OTL’s Tuesday Tidbits...April 22

Ok I thought it would be cool to start a Tuesday Tidbit thingie-ma-jig for you all. I had SO many of you telling me that there weren't enough live band pics so I added over 500 for you to see! (even ones from when OTL started out in LA!) And now I am getting word from you that I dont update u enough and blog enough! So how is this? haha Keeping me in line...gotta love it. My mom personally thanks each of you too. =)
Ok...so we had our photo shoot last Sat. with the very talented Rebecca Leigh and it went so well! There are a few advance pics u can see now on the OTL myspace page. Others are coming soon...we are basically waiting on Ms. Rebecca! (hint hint!) haha Maybe she drank too much when we all went out last Sat. night. Wait a second...I know for a fact she drank too much! I was going to taxi her to her room but after I paid my tab at the bar, she was gone. lol I hope to get details later. kidding
Oh and if you look at the pics, you see Adam our drummer getting more drunk as the shoot goes on and he was always smoking. Thats why we love him! And you all will have a treat when you see his crazy ass on the drums! Ask Adam what Hoodini means. =P (Oh and for the record we all started passing around the Evan Williams bottle toward the end of the shoot) shhh.
We have had some great meetings with potential managers and I think we will have representation very soon! Finally! =) Its not that we haven't had tons of offers, I am just being very picky. And I am so excited to hit the stage again! (May 23 in Murfreesboro TN and May 30 in St. Louis MO) Can you believe that we are only playing ONE song from the OTL EP. Everything else is brand new and I cant wait for you all to hear the new stuff. We are working hard on finding our right producer and getting this show on the road! In the next 2 weeks the myspace page, the OTL website, etc. will ALL be updated! We will have new merch soon too. New promo posters, new video clips, ringtones, etc. Stay tuned ya'll. Remember to show some love to the OTL band: Anderson, Adam, and Jerry!

Darryn’s move to Nashville and OTL...

Ok...I am getting bombarded with emails, comments, calls, texts, etc. about what is up with OTL. I kind of wanted to wait to write about everything until the new music was up, the new photos were complete, the new music video was shot, new shows were booked, etc. but I feel the time is good right now. And 4-6 weeks is when ALL the new stuff will take place. I will keep you all posted! I cant wait for you all to hear my new music. Its some of the best stuff I have written and only better to come. I promise. And I am working hard to get the OTL show to every city on the planet. =)
I move to Nashville officially Feb. 25. I have spent the last 12 months networking, commuting, writing, and getting to know the fine people and places of Nashvegas. (I have no idea where that name comes from, someone please tell me!) So to save money on gas and hotel rooms, I just thought I'd move there. As most of you know, I started On Tracy Lane out in LA where OTL had some great success with licensing music/shooting a video with Lacey Chabert, etc., then moved to St. Louis where I must say that it has been more of a learning process than anything else. Although OTL did open for Avril Lavigne and Butch Walker in St. Louis and press on the band picked up quite a bit! I am from the St. Louis area, my family is there, and I have some amazing friends....but its a town I just can't get into. I am a huge Rams/Cardinals/Blues fan, but I am experiencing now what I experienced when I moved to Southern Calif. several years ago. And that is a huge desire to be in a strong music town.
I wanna hear from you! My friends, fans, naysayers, family, business people, anyone! Show me the love. Show me that I have people in my corner. Or talk crap, thats cool too. Because sometimes all the naysayers are the ones who inspire me the most. On Tracy Lane baby. Darryn to Dream.

MTV/OTL news! The 5 songs on the OTL EP have been licensed to MTV...
