About 10 boxes, mostly Hollywood bio's were sent to the $1.00 today. There are even a few signed books in there.
As usual for our $1 specials they only stay on the table 1 week! If they don't sell by then they get recycled. There are more of these than will fit on the table so there will be some around for the next few weeks but no longer than that.

In our Bargain books at the back and outside there are some $1 Coobooks, and some $1 Travel books left. The $1 books get rotated out after about a week or 2 so check quick.

SF Bookclub Editions $1.00 while they last
Bunch of SF bookclub's from the 60-80's went onto the $1.00 table this week. After a week or 2 they're cycled out, so if you want to see them don't put it off.

Book Show in Mission Hills 2006

Book Show in Mission Hills 2006
 This is always a fun show and we did okay as per usual. We were rather disappointed at our table - looked like when the former owners sold the Inn they took their good tables with them and left the discards?! But we'll put the screws to Tom and make sure we get a good one next year ;}
It was a shame so many authors were no-shows, more than usual I think. I was impressed with Barbara Hambly sticking it out when she was obviously feeling so poorly, and with Fredrik Pohl for staying even longer than his scheduled time.
Larry Niven showed up and wandered around even though he wasn't actually scheduled to be there at all.

Children all in order!
 Finished organizing, cleaning, and arranging the children's section.
There are labeled sections for Chapter Books, Collectible books, Picture Books, Cartoons, Comic Books, Little Golden Books, Christmas, Halloween, Dr. Seuss, Disney, Pre-School, Primer, Anthologies, much of the non-fiction is organized by subject, and much of the Juvenille hardcover fiction is organized alphabetically. (these links are all for the collectibles of course, but there are many books in each section.)

New Trains!, Hollywood Picture books. Move Hunting, Trains, Playboy, Genealogy, Mtn. Climbing
Moved:
Hunting to the small bookcase against the wall down the same isle is used to be.
Trains to Transportation isle.
Playboy magazines to counter under register
Genealogy to the very top shelves above art/collectibles
Mountain Climbing to Travel & Adventure (into other room 1st bookcase you'd run into)
Jewish / Holocost History moved to back room middle isle.
Pulp Magazines moved to above the Science Fiction hardbacks, back room middle isle.
Opera & Composers moved from Music to below U.S. History
Changed:
U.S. History is now organized by State
All the pictures on the walls in the back room have been reduced in
price.
New:
Hollywood picture books/coffee table books, a large collection on the shelves now.
Trains! Large collection of train books & magazines - nearly all on the shelves.
