TASTE OF CHAOS JAPAN

Hi everyone.
Just stopping by to let you all know that OBLIVION DUST will be playing at the TASTE OF CHAOS JAPAN show on November 11th.
Talks for the show came about pretty suddenly, but we're excited about it nonetheless.
Some great bands on the bill as well.
This show will also be a chance to catch the band live before the Akasaka Blitz shows in December, so get tickets if you can. (if they haven't sold out yet…)

いきなりですが、11月11日にOBLIVION DUSTがTASTE OF CHAOS JAPANにゲスト出演する事になりました。
かなり急な展開だけど、このイベントの参加をメンバー全員楽しみにしてます。
他バンドもみんなかっこいい。
12月のBLITZ単独ライブの前にOBLIVION DUSTを見れる唯一の機会でもあるから、来れる人はぜひ。（チケット売り切れてなければの話だけど。。。）

OBLIVION shows in December!!!

I'm happy (and super relieved) to announce that OBLIVION DUST will be playing the Akasaka Blitz on the 2nd and 3rd of December.
Because we had to cancel our show in May, this will be our first show since the Hide memorial summit and we're gonna make damn sure everyone that comes will have their OBLIVION appetites satisfied. In other words: we're going to be kicking ass!
Look forward to seeing you at the show!

Until then we've got the new double-A single "GIRL IN MONO" and "BED OF ROSES" coming out on the 27th of this month.
We just got done with the video for "GIRL IN MONO" a couple of days ago and so we'll have the full version up on myspace this Friday to Sunday.

While you're busy with the single, we'll be writing material for a new album that we hope to have out sometime next year.
I'll keep you updated on how things turn out while we go.

OBLIVION DUSTのライブが決定しました！１２月２日と３日、赤坂BLITZで2days やります！やっと発表できて嬉しすぎる（泣）えー、かなりホッとしてます。
５月のライブは中止だったので、Hide memorial summitぶりのオブリライブとなります。なので来た人みんなが120%満足できるライブにするぜ！楽しみすぎる！（また泣）

今月の27日にはニューダブルA面シングル　"GIRL IN MONO"と"BED OF ROSES"をリリースします。
何日か前に "GIRL IN MONO"のP.V.が完成したので、今週の金、土、日の三日間はmyspaceでP.V.をフル尺でアップします。

シングルに浸ってもらってる間、メンバーは次アルバムの作曲に取りかかりたいと思います。今のところ来年前半発売予定でございます。
ここで進行状況報告するつもりなのでよろしく！

New single, Free downloads and Crazy radio!

Hi everyone.
Our new double-A single "Girl In Mono" & "Bed Of Roses" will be released August 27th. Both tracks are fast and catchy and we're sure you'll dig them both.
We'll be giving you a little head start tomorrow by putting up short previews of each track on our myspace page.

"Girl In Mono" will be available FREE to download as ringtones for your phones from tomorrow as well, so you can annoy everyone around you! (We always like to help out on that one!)
The ringtones are for Japan only, so all you international ladies and gents will just have to annoy everyone by the usual tactics :)

We're going to be shooting a video for "Girl In Mono" in a couple of weeks, so hopefully we'll have that up for you as well.
Riki and me will be going on "GMG" radio show tomorrow morning to see our good buddies DJ George Williams, Taro and Mike and to premiere the single. Can't wait to see them (If I don't over sleep and miss the show!)

In fact, between OBLIVION and all our other projects, there's a lot going on right now with each member, so be sure you're subscribed to each profile (OBLIVION, FAKE?, VAMPS, MEGA8BALL) if you want the latest on everything going on.

皆さん、お元気？

OBLIVION DUSTの最新、両A面シングル "Girl In Mono" と "Bed Of Roses" が8/27リリースで決定しました！
どっちの曲もアップテンポでキャッチーで自信作です。
みんなに早く聞かせたいので、明日からこのmyspaceページでどっちの曲もサンプルあげちゃいます！お楽しみに。

さらに明日から"Girl In Mono" の着うたが無料ダウンロードできるので、みんなダウンロードして、着信音量を最大にして、周りにいる人達に素敵な嫌がらせをしちゃえ！（こういうのなんか好き。。。えへっ。。。）
二週間後には"Girl In Mono" のP.V.撮影もするので、それもここで公開できればと思ってます。

あと、明日の朝、Rikijiと一緒にニューシングル初オンエアーしに、親友George Williams, Taro, MikeがやってるINTER-FMの"GMG"に出ます。彼らに久しぶりに会うの楽しみだ。（寝坊しなければの話だけど。。。）

First day in the studio

Just started recording for our next single, which is scheduled to be out August 27th. Today we're in the studio doing drums and bass. We're a month behind what we had originally planned, so it feels good to be finally back on track and moving again.
Don't have any song titles for you guys yet (haven't started writing lyrics yet!), but we're excited about the two tracks and can't wait till they are released!
Oh, by the way, one of the songs is the one by Riki I was telling you about earlier.

