's all.
Nothing more, nothing less.
So if someone reads more into this than that...I can't help where the mind wants to go.
I'm only the artist.

More from my muse
A while back I posted a bit of writing from my automatic writing. Here is a bit more of an excerpt:
This is to everyone, not me specifically. So when you read this know the message is for you as well. As we continue to try to move through the struggles, this is an obvious statement below, but a terrific reminder.
"YOU are important with or without other people. You are a gift to all who come in contact with you. For you to claim self esteem through others is not healthy. Know that it is through your own actions, your own talents, your own stregth and character you are important. You can do anything you want or need to do. Whatever you ask for will be given.
Keep watching as the world unfolds. It may seem slow, but it is real and through persistence, no matter what you face, you will get what you are searching for.
Serve the world.
Serve your family.
Do not be selfish, vain or self indulgent.
Stay on task. Do not give in to ego.
Love. Love yourelf.
Love your family.
Love your friends.
Be grateful and fill with gratitude."

The Labrynth
My mind is a trap from which I cannot escape.
No method of finery is offering a moment of release.
No mention of play is boiling over in relief.
For the labyrinth into which I have fallen has gotten hold.
The twisting gnarled branches have me by the ankles.
The endless corridors look the same no matter where my nose is pointed.
It is madness.
In this strange and unfamiliar place I find my own personal hell.
The muse is here and her seduction eggs me on.
"do not turn back now" she whispers.
For you have really only just begun.
Yet I know, I have always been here.
And whether or not I turn back it is the circles that will take me.

Faerieworld’s is on myspace!
Please add them, they rock and if you haven't been there, it should be a destination for any faerielover.
The first time I went I got "unzipped". I mean wow. My world open up in such a way. I guess it's so connected to the earth, to having fun, to being yourself, to just being. I found myself forgetting about the outside world and for two days (now three) just lost in the moment. There is eye candy, ear candy, and most important, soul candy.
I'll be there this year siging prints and bringing my newest faeries at the FaerieMagazine booth.
You gotta stop by and say hi.
In the meantime, add em to you page, they are great people.Yay!!! It's time to play!!

Trust
Conversations with my inner guide. I wrote this a while back but found it to be very empowering. So I thought I would share it with you all.
A really terrific way to start the morning!
"Speak to me of Trust"
To trust in oneself is to acknowledge your own power and possibilities. It is self acknowledgement and self validation. To trust in yourself is to believe. To know that you have within you what everyone has within them. The power to live into your destiny. Your fullest potentiol. If you can train your mind to trust in yourself, discipline yourself to quiet the inner critic, you will be able to move forward beyond your safety zone and into the next realm of your life.
You should calm your mind and heart. This need to know and do everything now is exhausting and counter productive as it opens the door for self doubt. Trust in the process of things.
All for now but there is an entire notebook full of this stuff!
You are welcome to please pass this along.

It’s looking promising!
I will be discussing the package for Faeriecon this Tuesday with the producer. I am hopeful it will turn out to be very fruifull for the costs. Looks like there are 3 pretty serious interests at this point. So there may be a full booth but there is not final commitment yet.
So I will be needing final commitment absolute yay or nay by next Friday. That doesn't mean all the cash, only a deposit. e-mail me privately to let me know you are serious and want full details on what's up and I can get that to you when I get back in town and we can solidify things.
One of the current artists is an iffy cuz they are already commited so things would need to be changed. So there is still a possible opening. But I need to know asap!!
Let me know as soon as you can!

Want to go to Faeriecon as an artist or vendor?
Hey,
Here's a bit more info on the details of Faeriecon that I thought would help the artists make some determining conclusions.
It's pretty expensive. But not as expensive as say Comic Con or even INATS and the cool thing is...you have over 7000 prequalified buyers. They are ALL there because they love faeries! Plus it's a convention so they aren't there to listen to the bands or party, they are there to SHOP! That's different than the outside venues where there are alot of folks just there to spread the love and listen to the bands.
Down side? We are competing with the biggest guns in the industry for the people's money.
I have to tell you, Alan Lee, the illustrator and designer for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy-movie, will be there so between him, and Brian and Wendy Froud (I think they'll be there) it is going to be higher than 7000 this year.
So at INATS I have paid $950 for a half a booth for 1500 attendees for 3 days. That's a total of 4500 attendees total. Not really alot I don't think.
Faeriecon is prequalified faerie buffs. With free carpet! 2.5 days over 6000 attendees and if we manage to get a pavillion, each artist will get a 10x10 booth for $625. Plus a crap load of online exposure. You'd need to rent tables too plus include a room and flight etc...believe me it adds up.
The masquerade balls are amazing and some of the best music I've ever experienced. I love Woodland and Qntal. They are both on my front page of friends.
I think I'm going to bulletin this.
But you'll get to meet people like Jasmine Beckette Griffith, Jessica Galbreth, Me...grin...
Brian Froud, Alan Lee and TONS of other artists that you'll recongize.
So please consider it. I think it will be a killer year. People aren't looking so much for stuff anymore. They want an experience. And if they have the stuff to remember the experience, there is a better shot of buying.
Here's the link if you are interested.

Shout out to the fantasy artists!
I am going to Faeriecon this year and am wanting to start looking into costs. Does anyone want to share A- a room B- car rental C- A booth? If we get a pavillion it reduces our prices and increases our marketing!!
Let me know asap as I plan to begin to plan! I know Erin from Scarlet Rose was interested. I need 3 people total, we would each get 10x10 square feet of space and since I'm starting early and was there last year I will have a bit of say in which Pavillion we get.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Want
Want ..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Standing over here.
Looking over there.
It's all pretty green.
Moving over there.
It fades to brown.
Coming back to here.
Beige.
A soul filled with the deepest passion
And no where to place it.
No where.
Just sitting in it while looking at all the neutral color,
And watching it turn green over there again.
Damn!
They say one should know what one wants,
But wouldn't it help to know what one does not want first?
And once the want is filled.
Isn't it immediatly replaced with a new one anyway.
What do you want?
I'm not a fan of brown.
I want Technicolor.
Or at least a patch of green.
