Introduction

At first I posted personalized thank you comments and that wasn't too hard because there weren't very many people adding and being added. Recently I've gotten so many new friends at the same time it became difficult for me to keep track of who I said thank you to and who I didn't so I have decided to make this post.

First of all I would like to say thanks a lot for being a friend of OCAS. I really do appreciate you taking the time to look at the page and read this post. 

For the most important stuff I would check the blog or subscribe. i recommend subscribing it lets you know when a new post is up instead of you checking and wasting your time if nothing is going on.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions feel free to share them with me. Your questions can be about anything and I will try my best to answer your questions fully and accurately. All comments are welcome here positive or negative they can only help, just make sure if they are negative don't just say "It sux!" please use constructive criticism. All suggestions are welcome its all about what you want.

Participation is extremely important if you want to help let me know I will be more than happy to speak with you  n_n

Free membership 4life

An OCAS membership won't be expensive but its still nice to get for free. There are several ways you can get a free membership 4 life or just for the month.

Design a logo: As you can see we already have one but if you truly think that you can do better go for it! If you succeed not only will you get a free membership for life but you will also be known as the official logo designer and you will receive discounts on all OCAS stuffs

Design a website:True we have a myspace but a web site would be nice as well. Think you can design the best one? let's see what you got.

Promotions:The person who brings the most people in by the end of the month gets their next month free (minimum 10people)

A club run by its members plus Win Free Stuff!!!!!!!

Yes you read the title correctly

OCAS is a club run by its members and what you think is very important and if you don't like something just speak up if you have any ideas feel free to share and those ideas and opinions can win you various prizes.

I figured since I need help with a lot of things why not ask people to help out, I tired it and it didn't work so well and then I thought why not give them something back.

Now you can use your creativity to win free stuff like free membership 4life,plushies,posters,DVD's,Manga,etc. And always you will get recognition for your work.

One idea I conciderd is having the members vote on your idea and during voteing your identity is kept a secreat so votes are based on the work not on how much they do or do not like you.

What do you think about this idea?

Wow, its been a long time and its nice to see that some of you are still here(personal problems kept me away from this).  I am working now so I will have a little bit of money to put into it n_n I hate to leave things unfinished. I just want to thank you guys for your support(especially those who don't live around here) I will try my best to get something up and running.

Are you artistic?
OCAS needs flyers for print,online banners,mascots etc.

If you are interested here are some guidelines.
The most important thing is to not worry about your skills not being good enough,don't focus too much on it being an anime club flyer just focus on making a great flyer

Flyers for print
It must be interesting. Think to yourself would want to stop and look at this?
Please do not use any copyrighted images
Put as much info about the club on it as you want about what you want(just as long as its club info) with out over loading it.

Online Banners
As I said above it must be interesting. Would you click on that?
No Copyrighted images
Don't put too much info. Put some mystery in it, make them say hmm...

Mascots
There look is up to you! Give a little bio if you like
All mascots that are submitted and approved will be used in some way
They must be original
Please no grotesque or sexually explicit images (see art/photo guidelines post)
If your mascot is chosen to advertise a winter trip but he/she/it isn't wearing winter clothing we my ask that you redraw  the character or the clothing(They are yours)

Member Initiative Program(refer a friend)

This is something that we(by we I mean the founder and myself) are considering. We know that some people will think "when I bring a new customer to my favorite store I get something in return. What do I get if a bring a new member to OCAS?"

What is a Member Initiative Program?
A member Initiative Program is a program that rewards a member for successfully recruiting a new member.

How does a MIP work?
A MIP is very simple.  You could either bring in someone you know to an OCAS meeting, Refer them to OCAS, or post a banner on you site.

Bringing in a friend.
This the simplest way to do it. You bring a friend to an OCAS meeting as a guest, if your guest signs up to become a member you get a reward.

Refer a Friend
This is an option that I just thought up myself. How this option would work would be: We can print out a Member Referral Card or Sheet. You would request/download a card/sheet from us and on it will be your member number. The person that you are referring will then fill out the rest and give the card/sheet to whoever is doing submissions for the night, when they join.

Posting a Banner
The way way this would work is: You would post a banner on your site under that banner would be a you number simply put your number where it says "Member who referred you?"

Rewards
The rewards have not been decided on yet(I guess I can assign this task to the planning committee for now(if there will be one)but anyone who isn't on the committee will be asked as well). One thing that if for sure is that the rewards will get better with the more people that you refer, I think thats fair enough.
