For those of you who I hope to see in Lafayette, I'll be there soon. I added a trip to Disney World with my mom in there, so it kind of fucked up my plans for hanging out and partying. On top of that, I talked to my older brother for the first time in about 5 years and he and Ivan and I are all going to get together, taking up a couple more days I had planned on taking it easy and seeing friends.
But, Rachel, Ivan and I were thinking about extending out time there by a day or two at the end of the trip in order to see more friends and spend more time eating and drinking...
I think I have a lot of your numbers, but a lot of them are old...so if you've gotten a new phone or something, I might not have it. I kind of underestimated how much time I'd have to actually play around in town so I hope I get to see you.
I'll try giving most of you guys a call tonight or on the road, but you might have to call me in the next couple of days b/c I might not have your phone number anymore.
Here are a few pages from my anthology comic, Vaudeville. Hope you like them. Thanks to my buddy, John Smith, Vaudeville should have its own website up soon.
My initial pages that I did for Mike Baron are finally inked. I haven't gotten a chance to see it yet, but Mike says they look good. I'm mostly just excited that the wheels are officially back in motion one way or another.

P.S. - If you didn't see my last blog, go fuckin' sign that petition. It's exploding with signatures, but it's still 1/5 of the million we need to make a fake piece of shit admit defeat!
Everyone should sign this petition as soon as possible (and get all of their friends to do it too).
Uwe Boll (producer/director of Bloodrayne, Alone in the Dark, and House of the Dead) has said he’d stop making movies if there’s a million signatures (I’m sure that’s a lie). I don’t care about video game movies one bit, but if you do your part at least we can show the world that he’s a liar AND he’s got no support for making bad art.
Well, I recently met with Mike Baron again and showed him the work I'd been doing for our comic for the first time. I think he liked it quite a bit. He seems to have a publisher interested right now who wants him to double the size of the story he's written (from 60 to 120 pages). This is scary but good...I was already worried about completing a 60 page graphic novel on time, but 120 will give me twice as much steady work and really test my abilities.
My part is done for now, though. I've finished the pages we're going to send in to the publishers. Now we'll try to find a suitable inker for the book. If we can't, I'll probably ink the first few pages and try to find an inker through the publisher. My comic is going to be one tough bitch to ink...so good luck to whatever bastard gets that job (not me, not me, not me).
So until the next stage of this book, I've got a little free time on my hands. Who wants to hang out?
As some of you guys already know I got a chance to meet up with Mike Baron at his house and talk comics. It's a long and funny story, but it ends up with him really liking my work. He and I have plans on working together and pitching some ideas to Dark Horse Comics.
So, I might have an actual JOB drawing comics and making MONEY doing it. I might actually get my SHIT PUBLISHED.
So there's a new documentary about the Holy Modal Rounders, my favorite band. It's pretty strange that a band almost no one has ever heard of is getting their own movie.
There's a special one time only showing of it today (friday) at the Lyric Cinema Cafe in oldtown at 7. I have to work, so I'll be missing it. The director is going to be at the showing, too.
