"Lost" shirt stock located...
First off, a big thanks to all of you who picked up the new A23 shirts. We received the largest number of orders for shirts ever last weekend! Anyway, in the midst of all the shuffling around to make room for the new shirt stock, I discovered we still had some stock from older shirts I thought had been sold out. The numbers are quite limited, but I placed them up on The Assemblage 23 Online Store
- There are about 5 leftover tour shirts in size SMALL only
- There is about an equal number of the original 'Meta' shirt design (the figure on a beach ones) available in M, L, and XL

New Shirts Available for Pre-Order!
* First off, a BIG thanks to all the kind wishes from you guys regarding my recent surgery. Having your appendix removed is pretty routine stuff, and my recovery has been amazingly fast, but I can't help but think all your kind thoughts have helped speed up my recovery immensely! So thanks!
* We are happy to announce two brand new A23 shirt designs now available for pre-order. These will ship August 8th, but given that one of them is a limited edition, we wanted to start accepting orders now so no one would miss out. The new designs are: aLimited Edition Assemblage 23 "Army" Tee - Available in S, M, L, and XL, this shirt is strictly limited to 100 copies and will not be re-printed when it sells out. It is a one-sided design on army green t-shirt with a 'weathered' A23 logo and 'Assemblage 23' text in black ink.
The second design is a special Assemblage 23 "Damaged" Tee. Fans asked for a design based on the popular track off the new album, and we heard you loud and clear. 2-sided design on high quality black unisex tees available in S, M, L, and XL. The front features a 'shattering head' image with orange 'Assemblage 23' and grey 'damaged' text, while the back features a small, white A23 logo up near the neckline.
Get 'em while they're hot! Just point your browser to http://www.assemblage23.com/store.html

Ouch!
Now may be a good time to mention that orders from the A23 store are going to be a bit slow to ship compared to usual. I had to have an emergency appen..omy surgery this weekend and in addition to being on some pretty heavy painkillers, I'm not supposed to lift anything for a couple of weeks. My lovely wife will be helping me in that respect, but I just wanted people to be aware that our usual speedy ship times will be a LITTLE bit delayed in the next couple of weeks.. apologies for any inconvenience this may cause!

Friends Approvals and Other News
* First off, if you had sent me a friend request in the past couple of months and it didn't get approved, that problem should be remedied now. MySpace offers a feature to bands with over 10,000 friends that allows you to have friends automatically added so you don't have to spend all day checking your profile for friend requests. Nice feature. But it doesn't work. For some reason, about 300 of you had friend requests stuck in limbo, while other people somehow got approved. At any rate, this problem should be resolved now. Apologies to anyone who had to wait a long time to get approved.
* Thanks also to all those who came out to support us at Arvika, in London, and at the Black Field Festival in Germany. It was a grueling schedule that didn't involve much sleep, but we managed to pull it off and have a great time doing it at the same time. There are no more live shows planned for quite awhile, while I concentrate on the next album.
* New shirts are coming! 2 new shirt designs will be available at the beginning of August. One will be a limited edition 'army green' design, while the other will be a design based on the song 'Damaged' after many requests from fans...

Lost Signal Re-issue Out Now!
Just a note to let people know that the previously announced re-release of Lost Signal's 2001 debut album is out now on 23db Digital. As a reminder, this isn't simply a re-release - the original tracks were mixed over from scratch resulting in a much cleaner, more contemporary sound. Definitely a must for fans...
This release will be available on most of the major digital distribution sites such as iTunes, Rhapsody, eMusic, etc. While it hasn't yet reached all of the distributors, it is up on most of the major ones as we speak. Enjoy!
Check it out at: The Assemblage 23 Online Store

Free music!
Just a note to let everyone know that the last four unreleased backandtotheleft tracks (produced by yours truly) are available to download for absolutely free from their MySpace: www.myspace.com/battl
For those of you who are unfamiliar, backandtotheleft was a Seattle based project who were the very first signing to my 23db label. After their debut album and the opening slot on A23's US "Storm" tour, the band was picked up by Metropolis Records. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, singer Darren Miller decided to leave the band. The band decided to go on with a new vocalist, SD6's Brandon Jerwa and a new album was started. Unfortunately, after completing 4 tracks, the band decided to dissolve. So these 4 tracks represent their final output. We all agreed the songs were very cool and should see the light of day one way or the other, so now you can grab them for absolutely free! Aren't you a lucky bastard?

A23 Rarities CD Sells Out + Black Sun Festival
The limited edition Assemblage 23 collection "Early, Rare, and Unreleased 1998-1998" has sold out. I shipped out the remaining copies to retailers this morning, so you may still be able to find copies through A Different Drum, Metropolis Mail-order, & Storming the Base. I have 5 copies left which I will be bringing with us to Black Sun, where they will probably go quick. If you didn't manage to get one of the CD copies, the album will still be available digitally through iTunes and the usual suspects...
A big thanks to everyone who bought the album!
Also, for those of you on the east coast, we will be headlining the Saturday night line-up of the Black Sun Festival in Connecticut. Hope to see lots of you there!

A23 News 2008
Happy New Year's & The Blueprint for 2008 Things have been a bit quiet here on the website lately, so I thought I would take the time not only to wish all the A23 fans out there a wonderful New Year's, but to give an update on what is to come in 2008.
• Live - As many of you probably already know, A23 did the most touring we've ever done in a year in 2007. We visited many of the usual haunts such as Germany, the US, the UK, and beyond, but we also visited places like Russia, Australia, Serbia, and Bulgaria for the very first time. These were all amazing experiences we will never forget, but 2008's live roster will be much lighter. It's time to get back into the studio and working on new material. Most of the shows we will be doing next year are now listed on the LIVE page (http://www.assemblage23.com/live.html). It is unlikely we will be doing many more shows than what is already listed. Sorry if that is disappointing to anyone, but we need a break from the road, and, I suspect, the road probably needs a break from us too.
• Assemblage 23 - In the coming days, I will be getting started on the next Assemblage 23 album. I already have some pretty promising little snippets I threw together on the road and I'm excited to see how they develop into full-fledged songs. I don't have a title or even a release date in mind at this point (way too early), but I will make that info available as I figure it out myself.
• Nerve Filter - I've been working on some new Nerve Filter stuff as well, but I am not sure whether it will get finished or not. Although critically well-received, the last album sold extremely poorly and it may simply be that the appeal of the project is too narrow to release viably. We'll see...
• 23db Records - It's been awhiile since there has been news from 23db, so I am happy to announce we have some cool stuff coming out in 2008. First off, we'll have a couple digital-only releases. One is the amazing return of a cult act from the 1990's... the other is a completely remixed and remastered version of another cult classic album. I'll get into specifics about the who's and what's when we get closer to the release dates. Also coming in the new year will be the third album from Lost Signal (which will be available in both CD and digital formats). Again, no idea on a release date, but we are hoping for a fall release.
Assemblage 23 and 23db Records CD Fan Packs Now Available Over the years, we've had many people write to ask if they could get a discount if they bought all the Assemblage 23 albums at one time. Later, we got similar requests regarding all 3 23db Records releases. We've heard you loud and clear, and now offer 'fan pack' discounts for people who want to buy all the albums at once. Get all 5 Assemblage 23 albums for $50 (save almost $20!) or all 3 23db Records releases for $30 (save over $10!). Check out these deals, plus great new t-shirt and hoodie designs at the Assemblage 23 Online Store (http://www.assemblage23.com/store.html).