次のシングルのレコーディングが始まりました！（８／２７発売予定）
今日はドラムとベース録り。予定より一ヶ月遅れだけど、また動きだして気持ちいい！
まだ曲タイトルないけど（歌詞書いてない。。。）、でもどっちの曲もいい感じ！早くみんなに聞かせたいよ。
ちなみに片方の曲は前に話したRikijiの曲だよ。

Home sweet home!

手術も終わり、とりあえず退院しちゃいました.......やる事も貯まってきたし、痛みも和らいできたし。焦らずマイペースで治療していこうと思います。
みんなからのメールに励まされて入院中も今までとは違った貴重な時間を過ごす事ができました。
病院は先生、看護婦さん達とても親切で、もっと入院していてもよかったかもです（笑）
これからリハビリ頑張ってまた飛ぶゾォ〜！

The operation on my foot was successful, and since I don't have that much pain and lot's of things to do, I have left hospital.
Thank you for all the get well messages. They helped me make my stay in hospital a little easier.
The doctors and nurses were all really nice. Maybe I should have stayed a little longer! :)
I'm going to do my rehabilitation from now on, so I can jump around again!

公演中止/BLITZ SHOW CANCELLED

一部報道でご存知の方もいるかと思いますが、5/4(日)イベント出演時の演奏中にギターのK.A.Zが左足かかとを骨折し、イベント終了後緊急入院となり、「左踵骨骨折」で手術をする必要があります。
5/11赤坂BLITZで予定されていたライブの実現に向けて可能性を探ってきましたが、
医師とも相談して不可能という結論に至りました。
チケットもSOLD OUTし、みなさんがとても楽しみにしてくれているという現実を十分受け止めた上で今は、K.A.Zが再びステージ上で元気に暴れまわるためにしっかり完治できるようメンバー・スタッフそして誰よりも今回一番悔しい思いをしているK.A.Zが出来る限りの最善を尽くしてまいります。
当日ご来場を予定されていた方、ファンの皆様には、ご心配をおかけしますと共に、深くお詫び申し上げます。

BLITZ SHOW CANCELLED
We are sorry to inform you that the Akasaka Blitz show for May 11th has been cancelled due to the condition of K.A.Z's foot injury sustained at the hide memorial summit on May 4th.
Although OBLIVION DUST had planned to go ahead with the up coming Blitz show, doctors have advised on an operation as soon as possible.
Due to these circumstances, OBLIVION DUST will not be able to perform on the 11th.
We sincerely apologize to all of the fans planning to come.

Sorry for making you all worry and thanks for all the get well messages.
I have been in hospital since the event and I am scheduled to have an operation on my left foot which has multiple fractures. Doctors told me that it will take time to heal, but I will do everything to get better as fast as I can so I can get back on stage as quickly as possible.
For all those who were looking forward to BLITZ, I am so sorry that we have to cancel the show.
My deepest apologies go out to everyone.

hide memorial summit : What a day!

The hide memorial summit was a blast!
All I can remember is just seeing so many smiles on so many different faces, whether from the stage out in the audience or backstage with all the bands and staff. It was a really special day for us and I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who came, everyone who was involved and most of all, thanks to HIDE. You're in our hearts always, my friend.
I'd heard about the "X jump", but seeing it in the flesh from the stage was pretty awesome! Seeing PABLO do it with a huge grin next to me was pretty funny too!

K.A.Z's injury:
A lot of you have probably already heard but K.A.Z fractured his foot during our set on the 4th. He was taken to hospital straight after the event finished and is still there as I write. I haven't been able to speak with him while he's been in hospital, so I'm not sure how badly broken his foot is, but we'll let you know as soon as we know his condition. I know that a lot of you out there are very concerned for him, but we should know all the details in the next few days, so please bare with us. Thanks.
Even though he must have been going through some serious pain, K.A.Z stayed until the end of the show, and joined everyone on stage with a smile at the end. Standing beside him on that stage on that night is something that I'll remember for a long time.

Hide memorial summit メチャメチャ楽しかったぁ！
ステージから見るみんなも、楽屋での他のバンドや関係者も、みんな笑顔で楽しそうで、本当に良いイベントだと思いました。みんなありがとう！
HIDEにもやっとちゃんとありがとうが言えた気がしました。
この日の事は大切なところにしまっとこう。
しかし、最後のXジャンプは話では聞いてたけど、ステージから生で見るのは凄かった！横でPABLOが物凄い勢いと笑顔でしてたのも凄かったけど。。。（笑）

K.A.Zのケガ：
もう知ってる人も多いと思うけど、K.A.Zは四日のセットの24 HOUR BUZZ演奏中、ステージから飛び降りた時にかかとを骨折してしまいました。イベントが終わってすぐ病院に行き、そこから僕もK.A.Zと直接話せてないので、現時点ではまだどの程度の状態なのかはっきりわからないんだけど、ちゃんと詳しくわかり次第、みんなに報告します。心配してる人達もいっぱいいると思うけど、二、三日以内には状況がすべてわかると思うので、もう少し待っててね。よろしくお願いします。
しかし、ほんのわずかな動きでも相当痛そうにしてたのに、イベントの最後まで残り、最後にみんなとステージに上がってずっと笑顔だったK.A.Zには感動した。あの日の最後のあのステージはいろんな意味でとても素敵な時間でした。
